Love everything about this - except the sax - which is just a deaf spot for me in the world of sound. Would love to hear this remixed minus that sax. Everything about the production is tops.

Why the hell did it take me so long to get to this?!?! Life I guess. Well this is added to my "Redshirt's This Is The .... List". All around sickness. This will be perfecto for your gig. Love the sax and synths. The beat is moving too. Yet again, can't fault this. Love the breakdowns and bringbacks. You a Masta!
Good good club track this! Vocals and sax great and a real groove to the bline and beats. Glad I listened......I will have to re-record my vocals on "Hold on (Redshirt Theory)" again after hearing the quality of this! Kevin Mooney

phat bass man. you sure do know how to makem red. vox are awesome and obviosuly the sax just add that essencial character. I often feel a chem bros influance in your tracks though you have your own style. huge chem bro's fan btw so i enjoy your music. a mighty fine production
Just gonna go get m' dancin' shoes on...Would definately go down well in the clubs over here. Sax is fantastic, gives the track a raunchy edge and superbly put together!

Man, this is one of the most pofessional soundin tracks i've heard on here..great stuff!! Very cool vox, lush sax an VERY impressive production! Rated for sure!
Hey,if them moonshiners back in the old days had this play'in when they were runn'in from the revenuers, they would of done a better job of driven for sure.LOL.Nice piece of work!
Housetastic Mr The 'Shirt, nice beats as usual and some cracking percussion. Edits outstanding as ever. Lollie's voice suits the vibe of this totally and it's definitely one for the cool clubs. Hope all's going good & another top track! You should really get your stuff on radio in UK as well.
You know I love this one, I play it full blast in my car, your right it is sexy. Sounds spot on, well done!
Can't really top Graham's comment (swingers in a hot-tub?! ;-) As professional sounding a track as there is around here. Great stuff again (wonderful sax too...)
Sax at a quicker beat eh? The vocals are lolliepoptastic mate and the whole things sits together like swingers in a hot-tub - steamy with an undercurrent of sex.
Nice stuff Mr. Red, really does have a sultry vibe to it, great club track. Excellent vocals and are pretty much perfect in the mix...goodies left.
Solid club track, I totally adore those vocals and the effects with them. The saxophone fits like a glow. I dig it. Fresh,.
I'm not really into this sort of music, but I appreciate your artistry, and the song sounds groovy to me. I can imagine all sorts of rock guitars and strange vocal roarings going into stuff like this. Maybe some day in the near future I'll write a rock song with this genre in mind and let you see if you want to do your magic with it?
....s I can't download it! does that mean I have to buy your CD? lol
This is the kind of stuff they play at my favorite bar here in somerset. relentless bassline just keeps the track driving along. and that sax fits perfectly as you say, it really does. especially in the break. I think I could do with a bit more after the break though ends a bit soon but other than that top track. ta for the download.
Wish I had your drive when it comes to re-working a track, mixing and mastering! I have heard this a couple times now. Gets better and better Aaron! Still love the feel of this track! I feel sexy, saxy and snobby now! lol... WTG!:)
Oh nice sumertime bouncy house feel to this one red! Nice sax-a-maphone playing too! Have to say you have done a fine job of creating a track that suits and compliments the vocals so well! Some nice filtering too! I like the minimalist feel to this and truthfully it stands up very well, like the little touched of synths that just nice and nothing is over powering the track it just all gels sweet together. Yep and the nice standard easy to mix out end. Well done Red have to say its a rather nice track and is going on my favs list for some nice chilled easy listening compared to what i male! lol Best of luck with this at the gig Red it should go down nicely! Marty
Again excellent work Red, its got a great feel to it, a good dancy little number xxx
nice solid track Aaron:-) enjoyed my listen - lollie's vox are really nice and thesax is a cool touch..well done:-)

Hey..I like this a lot. posh hot 2 trot! kind of track you could bring in and out of your set throughout;)
I used to be into this sort of music, back then it was known as 'Progressive House'. I enjoyed lkistening to this one.
Nice track. Don't suppose you fancy remixing some hardcore Krucial Kristian dance gospel, by any chance? I could do with a more polished sound...

Well...since you put me at the top of the charts I won't take t personally that I'm not in your recommends lol
Real nice work! I love how seemless this song is; everything flows nicely :) Nice to see I'm not the only one tearing it up in California :)
The intro is wicked synthege. I dint here the version without the sax but the sax fits so well. A nice vibe throughout the whole of the track. The vocals are of a real high quality to. The structure is spot on aswell, perfect for the dance floor! Congrats on top spot. rate.
congrats on top spot bro :)
A Redshirt stunner!! You work so well with Lollievox it's mind-blowingly good. I can't sing the praises of this track enough. I love the use of the vocals and sax, of course underpinned by an excellent beat. I also think it's about time you did a 'classical dance' track........AARON A G STRING?????? lol
I,m here listening again, I really , really like this, all my mates have listened and they give it the thumbs up to! It's gonna be a hit, I just know it.
Quality track red, the sax works really well, lush vocals and pounding beat, great track man. Regards: FAtal X 8 ~ Aka ~ Destri
This is fab! Love the chilled out feel to it, the vocals are great, an excellent production.Gets my rating!
Really great clubsound Mr Shirt ! Lollivox vocals make this a sure hit m8. Daftpunkatthebeach track... I want a beer, and you should get a record deal !

Funky and class, nothing short of what we have grown to expect from you. Nice vocals and production mate, well done. Rainy x
Still sounds excellent, and the sax really gives it something else too. Perfect! Mark
Wickedly sinful & gorgeously bubberlicious sound you got going on here, she's a talented vocalist for sure & your production levels are well rated. Class, pure class ;)
lovely jubbly
Yep! Quality! Nuff said.
Thought it was really good before! Now...adding the sax! Awww... I love sax! Just keeps getting better and better! :-) Carol Sue
excellent stuff, really banging, the vocals work brilliantly within the track, and the sax is downright f..kin immense
Sweet stuff! You really manage to bring a track to life everytime, mate! This is a top class piece of dance music! And that sax line works perfectly!
Ooh, sax in the afternoon sun! I love it.I genuinely believe that you are one of the chosen few ion this site who sets the standards others need to aspire to. Big thumbs up from me.
This is the summer 2006 dance tune!On the beach. Give me a margarita quick like. Hey don't bogart that joint . What a divine mix of talent. Love that jazzy repetitive key in the background. Si minimalist yet si plein d'ideas et groove.
everything I ever dreamed...congratts!
WHEW!!! What an amazing sax!! Such emotion! The sax is an AWESOME addition to this track! It made it so much better than it already is. Seriously, that saxophone is SAWEET!! Not sure if I nominated this, but I'm going to anyways. :D
great mid afternoon, chillin on the beach track.like it.
and i like the added extra with the sax :)
yeah man this is pumpin :D
your beats are excellent. this one has got an original mix of house/chill/latin/ambient feeling.
top banana
Havent commented yet but brilliant arrangement - some cool sounds in this - theres a real cuban feel to the tune. Love that female vocal stab cool man, very cool
Jealous as hell !
Yeah this is cool.Cnat sit still to it.Kick butt beat! Was thinking of something like this as a backing track to an rc plane video.Groovy man!
It was Alright for me. very well produced. JAY DITHERS
Yeah I like this, intro is nice, love the rythm, and does have a summery feel to it, got me rocking in my chair this one, Like the vocals and how you have put it together, for the "genre" it's excellent... well done!!!!
I always expect a total, mind blasting, ear shattering symphonic wall of sound from you....and so the very funky and loose opening totally threw me, but in a good way. The vocals are frankly a delight, and totally lift the music to new heights....and together with the driving, soaring sultry quality within the music, underlayed by the efficient 'factory preset' bass it's clear that this is a winning formula in every way. That's why you've got a chart nomination from me!
Well worth the wait! (as I couldn't view player at first) Thanks! This is really great. I love everything from the vocals to the production. Sweet mix! I'm hearing a lot of talent! Bravo! :-) Carol Sue
Nice summer vibe..displayed at the right time for me mate which is a bonus point. Its a cool track..and the b-line is wicked..compliments the vox a treat man, sounds real decent. Always produced nicely my friend and a pleasure to stop by man, peace.
Hi...great track, nice and chilled out. Yeah her vocals really fit in well on this. Love the groove to this too, and excellent production again!...Rated and nominated! Mark
like other people have said. this track is done well. filtering sounds, dance style. a certain sexiness to it with the vocals and overall bass/beat. catchy. nice song to hear.
Hey dude! Great job with this track. Will always love your filtered openings! The beat on this is prety sweet with the bongos, it's like a jungle beat which is cool. Great use of the vocals and yes lollievox does have a wonderful voice (great for trance). I have to say the melody for the arp-ish like synth is pretty wierd, but works out great with the strong bass. Sound effects are nice too. What can I say? It's great! Rated man! Remember to put it in for the contest! :D
brilliant, excellent, superb! you really are a talent. excellent track all round, i could deffo see this hitting the dance floor of my local clubs. excellent vocals too from lollie, brilliant rated and nominated!
yup red does it again quality track. i agree lollievox has an amazing voice & it blended just right with a bit redshirt magic.love the filters sweet m8 sweet :)
Good stuff redshirt, but that dosen't supprise me. You have the envyable ability to blend your production with others. Top vocal with a top track to match. (Oh and by the way i got the computer sorted last night, so I'm back on Track for the guitars) Great little key parts and rythems throughout this, So its a rate from me Steve
Thanks for the hot comments boys!!! I love this track!!!! ..my horn player Mike Miller wants to see if you would be interested in sampling from his sax if we were to send you mp3?
This is brill mate = gets a rating from me! As usual very very well produced,. Samples cool too ! Very sexy voice
Nice one Red, really good funky bass line. I agree with you that the vocals you have used fit perfectly. The more I listen to it the beter it gets. I also agree with Mirala and can imagine this being played in a trandy bar or lounge. Good stuff. Steve
Your style is so freah. way cool...That Laurie is a hummer!! send her flowers!. I am ready for summer now. Def for a trendy bar in Paris.
you consistantly produce commercial quality tracks Red, and while this house track is probably not amongst my most favourite of styles, it oozes perfection. The vague vocals work well for this type of floor-filler.
First thing about this track that struck me was the powerful bass, nice work with that! Vocals are good too, and overall the track sounds well produced. Only problem is it sounds a little repetitive. I can imagine this being played in a trendy bar, good track!
Hailing from the Southern California coast, Aaron Jones (Redshirt Theory) developed his innate musical sensibility from his father who played guitar in a local band. Over time Aaron was introduced to classic rock bands like The Beatles, The Who, and Queen; classical composers like Aaron Copeland and Carl Orff; and electronic bands like Prodigy, Chemical Brothers, and Daft Punk. His inspiration to compose stemmed from the undulating beat mixes of bands like the Prodigy and The Chemical Brothers. Impressed by all genres, he quickly found a niche; creating his own style of infusing various instruments with complex beat patterns. This unique sound experiment soon landed him contracts with video game distributors and local Arts groups.
Since 2005, Aaron Jones has collaborated with the prestigious Arts organization, Quixotic Fusion in Kansas City, and has been featured in over twenty games for the Wii, Xbox360, and PS3 consoles. His collaborative mission keeps his style innovative, mixing electronica with instruments that are unconventional to the electronic scene. Recent collaborations include compositions with sitar, banjo, and Celtic flutes. These challenges distinguish his unparalleled approach and are quickly making Redshirt Theory internationally recognized. As an artist that doesn’t settle for conformist musical views, Redshirt Theory continues to explore electronic music’s vast avenues and push the limits for a redefined musical genre.

So here I am with another review. This week, I took on a different approach of choosing who the victim/lucky person would be. I'm not being egotistical by any means. I love writing reviews and giving people a perspective of their music not thought possible. Basically; a good experience. And not just for the artist but the readers themselves. This week... I decided whoever got #1 on the weekly char
I have to admit that upon the first listen, I found this track confusing in that I was slightly unsure as to where it was going. It has an exceptionally complex structure which takes a few listens to really get to grips with. This is not necessarily a bad thing, however, btu in general, I do feel that the track is much longer than it needs to be. The 1:15 long intro builds exceptionally well,
The first artist this month from MP3 Unsigned is an old mate, Redshirt Theory whose IDM stylee has captured my ears a time or two over the last year or so - and I don't particularly like dance that much. Mind you, I do like almost everything so long as its done well and has plenty to say and on that score it's not surprising that Redshirt Theory should be such a big deal on that site. Funnily enou
Your reviewer can’t help thinking that he’s on a hiding to nothing taking on a track that, at the time of writing, had received 52 comments, 37 ratings, been downloaded 31 times and hit the #1 spot here on MP3Unsigned. But hey, that’s the price you pay for inviting requests for reviews. Mind you, couple that with the fact that one half of this collaboration (Redshirt Theory) has had, at t
Well first of all I have to say I've been following the progress between The Tartan Rascals and Redshirt Theory over the last few months and they never fail to amaze me with their combined talents. Akkie's great guitar work, Redshirts kick ass beats and Stevie's vocals all make for a great fusion of sounds. (Don't forget to mail that cheque to me :-p) Right onto the track. I think the thing
"Come Home" is Redshirts second entry into the 'elements' competition after the stunning 'Infliction' track which I highly recommend you give a listen. Comparisons aside, "Come Home" is another successful collab with the Tartan Rascals and a fine entry into the competition, focusing as Reshirt describes on 'human emotions as they are important "elements" to our lives', which I thought was a pretty
could easily see myself going crazy to this version of the sheds original. keep up the good work. any chance you'll do a version where you drop the beat in the middle only to bring it stomping back with 'one from the quiver' ringing over and over in my blessed ears. BTW i always thought the lyrics were 'run from the river' but apparently its as stated .one from the quiver is a reference to how goo
Right first of all I would like to just quickly say that Redshirt Thoery aka. Aaron Jones, is one of the many artists on this site that I am in awe of. His talents coupled with his sheer determination never cease to amaze me. He has a great personality and his passion for music is clearly apparent in all that he does. Okay then so onto the track. First of all it starts off with a nice trippy
Ninety comments! It's hard to imagine I could add anything to what's already been said about this track, but I'm certainly going to give it a go. Senser. Prodigy. It's all that's basically going through my mind when I'm listening to this. I love those bands, and I'm automatically loving this. This track kicks some serious gluteus maximus. Massive beats hypnotise immediately, ensuring they're
Redshirt Theory's Blue Mind in a Red State takes the listener on quite a journey. As he describes it, ths song takes you from pain to letting loose brilliantly. Although the first half of the song went a little long, it does build up the "pain" quite nice to be released halfway through the song. Early on, the synthesized strings (I think) remind me of the
My review of the artist formally known as dj redshirt now the Redshirt Theory Track Blue mind in a red state First off a small but very informal discussion J Mr Redshirt and I are kinda in a love hate relasanship I hate him he loves me J That will do now for the review The into is really cool to this track, very trippy & haunting. reall
At least I think this is the track I am supposed to review but my copy says this is called Good Faith so I'm a bit confused. Situation normal then. I'm not confused about Redshirt Theory though because Aaron Jones (for it is he) has delivered some very neat music my way over the past few months. One of which, Its Been a Long Time (June 2006) got a Must Have rating from me a
This is my first ever review on this site and boy did I pick a 'biggy'! It has been sitting at the top of the charts for the past week and on hearing it, that is no surprise at all.It has been welcomed on the site as a whole as a great piece of work and at 9 minutes long, the listener clearly gets their monies worth. I have to add at this point that those of you who know my work, will realise, tha
Wow. This just grabbed me, straight from the start! The synth line is great, and to me it feels really big. Certain synth sounds that come into it during the first part sound immense, really adding to the overall feel of the piece. The drums are good and powerful, banging away like nobody's business! The vocals are excellently delivered, really complimenting the music, and Saphire really does
Awesome work bro! Way cool. The changes completely make this different. I could definitely hit the nightlife listening to this. Keep it up!
For those who don’t know me where have you been? Although I will give you the benefit of the doubt and introduce myself as the Singer-Songwriter from Serenity or the nutty bird known as RainyD here at Mp3unsigned.com. I would also like to point out I am no producer and usually team up with the incredibly talented Virus (just because he’s a G and better than me at production really).&nb;
As I've said before...this track is simply awesome. Marks' vocals are exquisite! Strong, dynamic, energetic...you engage the listener from the beginning to end. Production is top of the line, probably woulda had a little phatter bass line throughout but for the most part, this is an excellent collab. How does one follow up on this track? A remix perhaps? hmmm Definitely radio/club mater
Third time around for MP3 Unsigned's The Redshirt adn I must admit I was really curious to hear what they'd dished up this time. Warmed Up (February 2006) certainly piqued my curiousity even though - for my money - it wasn't the slam bang track it should have been. Its Been a Long Time (June 2006), however was everything that their first track had hinted at and then some. A solid
Redshirt - Moon Shine
I first came across this MP3 Unsigned artist when I reviewed his Warmed Up (February 2006) which I liked but thought that somehow it missed the mark. It SHOULD have been a killer track because it had everything going for it, but to my ears there was something essential missing. At the end of that review I wrote 'it's fairly obvious that if this is an example of what The Redshirt does,
Hello everyone! This is an honor to review the well-known, electronic artist DJ Redshirt, who happens to walk around here with no shirt on. Why is it an honor? Well, because he’s one of my favorite artists here on MP3Unsigned and I couldn’t wait to get to do this review! Now keep in mind that this is a remix (as it’s clearly labeled, “Embers (The Redshirt Remix)”), howe
Seen My Friends? This is a haunting piece of music. I feel a little like it is from a different level of existance---a sort of cloudy floating mist! Altogether an impressive piece of work. Thank You for sharing it.
I am listening to talent -- This is nothing short of genius! I appreciate good hard pounding dance music. It Is Right Here!
Can we say "Download"?? Good job!
OOPS I did not mean to push tis button,,, I am listening and my fingers were tapping and i accidentally hit it again I'm not sorry but it is embarrasing
I had trouble getting to listen to the music as my computer for some reason didnt engage the player here,, I downloaded it and I have to tell you that I am SO pleased that I DID. The song is fabulous. I love music but only music that is good, I have to download some more,, so I'll be back without a doubt.! ! !
I had already commented on this but thought i'd officially review... Now this is not really what i listen to on a daily basis, but that being said, I really dig this stuff!
I want to cry. This is an amazing song, another redshirt masterpeice anyone might think. however for once i have some things to pick at in this track, but again its not much. I'll as usual start with the negatives, the intro to my ears is to repetitive, could just be the mood im in but, really is to much for me, it also echos the same repitieve nature through the entire song, which im not to
Two words come to mind in this track, "Holy" and "Shi*t" this really is a cracking production, theres absolutoly nothing i can say wrong about this track, actually im lieing i can, one thing, and thats the vocals the get on my nervs a bit becuas they are few and far between, i would like to hear more of them, but when they do appear they fit in so well to this song. I'm litrelly blowen awa
Energy. I decided yesterday that I was going to write my first proper review on Mp3 unsigned and I spent most of the day listening to new tunes. To be honest I was a little deterred that the majority of the music on the boards was not my usual preferred genre/style(s). The majority of what I listened to was electronica, Hip-Hop trance and dance and given that my preferred/favourite
My Religion By The RedshirtOk, first I'm going to start off with a question...... What the hell is this tune doing on MP3 unsigned?Right now this tune should be sat in Records boxes across the globe pressed by some big European dance lable. Its that good! This is really hard for me because before I did any reviews (this is my second), I told myself I would never give a 10/10 to anything
Ok Here goes, no offence intended to the original but i like this much better, having listened to both i disliked the first it didn't keep me very interested through the song. the remix however is more up my street, redshirt as always has captured a great sound in this track, its a pleasure to review, purely because i listen to the tracks i review a hell of alot and usually loop them in the b
Well here goes this is my last review of this session, and im about to review what I assume is one of the heavy weights on mp3unsigned. I am basing this on the amount of QUALITY artists that leave comments on his page I also want to make this clear dj redshirt asked me to review this track, the way he reviews his. this is based on 7=10’s but I just don’t see the point, as the template us
The Redshirt (not to be confused with anything else of a bloody colour) is an MP3 Unsigned artist I have not had the pleasure to review as yet, but just reading some of the blurb on his page gave me much to chew over. A electronica artist from California The Redshirt claims he is ' is the start of a revolution back to the big beats of electronic music. We have slowly let our electronic
I’ll start by saying, I know nothing what so ever about Electronica, in fact I can honestly say I know less than that. And to be perfectly honest I picked this track because its description is Hard Dance, Guitar Rock Clash If I had to sum this track up quickly I’d say its ‘Edgy’ not in a bad way, in a fat way. It started off and right away you know this track shows a promise of things to
I cannot believe that not many more people jumped at the chance to review one of MP3Unsigned.com's most talented artists..I could'nt wait to sort this one out. The track is seriousley tough man, it has a built up aggression that is transposed through music perfect. I have always thought very highlt of The Redshirt..I remember when the dude first came onto the scene and his music
The Redshirt is a US Electronica producer. There are a ton of Electronica artists populating MP3Unsigned, and he is just one of them. I haven't heard The Redshirt's music until he asked me to review "Freedom". Took several listens and here is what I think.....
