Wow. This just grabbed me, straight from the start! The synth line is great, and to me it feels really big. Certain synth sounds that come into it during the first part sound immense, really adding to the overall feel of the piece. The drums are good and powerful, banging away like nobody's business! The vocals are excellently delivered, really complimenting the music, and Saphire really does give it some! Her vocals come in now and again to add another level to this track, but my favourite vocal part has to be one the "Ooooooh"s, they sound amazing! There's no other word for it, simply amazing.
The breakdown, which Aaron specifically recommends, is unreal, it really is exceptional, and if it were played in a club, I'm sure absoloutely everybody would go mental. And if anyone didn't they deserve chucking out for having no soul, 'cause that is one of the best parts of a song I've ever heard! Yeah, ever! Mr. Redshirt is someone I think of as leaving me gob-smacked with the sheer strength of anything he touches, whatever the genre, and this track is certainly no exception. The melody in the coda just caps off a truly spectacular ride. Not exactly music for a Sunday morning, but I don't care, whereever you are, whatever you're doing, listen to this song.
I may sound like I'm kissing arse here, but this is one of the best songs I've heard in a long time! It's singularly convinced me to buy Aaron's album, which I can't wait to get my mitts on. Very much recommended!
