Nice dedication to "Bill" ! Top track, love it!
Luvin' the guitar riffs, very cool, this track has attitude! Great vibe there. Soundz like you all had fun with this and you can hear it. Enjoyed. Sonya.
Sorted riff draws the listener in - definitely has bar brawl scratched all over it as AT points out! Had me playing air geetyar and foot tapping along. Not to mention making those weird rock faces! The vocals are very bright in the mix, but it works! Sorted rocker!
Back for the buttons - yer vox sounds better dude or is it my imagination?
Ha, filthy! This is brimming with attitude, love it. It's the soundtrack to a bar brawl, I can just see Patrick Swayze karate-chopping flick knives out of the hands of 80s thugs to this tune :D Nice one, man!
Had to come back for another listen now it's finished. Wow - you cracked it David and Amigos! Love those guitars and your vox is well suited for this beat and type of song. Your bro would be proud of ya! Well done!
jam it all in,Love it even more this time around, thx for the Dl. Vin
Back to rate and check out that riff again lol
hehehe, c'mon back Mr. Oakwood, buttons are up now...
Do'h
That deep guitar on the intro is cool dude. You still got the cap'n playing for ya cos it sounds really tight on BPM? Yeah good mix too - yer vox sounds cool but slap a compressor on it in the PC if ya can just to lift the lo's and curtail the hi's. Reckon bass can lift 3dB in the mix dude. Good ending. Rated
Genius of course. Fast, dirty, loads of attitude, just how I like your best tracks. Bass playing is coming on leaps and bounds (best bass from you yet mix wise) Drums are sounding cool. Still think someone should do a gritty HBO cop show and just play all of your tunes over the episodes (damn why did The Wire finish so early your songs were made to play on that show) Never forget the sheer joy of a hard pumping riff (oooer !!) Loved it :)
Exciting start..nice and racey!! Just love your vocals David!! love the crashing cymbals!!! and guit!
Got that gritty feel and gonna be a cracker when finished. Enjoyed the driving bass patterns but feel the lead guitar, although it has great overdrive, could be featured a little less to allow more room for the vocals. Think you're cramming it all in David - Bad boy! WTG
Hahahaha - cram it all in, slam it all in.........bunch of pervs!! Top track.
I feel like I,m right there and your in my face, Yeah love the feel and your bringing me back to the school days, driving bass dudes where did you go bring it back, Come on don't tease. Vin
Great work David, Randy and Danny. Truely it is a perfect example of your description of one of your types of music "guitar-driven rock". Bravo!!! Unfortunately, my response to the lyrics when asked (demanded) to do as they imply my response is usually "I've got some bad news for you honey"....;0). Dan Dan
Hello and welcome to Tex Nihilo! It can be a little weird in here, but it's all in good fun and I hope you're enjoying what's playing now, there's loads more over on the right side of this page.
Check song descriptions carefully for performance credits and warning labels, a couple of these pieces aren't meant for the little'uns...
David Joel Carter (that's me!) takes credit for writing most of these songs, but some of the best are the collaborative efforts, there's such a long list of those I won't mention them all here, but do check out who's responsible for what on each song page.
This has always been one of my favorites David and the remake just kicks ass buddy. RATED
