great track right in the groove. posted by tonyc blues
Wicked dance track, Gav! Great vibe you've captured with that insanely good bass riff, I can easily see this filling up a dance floor, buddy. Interesting melodic elements throughout, and ya got my hopes up around the 2 minute mark...I thought for sure we had some vocals about to kick in....given any thought to those with this track? Beyond the "oooh"s and the vocoder you've got already? Sparks my imagination, Gav, glad I had a couple of listens this morning! Sorry I missed this first time around, but giving it a well deserved thumbs up today!

stonking bassline Gavin mate!!!...you're definitely right this one does 'have something going for it'! I all honesty I didn't think every bit of this was a Reason 4 generated thing until I came to comment and saw your comment...I think you managed to get some very clear and 'real' sounds from R4 (I almost always flop, lol)...very cool tuneage! ;)
Great work. Very creative bro.

A nice laid back, funky and yet dark if that's possible...lol!! Love the silky and polished production!! All the synths and percussion are totally on song with nothing out of place!! I am sure I have commented on this track previously, but I am still lovin it like a new piece!! The blines, percs and kicks gel together superbly!! The icing on the cake for me are the vocoder and those gorgeous harmonies!!! Top Trumps for me!!Rated and Recommended!! Baz

*Hi there.. I am a home-based producer*
Dubstep offends me :p DnB forever.
As you know I can be quite acerbic when faced with certain kinds of music; soppy ballads, string driven nightmares and - well - any music genre starting with T. Trance and techno have long been my own particular bete noirs, with dance overall coming a close third. Most of the reason is because I find - in general - these areas to be incredibly formulaic, dreivative. Heard one, you heard them al
Gavin Valentine is a home made composer based out of manchester. A self styled electronic soundscapist who likes to dabble in the realms of dance and euphoric electronica anthems when the mood takes him. I suspect Gavin is from the era of the euphoric dance anthems of the 90's when the Uk experienced the second summer of love and the clubscene kicked off with the illegal party scene and then gradu
I’ve been commenting on Gavin Valentine for a while now and I really enjoy his style. I PM’ed Gavin out of nowhere and decided I’d ask to review one of his songs. I was honored that he let me! RadioActive is his latest and he told me he spruced it up before I did the review, which made me feel even more awesomed out! So here we go! I like how the voice sets the song into some
Gavin Valentine is yet another new name to me, this time through MP3 Unsigned.com. He's an electronica artist and he's supplying me with the second trance track in a row from that site, which does seem to have expanded it's seletcion of electronica artists enormously. A year or so ago, you couldn't move on their for singer/songwriters, now it's all boingy boingy - the joys of life huh?
