Liquid Dreams (working title)
Craig I often wondered if you ever completed this piece. I had assumed you had given up on the idea until today when I stumbled across this. Its delightful and so delicate in performance. Chord structure may have been my influence but I think you have made this track your own. Go on and add your guitar and be proud of this its terrific work bursting with emotion and depth of character. Ant
I really don't understand electronica much but that being said this does have an organic feel to it -of which, is what I generally like to hear in music. I usually won't listen to many songs from this genre because it usually sounds so deliberately preprogrammed to me but this songs flow sounded pure as running stream. It's not the first Electronica song that I've enjoyed here at mp3u and it immediately reminded me not to be so quick to dismiss a song just because of it's genre. Keep up the good work. -MIke
Very very nice, ive not heard the original yet, so I need to pop off and listen to that, so based on this being the first version ive heard i think its top stuff. Really nice melody and tune and very well played! Have my vote!
Listening to Ant´s track just now I can easily see where the inspiration came from. We reach that creative slump too, every year, but at different times! There is nothing quite like a new musical toy to kick start you off. This just proves it, as it was the first melody to come into your head and what a beauty this is... Excellent work Craig and there will be no stopping you now!! Bravo
Couldn't agree with you more on the importance of Liquid's music and this particular track has been brought to new heights by your wonderful inclusions.
Nothing like a new technology/sound to inspire and you have used your new Yamaha to tackle Ant's gorgeous track...enjoyed this interpretation, Craig...got Ant's positive energy in here and then added your own colours. Gorgeous...nice to hear inspiration, and becoming un-stuck...good for you! Great track and tribute to Ant! Thumbs!
I myself love doing covers of other people work/writing/skills that I love!!! The hard part, in my humble opinion, is trying to do it justice and take it further....if you can!! However, trying to follow on from Liquid (Ant) is not a task I would take myself!! You have done it though Craig, IMHO!!!! Why wouldn't anyone want to try to recreate this........???????????? It's lovely!!!!!!!! God Bless!!!!!!!!!! Baz
Oh man, that keyboard sounds great! Vaguely recall Ant's original, will have to have another listen. So used to hearing you on guitar, this is a pleasant surprise! Nice work, Craig, thumbs!
Beautiful work. Great hearing one take recordings of this quality...i can see why you enjoyed liquids work enough to inspire you to do your version. Great work, very relaxing. :) Mal
Almost as soon as pressing the play button to this track, i was up dancing, straight into that awful 80's dancing most of us remember doing lol. 'Dance back to the 80's' does remind me very much of those days at the disco in the mid eighties, where you would stand swaying along to George Micheal's 'Careless whisper' [with your deely boppers on] and then the DJ would stick a song like t
