hey
Good morning to Superhuman,Richard Ramsey,Kiss the Abyss.Great comments!! I think that putting the words up Is a good Idea! Thank you for listening!!!!
Hey Brett, nice guitar work...not clued up on the technicalities of this style of music, but enjoyed never the less. May be you could put the lyrics up on the page...just an idea:)
I'm in concurrence about the vocal tremolo effect. Maybe just a splash of it on certain key words or phrases as it makes the vocals indiscernable. At times you sound like the singer from the HIP. IMO the song could be cut in half. Drums could use a bit more variation. Welcome to the site. In A Gadda Davida!
Hi Brett, welcome to the site! Guitarwork is quite loose but still together, vocals are ok but a little too loud and the delay effect doesnt work for me. At 9.35 it's a bit too long IMO, unless there was a radically different instrumental break with different time signatures and tempos. Anyway, the little solo break change was nice just a bit far in, I'd like to hear more of that lead work earlier into the track. Overall a nice bluesy track, nice guitar tone too!
Hello Naughty Step,Tony. Thank you for taking the time out to listen.!!!!
I could go on about the production, but I get the feeling you wouldn't give a damn! To you, the feel of the song is everything. I like the vocals, and the almost aside type of delivery. I think maybe the tremelo could be cut back just so we can hear what you're singing. And yes, 9:35 is too much, man! The guitar tone is excellent. Like Neil Young in his more angsty moments. Sorry to mention him, if you're a Southern Man!
Nice full sound you got here, like the vocal perfprmance too. Has a dirty blues edge going on. I like the world-weary approach..
Hi Annette,Thank you for listening and your feedback!!!!
I actually think the effect is pretty cool....never heard that before.... adds to the angry feeling in the song !superb guitar...enjoyed and rated.Annette
Hi Debs,Dan,Craig. Thanks for listening and thanks for your thoughts.I greatly appreciate them. They will only let me grow In my music!
welcome Brett! cant speak for the guitar work which in my ears is good and heavy. About the vox, I suggest using a lighter delay effect if it is depth you are looking for or simply a reverb. Keep it up and looking forward to more songs from you - recommended, Debs
Welcome aboard my friend. Intersting song. I agree with Craig that the time might be a bit too long. Will leave it for those with the knowledge to give more detailed constructive crits. You get them here and they are really in the right spririt. Take care... Dan
I agree with Valerie the tremolo effect on the vox is a little distracting. This has a nce groove to the riff and a catchy vocal melody. The drum loop is very monotonous though and the song needs to be edited down quite a bit. Nine and a half minutes is just too long for most people's attention span. A decent track lurking in this with a little thought and self control though. Welcome to the site. Craig
Thank you Valerie for listening!!!
I would agree with you. but it was fun making It!!!
You should go over and join the message board -- there's a large contingent of wild and crazy rock guitarists over there... Not crazy about the FX on the vocs, but otherwise a good listen.
