6+ years old and new to me :) well done on that, Shocked I not been here already. Unless you move tracks around. I always hit the master tracks. Very nice work, more sequenced than your newer material :) Reminds me a little of Robert Miles Peace,Ricky
Very relaxing and pleasant sound. Nice work. Thank you for comment on my track Clear Water
This is a very nice song. i'm glad its long i was in the mood for a long track has that children/robert miles vibe to this. really good build up and use of music enhances so well as it moves along. beautiful track , faultless recording to my ears. arrangement wise is spot on
Such a relaxing peaceful composition. I love this style of music. I'm taking notes :-))
Beautiful from the outset!! Many wonderful piano notes working in this fantastic piece!! The piece shifts like a tide and is filled full of suspense!! Lovely piano's to say the least, add in those dark strings and it's an all out winner for me bud!! Outstanding & Delicate are the words I will use!! Baz
Grabbed a Glass of wine, sat back drifted away and totally enjoyed this relaxing piece of work, respect! "Stevie C"
Nice Chill & Ambiance going on with this piece and enjoyed the build at 3m is dramatic. Like the reverb reflection you are using on the snare. the end is very good ! - Phil
Awesome, thought provoking stuff. I could listen to this all day..........David. Thx for the d/l
Hi Ant thank you for your recent visit and Like Trev I too can only play the first track on each page which is frustrating to say the least, Your piano skills are to behold and you seem to get better each time. Nice to touchable again. I don't get much time these days however, close to retirement then watch me !! Take care my friend Andy :)
Hi Liquid, I can't play any other than the first track on anyones page but this is a fault with the site. No matter though because this one is lovely. Thanks for your kind comment on my two songs and for trying to add something to Spirit. We must work together soon. Regards Trev
Enjoyed this track. Nice rounded sound mixing, with plenty of space each instrument has to work with. The way the track introduces itself is nice, nothing forced or intrusive. Progression on this is quite good too and it all wraps up neatly at the end too. Memory Life Sent you a pm by the way.
G'day Ant. Beautiful ambiance and excellent production. Everything mixed perfectly with each instrument in its own space. Great job; well done.
Cool bit of chill-out. Nice one.
awesome chill out....................one for the dark and cold nights to come for sure
DUDE! Phillip Glass is the absolute bomb! That aside you have done him justice as an inspiration. Absolutely stellar work on this piece. The atmosphere you create is pretty immense and really takes me on a journey. Favourite moment is when you push the momento up a notch at 3:00 minutes and then the drop off at 4:00 minutes floats me away to the end. Didn't want the track to end. Always wished I could play keyboards and this reminds me why. Incredible track man.
Incredible!! Am i in a dream?? Jealousy is thru the bloody roof man, wish i had the touch, the technique, and the talent. Best, Mick
Not heard this before,"Reflections" is just amazing, gentle and exciting at the same time... wonderful. Gibbo
Excellent track, very relaxing to listen to...
Very beautiful! I really like the production of this. Very professional sounding. Piano melodies sounds great! Definitely top quality mate! Keep it up!
this is excellent to exhale to. there is a reflective nature to the piece, the piano is warmly orchestrated. nicely landscaped, enjoyed
Came by to congratulate you on the featured artist spot for the week... and then I got to hear, and enjoy this beauty~ *sigh* as though-it lives. =Bravo=
Back for another listen.Still a mesmerising track.3.00 opens the track even further.Got a Glass cd from the charity shop the other week and it was so bad mate. This piece will make him run to the hills and hide.Cool track Ant.
Great stuff, highly recommendable... Thumbzup, keep on keeping me happy.
Perfection.....
Loving the deep and ghostly intro but the piano lifts it out of the blue so lovingly! The piano seems to have a great atmosphere and a life of it's own!! I know how hard is to make an instrument stand out without compromising other elements, you make it sound effortless! I also have to admit lots of jealousy on account that it has fluidity throughout!! Not only on production, but also on every piece you have placed!! Hats is off!!! Rated!!!!!!!!!! Barry
I know how bloody hard it is to pull off a perfect ambient piece. I have never managed it (probably never will) and have to say your ambient trackas are pure class. I really enjoyed this work.
Back again for me bitch to comment - she says it reminds her of robert Miles's song "children" (the intro). She played it to me and I have to agree... probably a good line to emulate (if yer under 50 lol). Unfortunately she can't rate.
I remember when you first joined this site and i remember saying that technically and theorically your music was perfect, but then that was almost the problem... ...but now...this has a HUGE vibe to it, feels more real, more emotional and more evocative Really thorough and thoughtful piece. Very dreamy
I am in love with piano at the moment so this hits the spot for me Ant....most beautiful and to be honest it was just the right length @ 5.50
Thanks for the DL ERic
You know how I feel about your art! One of my favorite artist. I'm so glad that I found you on this site. Beautiful moving piece of music. The song is simple and yet says so much. Wonderful Thumbs Eric
Tis beautiful Ant like the birth of ones children.Takes me down many corridors of joy.Best track from you my friend. The new piano is paying back tenfold.Nice your moving away from those rigid chords of past.
Ant, your playing is just beautiful. This piece has many emotions it conjures up. The spaciousness of each sound sits in its own place, and happily so. An impressive achievement my friend.
Don't care what genre you call it, I Loved every note.
This was a tad long at almost 10 mins as the last part was repetitive. Gives me scope to come back to this composition perhaps with something fresh at the end. You chaps aint usually wrong. Ant
Good build, like it. Check the piano isn't red-lining - may be my headphones (or ears) though... I like the rondo feel to this. Nice surprise at 3:00, my kind of stuff. Just at 4:45 and I notice it's only half way. I think maybe it has said all it has to say at the 5:00 mark, but I'll persevere... Yep I think so! Thumbzup mate!
Words mean little when action is called for nice
Luv the long gradual build....pause...then in with that thudding kick.Right up my street, quite an edgy feel to it...but an inviting piano melody. Was it played on your new bit of kit? Tis a tad long maybe...think it's the first time I've written a comm in one listen lol. Nice work Ant.
Just stuff I've thought of
Taken 46 yrs but finally got round to taking piano lessons and my first grade exam
Well you never know quite what to expect when you listen to a Liquid track! Everytime I visit Ant's page I am always curious as to what I will be listening to. I offered up to do some reviews and Ant asked if I would give this one some thoughts. So first off the crazy beats at the beginning of the track give it an air of mystery ...teasing your curiosity as to what is coming next...the synths give
This is gonna be real easy. I rated tens throughout , not a difficult decision there. I am completely "in love" with this track. My girlfriend likes it very much , in fact , "she liked me very much " to this song , as we had to continue playing it over and over. Our new favorite , which I must Thank You for. To get real specific and breakdown every aspect and quality of this song , to me ,
Ultimately the point of a review is too critique a song, yet the first thing I have to say about this piece is how likeable it is. It reminds me of spring or autumn, a feeling of change and possibility. Sonically my in-expert ears can't find anything wrong with the composition or production of this piece. Every sound or instrument seems to compliment the rest with none over-powering or fighting
