Pure class this Ray, yeah I'm seeing the pictures too, brilliant. Thanks for sharing, big thumbs up. Gibbo
mighty fine from the wide and spacious stereo placement of the guitars, to the delicately woven guitar fills, loved the poetic imagery, the instrumental section sings too...wouldn't mind hearing some brushed hats and snares of a train rhythm behind this...all else is to be celebrated. Very talented, Ray...yup ;)
Another beauty :) Great vocal and very nice guitars :) Yeah this has the lot. Great song writing dude :) Peace,Ricky
Lovely song Ray. Nice changes in there. A whistful song of things that never will be.

Had to come back for another listen... This one my be one of your best that I've had the pleasure to listen too... And, all that crap about having a bad voice is a load of BS.... Great tune, and for those that have passed it up.....Shame on you! You're missing a really great track... Gray
Super work Ray, has a real summery vibe, reminds of Richard Clapton at his best (I hop you like him) Great vocals, lyrics and those special guitars ringing out! Cheers, Andrew
I just knew the production and music was going to sound top notch, as it always does. Another brilliant song, poetic lyrics. Sounds like a dylan song. Love the harp, or squeezebox as david suggested. Loved it :-)
This leaves very little room for doubt... You've captured the most perfect Musical Movie of the mind.... Lyrics defined but not over-bearing. Musically toned to inspire any mind to wonder and performed with grace.... Excellent Job Ray..... An easy vote.... Thanks for the share... Gray
This is just beautiful. And boy can I identify with the lyrics. Fabulous work Ray.
Music's as pretty as the picture you paint with those detailed lyric, I can "see" this girl. That a squeezebox I'm hearing? Sweet accompaniment throughout, very easy on the ears.
These days I spend most of my time in my own home studio writing songs ... some good, some bad and some downright ugly. The halcyon days of touring & performing are long gone but still fresh in my memory and I was fortunate enough to work with some great artistes over the years. A lot of them didn't know a semi-quaver from a semi-trailer but good musicians nonetheless.
For my writing platform I use Cubase along with East West Quantum Leap sounds. I use an 'L' Series Stratocaster and a Maton acoustic guitar, along with a Yamaha P-85 keyboard and Lee Oscar blues harps.
