Ultimately the point of a review is too critique a song, yet the first thing I have to say about this piece is how likeable it is. It reminds me of spring or autumn, a feeling of change and possibility. Sonically my in-expert ears can't find anything wrong with the composition or production of this piece. Every sound or instrument seems to compliment the rest with none over-powering or fighting to be heard. However at times I feel maybe there is, perhaps, a little too much going on but it could be argued that this helps to add to the aura of change this track seems to present. The orchestration is lush and full and perhaps most importantly the track moves at a nice pace without the use of percussion which is always, for me at least, important with this style of music. The use of "acoustic" and electronic sounds fits together well and nothing sounds out of place. Also some of the keys remind me of 80's Hawkwind, which is no bad thing! Also right at the end a little bit of Christmas seems to appear with a little flourish which adds to the autumnal feel nicely. This is the first review I have ever written and only the third track I have listened to on this site so I'm quite chuffed it was something right up my alley although I was hoping to perhaps be a little more critical. Anyways and sterling track which works very nicely indeed. 8/10 and two thumbs up. Uther Doul
