Close your eyes if you have to, but it's all there. I have been a musician since the age of 14, starting with guitar. I played in a metal band for a few years at the age of 16, and we recorded about 11 songs total. I was discouraged by the lack of interest and creative input, so I chose to record as a solo artist. For a few years, I recorded melodic metal songs, although I never considered my efforts to be more than a hobby. Now, age 23, I am looking to expand my music and take it to new levels. As of now, I primarily play acoustic guitar as well as bass, although I may expand into including keyboards in my music. My hope is that I can turn casual music listeners on to some of the unique styles that I pursue. I enjoy exploring the vast universe that is music, and I hope you all enjoy the work that I produce. As for me... I am a 23 year old male living in Michigan. Yes, since the recession, it has been kind of gloomy here, but music is my escape. When I loose optimism, I pick up my guitar and play. I guess you could say it's medicinal. As of now, I am pursuing a degree in accounting at U of M. This may come as a surprise, but for the last year, I was actually in a nursing program. It just wasn't my calling however, so I am searching to find where my heart really is. If I could play music for a living, i certainly would. Life does take us on a strange journey I'll admit...
