Cosmic Lady (Bolan Boogie)
Late as usual ;) Great Take My Friends you Hit it right on :) Degs
Yay - love Bolan C;
You guys have pretty much nailed that Bolan sound; took me back to my teenage years LOL
Couldnt agree more! Excellent! Good to hear this un again. K
Yes! A great favorite of mine from his many great hits, Glam On! Andrew
One of my favorites, outta everything I've heard on this site. Thanks for bringing it back out, James. RIP Marc Bolan, keep rocking one and all.....
You have nailed the Bolan sound Nerk twins.Takes me back so many years when flared jeans were all the rage.Great tribute lads.
A nerkishly upbeat tune that delivers as usual. It is reminescent of something I cant quite put my finger on but that's good! easy sweet toe tapper and a great listen! -Mike
Yes, this certainly reminds me of Bolan and the lads.....good one Nerks!
Yeah, you certainely captured that T-Rex feel not only with guitar riffage/style but also in the vocals and lyrics!!! It's also firmly stamped with Nerk, and that is always an audial delight!! Great work and easily rated!! Baz
Holy Moly, I got here SO late, but I'm so glad I finally got here, Marc Bolan and T-Rex was the best, absolutely vital and still kicks the proverbial after all these years, and this version is STUNNING! Well Done guys! Awesome and COSMIC music! Andrew
Although I am not familiar with T.Rex, I am familiar good music, which is what I am hearing now. You two show remarkable versatility in your recordings.
Sorry for the late arrival. But ya went to the top any way! Mucho deserved for the throwback to T Rex and Bolan would truly it! How could he not. love the little "take me" at the start. Cool stuff.
I been looking forwards to hearing this all week. Sorry for the late show. I been recording all week. I try and avoid all music wile i'm in the zone. It's hard to do but I seem to get better results :) Plus my ears can acclimatise. Damn it's finished already. Presses play again. Musically really cool, infact it's all cool. Tidy tribute :) lovin' the bass :) and tidy guitar work too. Thanks for the comments over at my page. Peace, Ricky
Arr! Warms the ...les that un, oh yes! A fine song to listen to whilst looking at the stars! Reminds me of my cosmic woman...a fine woman, despite the wooden leg, I miss her dearly, never shouldve made her walk the plank!
Very Nice Sound.... I Always Love The 70s....Good Work......And A BIG THANK YOU for My Song.....Johnny O
You guys would go down a storm in our house as were all old enough to remember this stuff first time around. You really captured that 70's feel although I would have liked you to dial back a little on the treble and bring up the bass a little for my personal taste but generally I have to say great work and I went back for a 2nd listen straight away so clearly it ticks the right boxes :) Ant
OK first.. i have to thank you for spending so much time listening to all my old who remixes.. and my latest track. The last who mix was in 2006.. my latest a few weeks ago lol! Your comments made it all worth while uploading!... So here i am typing and listening to this track cosmic lady.? Well how awesome is this.. and im not just giving compliment for compliment, this track is really brilliant! This is a sound that is missing from modern music.. i am sick and tired of what i hear in this top 40 these days... don't get me wrong there are some decent tunes, but they are 10% of the entire listen. Nice oldskool rock vibe with some much needed modern rock glitter! Enjoyed and rated!!
It's 1972 and and I'm there with my tank top and flares.
Glam-Rock isn´t it? I must probably be ashamed of myself, but I am not familiar with T-Rex and Marc Bolan. Judging from what you guys deliver here, I have missed something important! - / Peo
Did any one else buy Futuristic Dragon? Sorry!
What a quality tribute, hard to believe its 36 years, at the time i was devastated. Things were looking up for him too, Tv show and "Dandy" in the album charts to critical acclaim. I'll stop there , i could go on, massive fan of T.Rex, never could get into old stuff though, started with "Swan" for me... ok i'm going. Great song, easy rate. Gibbo
This is a wonderful tribute to THE one and only Mr Mark Feld! Youve perfectly captured the sound of Bolan Boogie....the guitars are so evocative of his style. I was brought up on T.rex..and still have all their old singles still up in my loft. Electric Warrior was the first LP that i ever bought...Ride on!!! keith
Hey there, my Nerkish friends....a little boogie via Paul channeling some T-Rex..."hey, now, now!" loved the vocal work here. Great backing too in this from John...beats move us along in a piece of vintage Rex-a-liscious wonderment :) Well done! Thumbs!
I LOVE T Rex and was always very annoyed with his wife for wrapping him around a tree before he was 30 and then surviving herself. So, it's nice to have him back courtesy of those talented Nerk boys - MP3 Unsigned's answer to One Direction. (only kidding) Great lyrics and riff and many of his trademark vocals quirks which make it sound very authentic - Ya owwwww! MARC is back! Love Wednesday x
Electric Warriors live forever - I love the 'OOwww' :) Now I've gone all nostalgic. nailed it ... Phil
Definitely got that Bolan swagger and vibe that I've missed so much since he left the scene, what an excellent tribute! Actually heard a bit of this last night listening with the wife, she was so intrigued I had to pull up another dozen or so of your songs and forgot to get back to this one to leave thumbs and verbage....so here ya are. Not sure what to think of ya nerking my old lady like that, she's had a dazed look in her eyes ever since :)
I don't know if you set out to make it a "feel good" tune, but it sure makes me feel good! The instrumentals are solid, and the vocals are just perfect. Couldn't ask for anything else when sippin' a coffee on the patio! Great work.

John and Paul Nerk met while working in the theatre. They each liked what the other did and decided to work together. The rest is history.
