Getting Married
Another year? Say it ain't so :D Anniversary coming up...thought I'd drop by a song that really represents a page being turned...one of the earliest collabs with James. James got me into collaborations and I've never turned back...of course... I can still feel the angst in here :p
Sheesham and Lotus, the old-time Americana -style musicians whose presence at my backyard wedding was the inspiration for this track's rhythms, are coming to my village for a performance on Thursday...how cool!...enjoyed your re-master James!
Oh yeah. I'm loving this. Sweet vocals on this one Terry. I hate to compare, but I can't help it. It has such a Buddy Holly feel to it, which is a good good thing. Really nice job guys!
Sorry i missed this gem, full of joy and has an old fashioned charm that is really appealing. Not heard of Sheesham and Lotus but i will check them out on the strength of this tune. Thumbs Terry and James. Gibbo
Most enjoyable song guys. It's a real snapshot of an experience so many have shared.
Love the new mix! We always loved this song about that special day most of us will go threw. Sometimes more than once for some folks. Always thought this was a catchy song that show a very creative style of songwriting. Great job and as always keep the faith my friends!
Hey Terry and James, you guys do super collaborations, unbelievable that this started it all! Super harmonies and a really sweet song. Keep them coming guys! Easy to like and rate!
Very Nice Song. Johnny O
The one that started it all. Nearly a year ago now. Time flies. You wrote and produced a cute little folk tune here Terry and it was my pleasure to add harmonies and backing vocals. Cheers. James.
Ooh nice track, lovely stuff here, what upbeat:)
Congratulations guys hee hee
Very cool song you two. enjoyed and dig the subject, presentation and performance....too cool..
Enjoyed this when i first heard it last year and i have to say it has given me just as much enjoyment hearing it again. Lovely song. Rated. Paul
This is a wonderful song Terry, heart felt lyrics married(no pun intended) to a very groovy alt-folk tune. It's also rhythmically diverse and quirky, which only adds to the charm. This sounds like a long term relationship to me! Cheers, Andrew
Awe, this is just as sweet as sweet can be! I can imagine this being like a bachelor party wedding anthem, hehe... Terry, and James~ the two of you have this songwriting thing down to a science - a fantastic song!! =Bravo= :)
Nice vocals and cello, interesting introdution...rated
This song is a big favourite of mine. Loving the cello and the harmonies and the simple joyous sentiment. Love Wednesday x
My initial reaction to this tune is once again sour at the beginning, but then as I am able to work through that I can begin to get into the happiness and joy that was most likely the inspiration for the song. Interesting background sounds on this version. I also dig that cello. I want one! LMAO! Very cool of you to remember to thank your teacher too!
Hey Terry and James. Who wouldn't love this little skip into a happy memory. What took so long to get this done? Well I'm glad it finally is.
Happy Ditty LOL I'm sure I heard this before...Something you don't quite forget :p Short and sickly sweet lol...peace,Ricky
