Be Nice to Your Queen (part1)
Cool track! Dig the feel of this one! Has a very original sound to it which is cool! Nice job. Thumbs up
Love The Vibe.Great Sound Production Excellent. Cool
Hi there, Jon~ I'm stopping by to show my support for your music, and I thank you so much for your visits as well. This song of yours totally rocks... so interesting, and the variety in this is just amazing~ kept my interest start to finish. All the instruments sound finely tuned and arranged- (guitar ear candy) oh, and I certainly like your vocal tone! Killer songwriting my friend! =Bravo= :)
Great idea put into a fine backing track...liked your vox ...chanting style muses..."We've had sixty swinging years Three generations skinned Life and hope is caving in"... about sums it all up...captured that well, I think. Some interesting elements in the track itself, but the star is your vocal! Thumbs!
Hi Jon. I have heard some great instrumental tracks from you like Gone Fishing but I have never heard your vocals before and it's good to hear them on this. Love the lyircs too. I hope you do very very well in the competition with this track. I've voted. PJ
This is just straight up good songwriting! Really good stuff! Such a great display of different angles layered into one shape in sound! This song also has the longest fade out of any I have ever heard! Super listen. -Mike
Great stuff - pertinent and captivating...
A heavy track that is full of surprises. Like the lyrics, saying it as it is.
Great to read along with the lyrics as we were listening. Very well put together and we look forward to the next installment!
This is atomic! I used to think that the world described in The Sun Makers was satire rather than prediction but it is all coming true.
Hi Jon - nice to hear a new track from the Bedford Crew. Definitely some social commentary going on in those lyrics. The track is quite surreal and approaching avant garde at times which makes it an interesting listen. Love the dirty guitar sound and the bass work is superb. Epic and raw with a very cool fade out. Enjoyed. Good luck in the competition.. Thumbs. James
The vibe here is political commentary but that doesn't dominate from the interesting elements involved in the structure and playfulness of the music and vocal delivery. Is this part of GSTQ comp? It should be. Enjoyed
Plenty of corporate goings on these days for sure. Always cool to hear a strong social comment, Nice deep bass in here too Jon, really well put together and great music as usual- Deon
Thanks Erik careful - I expect MI5 and MI6 will now be tracking all entrants to this compo!!! - Oh well - i can only see the olypics in terms of our coprorate hospitality culture anyway, and wasn't going to go in protest unfortunately the world is in such a bad way at the moment I have a part 2,3,4 and (since we are back in recession) 5 for this song ....jon ;)
What a great song! Vocals and lyrics - excellent! I really dig the way that guitar is being played. The bass has a nice groove and the drums are cool. This is one cool ass track! VERY original to my ears!
I have always been musical - thank you to my music teacher Miss Horricks who discovered me to have perfect pitch and shocked I didn't play an instrument as I came top in my class ( as with everything else I seemed to do at that age!). My dad made a guitar by gluing together broken pieces of damaged instruments and thus music came about.
I continue flirting with the academic world currently sifting through ideas in astronomy and physics but whereas mathematics is exercise for the mind and music is exercise for the soul - it is my professional life that continues to put bread on the table and as such occupies most of my time!!!!!!!

I am struggin Iface piles of pills, injections my wife left me;my house
over-run by teen&tweenagers who at best ignore me at worst recently
left me calling999 in pool of blood all beaten up. my band died at chrismas
all in all not good. not good
I have reached the age where I have more friends who have died recently than I am able to invite along to "do the music thing".When I am gone - you people here will have to read it in the journals and it gives me satisfaction to know that you might even read about it and not know it was me!Anyway - I am in the process of clearing out the cabin a little bit ( not too much though!) The number of dead hardrives has dwindled recently as I have updated the heating system. I suppose if you are reading this you seriously need to get a life - just like me!!!! :)
The BBC don't love me.....My pension fund doesn't love me.....My music loves me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
