Just wanted t say "Thanks!" to all those who dropped by and left a comment on Kev's house tune. I think it is a unique aspect of this site that we can embrace all kinds of genres and just have fun with ideas, not taking ourselves too seriously. Good backing track T - I can see why you wanted to add vocal. It's not my genre but vocally it's well sung but the FX is off kilter for this kind of style. I think that the heavy reverb throughout/while each line is sung is probably the main culprit. From what I've heard/learnt (and there will be others who can say for sure) the reverb/echoey stuff is surpressed by sidechaining during the sung line then, as the line ends you get a comet's trail of echoey/verb stuff. The actual vocal line still has a little bit of verb happening simultaneously but the main effect is between lines or vocal phrases. Thumzup for daring. BTW the hamonies are cool.

Terry you been taking a page or two out of the Rich Lodato book of singing....and yeah, that means you got the power....this is indeed a funky song....wtg lads!

Different! Backing track is a very tight proggy number, I like :) Not sure about the delayed perc, sends my head west and thinking as a DJ would annoy when mixing. Vocally I think you over sing but I've blamed you of that a few times. So that's my problem. Over all very nice backing track by Kev. Nice work guys. Peace,Ricky
