The Wheel (The Light)
I like the feel of this track, dark and bass heavy, kinda reminds me of something massive attack might do, only much faster ! I feel the vocals could be turned up alittle in the mix. Other than that, i liked this. Niceone
I like the entrance of the song and then, SLAMMM! You gotta heavy beat. That sounds very sweeeet, man. I really like that kick drum. Nice and rumbling. That snare really sounds like it's cracking really hard. Great snare sound! The vocals could be a little big more forward and brighter but no probs. I really like the low tone synth in the background with the LFO goin' on. Sounds kinda spooky but not too spooky. You set the tone just right, man. This is very Front 242 sounding. Real industrial sounding. Very cool! I'm just sittin' here bobbin' the head. I like the little digital sound that comes in and out every once in a while. Nice sense of detail. Now I'm at a break, towards the end. I can hear a zap sound and some slamming in the background. Then a little wee bit of another small sound coming in with the melody for more detail. Then it just-... Well that was one smooth song, man. I loved that sound. It's been a long time since someone's made a quality industrial techno song. You definitely know how to make one. The production was very strong. I can't say it was clear or bright because this type of genre just insn't that way. You need a harsh warm sound to smooth out the rough edges of the distortion. THAT... was finely, finely done. It's hard to get distortion to sound 'good' good. You did it right. As far as the arrangement goes, there's nothing out of place. I admit I like to hear a lot of variation in the tracks I listen to (and make) but the melody in this track sounds so cool you don't really need any in it. And man oh man, you know exactly when to add that detail into the mix. The small little sounds that come into the background are very creative. I liked this a lot. You have a great day. I need to stop by here again to hear you other stuff. I'll do so when I have more time when I make my next rounds. Rated for sure, man.
An interesting amalgam of 'indie' styles. I like this very much has a neat driving groove all the way through and an irresistable pulsebeat.
Yeah cool track. Sounds like a cross between The Verve, Curve and a little bit of Ian Brown! Thats an interesting sound by anyone's standards! It's dark, it's different and i like it ;)
