Hi Jenni, This track is very, very good! :) Piano was the first instrument I learned to play on and I'm always down for a good piano song, I guess I'm not entirely sure if it's you that's playing but in any case the piano sounds great! Having not listened to any of your other tracks (yet) I get the impression that you have a very powerful voice, seems to me that it's almost more work for you to "scale it back" then to belt it out..vocals here are super! I shall recommend! :)

I luv the melody, the vocal performance is brilliant Jennie, the simlpe incluttered instrumentation and overall production etc all excellent...It's a fab song beautifully performed... I think you have probably gathered that i like this ;-) And the other ersion with Andy's enhancements takes it to another level also... very well done

Welcome to VIP :) This song is the first Ive heard from you - it's wonderful. Beautiful soft paino sounds like a harp in the beginning. Lovelly tone throughout - and you have a beautiful voice. Very pretty song!

Lovely piece of music, it mixes a bit of a gospel feeling with a more traditional ballad. Your voice is great, good singing, and I like the lyrics, not at all pretentious, very down to earth music. In this style of music, I don't think it needs anything more, there is so much copycat music with the same old strings returning or the same pop beat. There is nothing of that here, and producing it could easily kill it or turn it into something much less authentic. I'd say it's finished as it is.

Why are you hessitant to post this?! This has big production ballad written all over it and i think if you and Chris put your all into it, this would be a really big song! Some great fluid playing and some really good singing! Lovely vox, melodies and backing. I'm pretty much a hardline evangelical atheist, so the lyric left me cold, but the music and singing are almost flwaless.

No 1 for sure - agree with all below, the simplicity of the vocal and piano highten then im pact of what is a truly powerfully gentle song. a great acheivement.

One of the best songs I've heard on mp3u. Period. Reminds me to a certain extent of Evanescence ballads, with a more mainstream vocal performance (which was to your usual quality by the way!). Powerful and deeply moving and I love the simple piano accompaniment. Fantastic!

To me this sounds like a song that has been written from the best place of all - the heart. Mind you. you've got a head start in where you live (my wife is a scouser and I've got a very soft spot for the place - I find it inspirational to be there). Great performance as well, Jen.
