OH, HELL YEAH! This is awesome work. I dig the start and stop thing going on in the song. Great aggressive playing on this track. I'm glad you told me about it. I've already listened to it five times in a row and I'm not even close to getting tired of it. You also recorded this and mixed it well. Almost five years without a comment? This blows almost everything here away, in my mind. I gotta hear some more stuff from you now! Thanks for the comment you left for me - I'm in the middle of re-recording my tune to fix the timing issues, plus the extra practice should help out too! LMAO!!! I can hear what you mean about reminding you of your tune, but I still have a long way to go to sound like this does! Thanks for the download! Sorry about my one single vote - this deserves a whole hand!
Absolutely brilliant!...what a great blend of pure acoustic and hard rock! I could imagine Pete Townsend playing on this too, with that great acoustic rhythm playing going on! Loved it. And yet great musicianship!..FAB! Mark
Fabulous guitar work! My goodness you sure know how to jam! Way to go with this one! :)
love this, listened the other night in the chatroom and had to come back for another listen. great Rolling riffage , sound slike a cross between Sound garden and John butler and that aint a bad thing. Immpressed. Steve
Ooo, nice intro. Very nice indeed. Got some of metal in there already. Can already anticipating something great gonna happen. Fast guitar playing in the low keys are always cool. I feel like putting on a pair of shades for the hell of it. lol "A metal spatula scraped across an ice skate blade, and a large wooden fork on a wicker basket." SWEET!! Now that's creative! I love when people use anything around them to make music, because just about any sound can make music. Awww, it ended. This is a great intro track to an album man. This will really get anyone ready to listen to the next track. I think you should extend on this more. This is a GREAT idea. Even if you don't extend on it. It gets people pumped to know what to expect from other songs, etc. If you put this as the first track and you make a second song with a similar feel, but on an epic scale of shredding guitars but with this riding on the highway feel, it will make a great starter for an album. Alright, I think I'm done trying to convince you to extend this song lol. Some great stuff. Recommended both of your pages and rated this! :D
Cannot fault that sound........absolutely brilliant. Kevin Mooney
really nice!! what imaginative use of instruments and what a great sound you've acheived with them!! makes me feel like i've stepped back in time, to orleans or somethin, or maybe the old wild west! lol...i dunno... but great job nonetheless...... i'd really love to hear you sing like on an acoustic track...after listening to Not Ok, i just think it would be lovely to hear your voice sort of 'stripped' and upclose to a mic! ;) . . . if ya got a track like that, let me know, would love to check it out! x
Interesting track - reminds me of a cross between Music Must Change and Trick of the Light (both by The Who).
