The Bitter Pill - Part One (Soundtrack)

Artist Comments
Part One: The Beast/Captured/Plans Of Escape. This piece is a concept one (Booooo!) - dealing with the background story of the Beast from the Doctor Who Episodes, "The Impossible Planet" and "The Satan Pit", told through the eyes of the Beast itself and the Human (and Ood) Team, sent by the Torchwood Institute and led originally by the ill-fated Captain Walker. The background story was touched upon briefly in both of the preview "Tardisodes" for the programmes and has never been explored fully, so I thought I'd give it a stab. The Torchwood team was sent out after recieving strange signals from the far edge of the galaxy (plus the tantalising discovery of a book describing the planet itself) to investigate the strange existence of the planet Kroptor, called by many simply as "The Bitter Pill". Legend had it that the planet itself was a mighty beast who was thrown into the black hole, only for it to be spat out (hence the Bitter Pill reference) and left suspended in space near the black hole itself. This planet was being somehow suspended by a mystery power, not being dragged in, just set in a Geo~Stationary Orbit around the hole itself. The planet, by rights, shouldn't exist, yet it patently did. And there's something else there, something buried ten miles down through solid rock. Something that wants out. I've bored you senseless by now, I'm sure. If you've seen the programme, all well and good - if you haven't, I consider it to be the best storyline from the last series and if you even just like Sci-Fi itself, then check it out..! Lyrics are available. You'll more than likely need them. Guitar Work Expertly Suppplied By Bob Brannan. Listen Loud. In the dark, preferably. 45/90/180 BPM. 256Mb/sec mp3. Running Time: 6 minutes exactly. Doctor Who and Torchwood Are ©&® The BBC. No copyright infringment is intended. This is purely Fan Fiction set to music. New upload (24th Nov 2006 am) to add tags to the mp3.

I am Jason Newman and I am ConKuss.

Hopefully, you may find some half decent music here that entertains, depresses and angers your weary souls.

What more can I say? Enjoy, please. Loud.
