Alone with You (Rock)

Artist Comments
John composed these hauntingly beautiful pads one cold and rainy evening, and sent them my way to see if I could add anything to them. Well, I couldn't help it, and indulged myself immensely (almost guiltily) . Then, James was gracious enough to lend a hand with his ever-impressive drum work. And so, we present: Alone with You. This song's been described as a musical interpretation of sexual intimacy (you can figure out which part's which!), and while this was not the original intent or goal of the song, I have a hard time explaining it in a better way. 2006 has been a great year for Fractal Garden. On 1/1, John & I posted our first collaboration, and during the course of the year, we formed our band, started our own web site, and completed our first album. So it's somewhat fitting, on nearly the last day of the year, that we release Alone with You. This will most assuredly be the last song on one of our albums. We're not sure which one, since we have 3 concurrently running album concepts, but I think you'll see what I mean after you have a listen. Oh, and as long as you're here, our first album, Between Strangers, has been pressed and is now available through CDBaby.com. Woohoo! The CD has completely re-mastered songs, with an 8 panel, full-color CD insert just stuffed with fractal goodness. We'll also be back on iTunes early '07 where our tunes will be available as singles. You can get the direct link on our web site. Thanks for listening. Jay ----- Music/keyboards: John Drums: James Guitars/bass/mixing: Jay

The Fractal Garden project involves musicians from England and the US, providing a wide range of electronica, rock and much in between. We're a true virtual band, recording in our home studios and using up a sizeable amount of bandwidth as we send tracks to each other. Life, work and family often get in the way of our songs getting done, but we always manage to make it happen.
You can find out more about Fractal Garden (and check out our entire library and how to buy our tunes!) by visiting us at fractal-garden.com. Thanks for listening.
