And now onto the pairing of Mark Alexander and AndyF! Mark Alexander is one I haven't heard yet, but looking through his page tells you that he mainly works in Rock and Acoustic! Mind you, he has offered to collab with me on a track, so I best be careful what I say in this review! I don't want to upset a guy I want music from, do I? I'm jesting, I'm jesting! Sheesh! AndyF, however, is no new nam
The last of my constructive ripper critics. Mark Alexander. Never knowing anywhere. The song title is good. The production is crisp. The recording is quality. The timbre of voice is interesting. The overall feel is good. So…. There are only three things lacking in this tune. The lyrics are too basic, the fifth to the last note of the guitar solo is not in key and the lack of intimacy
Never knowing anywhere by Mark Alexander. Whenever I see the words Singer/Songwriter, I instantly think of people who are one of two types; The first being the type who experiences something in their everyday life and then slinks off to a darkened corner and makes something poetic or beautiful (or even angsty and ugly, depending on the suject matter) - songs where their personal feelings about s
Mark Alexander has an amazing voice. one that i think outweighs many artists ive heard on the radio. There is a certain pain in his voice that you feel in your heart and soul, and that is why ive contacted him many times for collaborations (Check out Good Grace by Redshirt Theory for our collab). sorry about that plug, but im proud of that song and his vocal performance on it is
I had to go 9 on commercial appeal only because us grown-ups don't buy as many records (CDs) as the Kiddies these days.
The subject of this review is someone known to this site, but new to me. His name is Mark Alexander. The song he asked to be reviewed is “If You Were The One”. I’ve got to be honest. I was really surprised by this guy. In a good way.
MP3 Unsigned artist Mark Alexander and I have a scorecard of one liked track, and one not so hot so let's see if we can even it up. Mark is basically a rock singer/songwriter (not that there is anything wrong with that) and it's a genre that does require you to stand out to be noticed. After all, there are a lot of these guys around, we're kinda spoilt for choice. Nonetheless, wh
Second time around for MP3 Unsigned artist, Mark Alexander, who - when I reviewed his After The Rain last month - I definitely took a shine to. Although he has a distinct American taste in music, the way its put together kinda blurs the lines enough to enjoy as a good, well performed song. Put it like this, it got a Recommended from me, and I don't hand those out with the painkil
A new name from MP3 Unsigned Mark Alexander is a contemporary acoustic artist (but don't mention the folk word OK because that just makes him angry) and if Deggsy likes him (which he does) then he's quids in. The reason I know Deggsy likes him is because he said so in the song comments and the man knows his stuff so it's an even bet that this artist veers towards the easy listening side of t
