Darby is a dynamic four piece outfit that crosses genres including pop, rock and R&B; to form a very unique style of music. On stage, their powerful live set is driven by smooth harmonies, soaring guitars and a tight rhythm section all complemented by sampled sounds triggered on computer. Whether playing big stage or low key acoustic shows, Darby delivers a dynamic all-original set that appeals to a wide target audience. Darby formed in June 2003 in the UK. An extensive song writing period saw the group develop and demo their ideas whilst living in the Midlands of England and then later, in the South of France. The group relocated to Adelaide, in early 2004, and since then have been constantly rehersing and writing new material, building up an impressive back catalogue of diverse songs.
