Everyone has probably heard the cliché phrase “we are all connected” so many times that the words have lost all meaning.
According to a recent book, Struck by lightning: the curious world of probabilities, this statement has more truth value than we are willing to admit. Struck by lightning proposes that all that is separating you from the rest of the world is a mere seven steps.
Every random face, every stranger on the street in a foreign country on a foreign continent is probably around seven steps away from you, (or maybe even less).

From kids playing tunes on kazoos, didgeridoos, stylophones, casio keyboards or harmonicas to music covering almost every genre from 50's rockabilly, 60's motown, 70's disco, 80's electro, 90's club, 00's dub, funk, hip hop, jazz to folk, metal, reggae, latin, contemporary christian, electro, techno, trance, dance, ants in yer pants --- shall I go on.....almost forgot... I was not influenced in anyway by karaoke !
