I've been making electronic tunes since '98, starting with trance and hard house. Before that I played guitar in various bands that never went anywhere. It was mainly rock/metal/thrash back then but I got fed up of having to rely on other musicians so I started using computers to create backings to jam to and the Prodigy finally bridged the gap, seducing me into dance music in '95.Over the last 3 years I've been more focused on drum and bass and collaborating with other artists to expand my musical horizons.  I enjoy producing all genres of music, but Contayjen represents my solo drum and bass.

I'm also still working on my second solo dnb CD, entitled Breakthrasher.
