I was searching for this on google... Fantastic.
thanx for the comments fellows! Your stuffs are ....ing greats And more of all, I'm so happy to find a band which deals with Fila brazillia in their references!! so keep up the good works, guys!
Well my friend I've just listened to both versions (old and new) and the extra clarity of this one is immediately noticeable. A great improvement in the quality of the finished article (and the track's as good as ever too!) Graham
Mental..that little section before the female vox is class. I wouldnt normally go for this kinda track..but as ACE said below..I found this very interesting. Its like Dave Burbeck v.s Basement Jaxx for some reason to me. The bassline is really addictive..I reckon I could use that in a track..its really strong. What did that sample say?? "hey, marijuana?"..class if it did. The percussion is also very catchy..simple but always effective. Cant believe I aint checked this before..cool track guys, peace.
Not my style really but I had fun listening this track. Excellent production... another fine example of pot does you good, lol. Nice one:)
this song is great. i am sure the lyrics have some deep philosophical meaning, do they?
My kind of song mix of styles and wit to keep you guessing, you should check out Patchanka from Denmark.
Crazy but brilliant, it takes balls and talent to write a tune like this. Evidentally you are not lacking in either department - Great stuff
Love this and the video too.
Good production, I couldnt get into it though. Pot references arent enough :)
Congrats on making #1 on the offical chart this week guys, hurry up and get back here! Much love, Rainy xx
Oh yeah. My new favourite band. Nearly turned it off, then got sucked in. Freaky deaky. Is Fungus Mungus a reference to ICU's 'Fungus Among Us'?
10 of 10...Brilliant!! Cannibus Cup? Count me in!...Merle
Anything with The Jetsons in it is fine by me!
What a find! You guys are obviously crazy - but in a good way. Love it!
Over 6 months on & still lovin' this fantastic, timeless classic ;) Clive
Boom boom in the room. Excellent
TRE-MEN-DOUS :)
repeat after me - TRE-MEN-DOUS
This is a strange, but fun and funny track. I like it. Very cool, I dig the latin jazz influences. Upright bass rocks, trumpets are awesome. And the lyrics made me smile. All wrapped up in a shiny, well-mastered sound. Good work, sorry for taking so long in getting around to listening to you guys.
Thanks for all your comments folks, Big Yourselves Up... It makes it all worth while...Bom Shanka
deserves to be no1 in the charts,,and i,m glad it is :o)...great track :o) 10/10 Howsie (lazy daze)

You can keep coming back to this and 'Get yer groove on' instantly. As superb and 'Grooooooooooooovy thang' as when I first let in flow into me ears. Brilliant
This track matures and gets better everytime you hear it. I still have disturbing visions of the video ;). Showing my support again for this amazing band!

Wow, That is strange. I"m totally down with strangness. Congrats. 8/10
A very unique and fun track. all the percussion blends perfectly
Very proffesional production ! I hope somebody picks up on your music cos they are too good to not be big hits. Original, funky and it made me smile, Awesome !
Wow! Can you say funkiness? Keep up the fungus mungus! 9/10
I find myself walkin around with the phrase 'get down with the fungus mungus' constantly wanting to come out my mouth. Is there a Los Guys Betty Ford Clinic? Gotta love it, propellerheads and shirley bassey scared off now I reckon.
I like this because it reminds me of Santana (whom I like) and my dads old record collection (which is nostalgic). I must admit that I didnt 'get it' until I heard the Macarana sample, but that just blew me away, the timimg and post modernist statement that the sample made and the way it dissolved the ego fired lyrics. Very good and better than that other song I listened to earlier by a worserer band.
This is killer- jazzy, funky and a really refreshing break from the norm. Scandalous if this doesn't make it big...
Cool I like this track is so different. I wasn't too keen at the start but it grows on you and comes to life after about 30 secs. Fantastic!

Ever wondered what Los Guys would be like live? Well so did we. So after shaking up the songs in rehersals for a while, we played our first gig on the 25th of May 2004 @ the Bradford Walkabout, (mate). It was Naths first time on stage, and for Chris & Jim, it had been 5 years or so, since playing live. A new addition to Los Guys, in the form of vocalist, Marf, who at the time, had only been with us 2 short days, was to make this a very interesting night. You can catch the Video on the link below. What did you think? Want to write a review? Please leave us a comment.
Free entry. Kicks off around 8.30
After some years locked in the studio, Los Guys are now looking for bookings, watch this space for summer 2004 dates.
This is the stuff that dreams are made of. All of us probably know at least one fact about the Los Guys, and their epic rise to fame within the shadowy world of unsignedville, and strutting like strumpety trollops amongst the glittering, spangley, jangly lights of the Yorkshire stage scene, the universal chorus of adulation that roars it’s one unanimous voice of approval from the emboldened crowd
Shphunky by Los Guys Hello, good people! Tedd-Z is reviewing again! I could go into introductions of Los Guys, but I'm so impressed by this track, I want to get on with it! So... everything seems to work here! The lyrics are extremely catchy, the music is groovy, the structure is very radio-friendly (if you want things to be radio-friendly) and the quality is as good as it has always been with
For those of you who don't know me I'm an avid listener of new music and half of the duo Serenity here at mp3unsigned.com. Before I start I would like to say that I'm a fan of Los Guys anyway for there sometimes bizarre tunes, to very funky numbers. I was really pleased when Jim offered "Assassin" up for review. This is also the first live track I have had to review too, well
This is not my usual deal at all, but having given it several listens I find myself liking it a lot. The track has a nice melody and a nice poppy backbeat that’s light on its feet and gets even this aging body bobbing along with it. There are some nice subtle variations in and embellishments to the rhythm added here and there that add interest and reward the careful listener. The vocal is nice
Los Guys has a mixed response from me! Some of their tracks are pretty much classics (Get Down With The Fungus Mungus), while others I could easily pass! Still... you've got to admire their sense of humour with a lot of their tracks! Moholerhee (Stay With Me), is one of their more serious ones, but still has that Los Guys charm within it!
