Beta17 is the chromium-headed creation of Cincinnati-based Producer Edward Denton. From his work with funk legend Bootsy Collins, Beta17 emerges with tracks from his upcoming release "Aerodrome". The LP chronicles his arrival, his commentary, and his quest for Universal Sonic Non-Compliance. Having recently worked with Freekbass and Bootsy on the Gemini Records release "Freekbass-Body Over Mind" Beta17 draws on his vast and varied musical background (radio is just waves in Space) to bring us this funky/pop concept, performed and recorded entirely by Beta17. "stank ass, hellified keyboards..." Dr. Brookenstein "...funkafied synthesizers, a unique soundscape on which the groove is laid down..." -Sergio Ruiz, Village Buzz Columbus Ohio "masterminds a keyboard work that gives the robotically uptempo ambience of electric boogie..." Mark Armstrong, Vibe Produced by Beta17 for Kung Drew Music. Please visit www.beta17.com for news and information.
