◉ Urbane songs, simple, uncluttered yet beautifully structured
◉ Intoxicating, haunting vocals that often have a darker, even chilling edge
the dolls hail from Exeter in south west England and have been performing together for more than three years. They write and arrange most of their songs and have just completed a CD album.
Songs From A Dollshouse has eleven bitter sweet songs that reflect sadness, togetherness, vulnerability.... and hurt.
A single Ditch To The Green reflects all the Worrydolls songwriting sensibilities, delivered through stunningly ranged voices and interwoven guitars.
Worrydolls will play along side Steve Howe (the legendary guitar man with YES) at a charity event in Sandford Hall, Sandford, Nr Exeter, SW England. The local residents, which include Steve, are raising money to Save the Village Post Office! An extremely worthy cause. What an opportunity – and a far cry from such gigs as Madison Square Gardens (we refer to Mr Howe of course - you’ll appreciate that the dolls have yet to reach such dizzy heights!!)
