The Chambers (Soundtrack)
This is a stunning piece of music Andy, beautifully orchestrated and mixed/mastered to perfection. Your attention to detail is admirable in your music. A master of the strings and everything orchestral. Hats off to you Sir!
Superb....
Luvin' this, with the choirs & the dramatic edge to it, do well in a movie!, cool stuff:)
So AMazing! I am definitely recommending you on my page, you are one of my new heroes!
amazing piece man! definitely tells me a story. great composition. thumbs up!
Hi Andy, The Chambers is brilliant. To earn a crust I teach history and to me this piece sums the Holocaust up in music. As you may have noticed, animal welfare is one of my concerns and I couldn't but help linking it to the thousands of farm animals being transported to the slaughterhouse, each one feeling the fear as they line up to die as did those millions of people in the concentration camps. A really moving piece of music. Oh, I rated it by the way!
This should certainly be earning you a living, if it's not then there's something very wrong with the world. Outstanding. Incredibly intricate. Magnificent.
Hi, im only 19, and i actually considered myself a musician before hearing your stuff, lol! Your music is incredible! I wasn't even aware this was a proper genre before now, this has seriously changed my outlook on music all-together. Just brilliant man, you've really captured something powerful, thankyou for sharing this... incredible!
you do NOT mess around. your attention to detail is so appreciated. lovely change at the strings - nice big lump in throat resulted as the mood fades in aching sweetness and marches us toward the end. gosh - i wonder what your dreams look/sound like! i bow to your audio vision, anne
This is huge, Andy! Brilliant concept, professional production and performance, spellbinding. Rated!
from the beginning to the end . it made shivers up and down my spine. your one hell of a composer:O) id love to see this on a film erm like an old war film.. in which we serve... or saving private ryan ect. there loads i could think of.. one things for certain .. it deserves to be in a music composers hall of fame! rated!
Hi, Amazing! Yes, a movie immediately comes to mind. Beautiful interplay between instuments as well as build ups...symphonic! Rated. Cheers, Smudge from Smudgie
Epic ! This is a great tune dude, this needs to be in a movie quickly lol. Awesome work, niceone.
Not fair. This is awesome! Not to mention, the instruments sound realistic. Ugh, why can't I make music that has as much detail as this?? lol It's so great. I love it. There's absolutely nothing wrong with it in my mind. You got what you wanted with it and achieved a great amount of feedback. The only thing I'd have to critique, and the ONLY thing is the ending. It doesn't sound too much like an ending to me. It just stops I suppose. With a track as epic, and grand as this one, I was expecting with high brass and strings, with lots of cymbal crashes and stuff lol. Though, just because the ending isn't what I expected, doesn't mean the song isn't ruined because of it. I still love the song. I'm listening to it a second time right now. You and those articulations!! :D Definite Rating from me. Congrats on the chart place! You rock!
A bit of a more harrowing tone that part one, very suitable transition to a series of connected tracks. Great job, lovely orchestration - has the big sreen quality to it too. I thought the whole peice flowed very nicely. Wish you the best with these tracks Andy.
Stunning, stunning....and mibbi a little more. Has all the hallmarks of a musician who is write on his game. This is powerful work andy, and u deserve all credit for taking on board such a major production. The music takes off blindingly....such a strong intro section, and captures the mood brilliantly. I feel it steps out the mood slightly between 2;13 and 2;30, where it becomes a little too frantic. THATs just my opinion, and one that may well differ from others. All in all.....worthy of far far more than this site can give andy, but i give it what i can....C n N m8. sorry for the delay.
dramatic opus. very visual, the right stuff for a soundtrack. sounds like "lord of the rings" stuff to me. big battle coming on.
Congratulations #2 in the charts! Way to go Andy! Sorry I didn't have any nominations last week. Not sure why but back to put my votes in the hat this week! Enjoyed listening to this once again! Love what you do & who you are! Carol Sue :)
This is undoubtedly a great composition, but it doesn't capture the mood, it needs to be more melancholy. Its would be more suitable for a scene where the prisoners (those spared the gas chambers) are working together to plan their escape. However I believe this is a more accomplished piece than the first, so it gets a rate for this reason.
Awesome ....Wow. I'd love to do some tracks like this. I always loved the music in older films. Where they seemed to have a whole orchestra playing throughout the entire film. Conan the Barbarian springs to mind - some excellent music used in those films :)Just WOW .... :0 x
Stunning. Why can't you give us a chance and put out a duff track for once?? Lol.........a first class piece of music as alaways.
Top sequal Andy, once again it certainly brings to mind your chosen theme, really like the vocals at the intro, very full production with so much happening, almost hard to keep up with the instruments and percussion, piano and strings along with the vocal accompaniment in the mid section is very emotive stuff mate..one for my collection I think :)
Whoops, somehow I missed the middle part of the trilogy. As with the other two parts Andy, this is awesome. The orchestration sounds fantastic as usual but what really makes this piece for me is the drama and tension that the percussion builds, just perfect, so emotive. Love the piano as well, and those deep dark strings. Singularly each of these tracks is a masterpiece, but as a whole they make up something superlatives cannot do justice. Rated. Craig
You need to just walk right in to music studios, movie theatres, radio stations, schools/drama clubs even - heck, stand on a corner holding a sign: "Hear Me!" Your productions truly deserve to be featured in movies and such Andy. BRAVO my friend, Truly Bravo!!!
Wow this is a powerful piece of music, really backs up the subject matter. I think this is a bit of change of direction for you Andy, havent heard you do many uptempo type songs. Sounds fab! Possibly one of your best works! Excellent. Mark
It's certainly a powerful piece and a risque subject dear chap. I think the story behind the music worked for me in the last minute but i'm a weirdo so don't let that put you off. Magnificnet production... take a rate
have to agree with all thats been said - you got skills:)yup got the chills thing happenin...your best to date - only thing for me is ended a little too abrubtly - but excellent work Andy:)
Blimey another massive track, love all three of your last themed pieces, they all been stunning. Production wise all of them have been amazingly complex tracks an each one has been better than the last. Awesome, rated :)
a good follow up dude...got a very epic feel to it...good work all round could easy hear this in a action movie...a war film for sure :) good work dude thumbs up
Brilliant work Andy! Massive intro...just gonna listen for now! such a captivating piece of music! Fabulous work Andy! Easy R8! Easy nom!
fantastic work!!. What do you use to get such a rich orchestral sound?. And have you ever thought of sending demos to film and more so video game companies ... you have a level of quality in this genre that is truly amazing!!... I want and will be asking for cds of your music from you soon :)
Hi Andy, Great piece, very thought provoking and emotive, love the choir section. Top Rating & thumbs up from me! All the best, Sonya Stewart.
massive intro,it dosent let up,every instrument is strong and complements each other very well, really liking that glockinspiel type bell, this is a powerful piece of music goosebump stuff, prob you best to date, top stuff
WOW! powerful... thought provoking.... the different movements created such a cascade of emotions, lovely piano Andy during the middle section.... the strings tear at your heart... there are places where the music creates the illusion there is happiness in the story, but around the corner lurks the truth, the inevitable... really captured what you set out to my friend.... the last 5th of the track just builds a climax sooo well... just damned impressive... what can you say! BRAVO!!!!! this should sit at #1 on the week and rest firmly at the top of the genre chart as well!
Nothing I can add that hasn't already been said more eloquently than I ever could. Rated and nominated.
I'm completely gobsmacked. Have to agree this is the best thing you've done to date, with some fairly stiff competition. Parts of this reminded me of the soundtrack of Last of the Mohicans, which is an absolute favourite of mine. Astonishing and I am definitely having a download of this, thankyou very much!!!!!
As a piece of music this ticks all the boxes Andy........just fantastic. Kevin Mooney
Andy - this is marvelous, the choir are perfect, the drama in this is so real. There is a bittersweet feel to this just after the middle with the piano and vocals. The violins shriek in horror. Fantasticaly set and produced piece of work this Andy - deserves to be set against a real film. This should be lauching a new career for you. Love it - rated and nom'd.
Very ominous and foreboding. 10 on production and structure. Easily rates and noms!
Epic with a capital 'E' Breathtaking stuff Andy.
Well I think that I can't really add much more to what has been said below about this powerful and very well constructed piece, all I will add is that I think your music just keeps on improving Andy, getting better and better all the time...great stuff my friend! Just back from hols,, so will get around to listening to what I have missed as soon as I can. Mark.
woah the intro so loud and powerful, andy this one is givin me chills... FOR REAL!!! this is the work of a complete genius i mean the story in this track is magnificent, i can't even begin to tell u how professionally amazing this track really is. the structure is beyond most composers and ever planned so delicate to be perfect as the theme could ever be. from the bells to the choirs and drums to the orchestral instruments timing is perfect. little rythmic blurts from different instruments come in here and there as the drums move... i swear it sounds like an epic rush however the track takes its time feels like this massive buildup. BRASS I LUV BRASS and u use it so much in this one for real power, violins and strings for the hooks into the next parts where the bells and french horn/trombones take off and finally a moment to breath as the piano comes in... and HOLY i swear that melody is wonderfully written as the piano plays with strings and choir. as the brass builds in and strings the drums all come in back wonderfully. all these breaks and hooks drums coming in and out... rythmic blurts and all the dynamics really do give an impact as it feels like the melodies are trying to run away but they really are trapped. the track tells such a story, really moves the listener onward and the piano and its calmness was also one of my fav parts... nah i loved the whole thing, i enjoyed this track .... three times, lol i really hope this one does well in the charts next week... for now all i can do is Rate it! awesome track... sounds sooo real and soo pro... FOR REAL! Matt
Wow Andy!!! This starts out so magnificently powerful that my hair is standing on end for the whole show. There is so much to say about it, from that haunting soprano which is sooooo evocative of the wails of the victims, to the incredible death-march interludes with fantastic percussive accompaniment....to the eerie strings and piano sequences where the drum pounds like my heart in fear....Journey of Death was great....this piece is about 100 times more powerful. Beyong a shadow of doubt, it is your finest ever piece of music Andy...utterly compelling!!! Nomination!!!
Hi! I have been interested in music since an early age and now enjoy making tracks with the various software available.Such as Edirol, EWQLSO and my new addition, Miroslav Philharmonik which has some strings to die for, all this sequenced in Fruity Loops. I now seem to concentrate on composing Classical Soundtrack material. I also enjoy rearranging tracks in collaboration with the awesome talent on show here. Please stop by anytime and enjoy! The Chambers album has been accepted in the Music Dept of the National Library of Israel and hopefully will be added to the holocaust museum there.

I really enjoyed the melody. Loved the flute.... more than the bass :)
If I had my music software working, I could put my finger on it, but overall, just loved it!
Seeing as how I have been completely laid up for the past two doing doing nothing but honking into a handkerchief and spluttering like a man drowning (Ed: just a seasonal cold, tut tut poor reviewer), it seems appropriate that I should come riding back into the fray on orchestral wings. On second thought, after that sentence, maybe I should just go back to bed. Andrew Foyston (to give
Valour and Honour – Andy F- Essence Review Well, what can I say? It’s a huge track and no one can deny! Huge sounds, very dramatic indeed! I’ll try to skip the obvious comment of “this should be in a film” because it is obviously your intention Andy, to make your tunes fire the imagination and conjure up all kinds of themes and scenes to which your tracks could be impl
This an immensely dramtic and emotional piece of music. It's actually difficult to think where to start. The beginning is probably the best place. The haunting melody at the beginning truly sums up the emotion I can only imagine would be felt by prisoners being taken to the gas chambers. The bells add a nice touch, hinting to everyone that death is close. You can almost smell the mud and
Andy wondered if i was up for classical pieces when he submitted this for review! Good news is, yes I am! I have always loved orchestration, as does everyone if you really think about it. Whes used to it's full scope, 'classical' music fully captures and envokes all the feelings and meaning that modern music strives to recreate in different ways. Andy's 'The Last Galleon' does just that, the sus
T'was brass monkey weather time, three years ago, I reviewed a track called Di Da Mix (October 2003) and although liking its content (a little), disliking its production (even littler) and thoroughly berated the composer to get serious about his sound. AndyF (yep, you guessed it) obviously did because as many of you know, he's been in here plugging away ever since and btw, he did get s
Currently number one in MP3 Unsigned's Official chart, DHGC is a collaboration from two artists I have come to know very well, one for a very long time and one I've met within the last year. I first met AndyF a million years ago on another site when I reviewed his first track Di Da Mix (October 2003) and liked it. That hasn't always been the case, not because Andy isn't a good musician
Call me a sycophant if you like, I just don't care. I am bowled over by the undoubted talents of Andy F, and his latest track, Tears, is no exception. Building his orchestration around the superb vocals of Amy Caldwell, the loving care and attention given to this crisp and professional work is evident from the outset. It's always easy to eulogise over great songs and, naturally, personal taste c

ONE NOTE FIRST - “Although I am not totally into classical music, this song certainly has made me become interested in it. Fantastic score, fantastic instruments, fantastic feel to the song – HIGHLY RECOMMENDED” Review – Starting off smooth, the piano work done at the beginning is great, although could have been uplifted a bit to hear it a bit better, but with all the other instrument work
