Just my morning
Touchin base tonight, your songs touch people, just not enough..
Thought I would re-live one of the best songs ever. yes, I'm a bit biased, but it doesn't get any better than this. take "bad romance" and put it where the moon don't shine. Just my opinion, but that's just my mornin......
Great track - loved the slide.
i liked this , enjoyed the guitar work and the vocal style
Hi Crock. Spot on! great song great musicianship and a great sound. Well done, I am still around by the way, just been taking a back seat for the last 6 years! Keep it up mate. Stuey!
Very nice track, great lyrics, has real emotional depth and very well sung, recorded and written. Very strong arrangement. I love the production, very crisp, clean. I also like the title of the tracks, it shows a great amount of thought coupled with the lyrics. This is what real talent is all about. I hope you continue to make great music so that one day we could hear it on the radio.
Love that guitar
Damn Right, I almost forgot about this one, Great Song Great Artist.
That's some damn fine slide blues son.
This is one of my favorite songs ever! EVER! What a great artist... I don't if he was ever signed but if not he should have been! Eric

Just my morning... Fantastic production, fantastic lyrics. Most envious. Keefy B ACZ
Thanks, Craig, for the supportive comment on my song.. Like your song very much...'just feed me wine to keep me sober' made me smile and think of 'balances like a mattress on a bottle of wine..' (Dylan) Cheers, G.
The man who "keeps it real!" From the woman who gives "real compliments" to him! Bravo!! :)
What a brilliant track and love the guitar riff in the chorus. The metalic dobro sounding slide is great and lifts the track. Definately a case of less is more but can't stop listening to this. Brilliant and rated.
Come on you slide fans, this song isn't just for 2008, it's to be enjoyed for all of '09 too. Again, thankyou Craig!
Genius!..no I won't try.... :)
Hey Craig! Just surfing around on a day off from work and had to tell you again how great this flippin' song is! You don't know how many times I'm driving down the road and it randomly comes on the ipod and then it gets played over and over again. Such a soulful song that encompasses so many feelings. My favorite find on this site to date.
Gotta have more of this, been here before and this keeps getting better! Great at what you do! Vin
Wow! Great playing Dude! Love the slide! You're vox is spot on for this track. It needs nothing. All buttons mashing hard!

Lovely evocative stuff. Nice vocal delivery and exemplary playing.Superb
Well Craig, you just keep on producing songs like this and over the years I've grown more and more into your sound. Now it sounds faultless and I just hear the song without prejudice, it's like like listening to someone in the family. Beautiful track.
Had to back to this one! Love the production and delta influuences here Craig. How did you get that cool echo deep sound on the guitar riff...wet wet...love it.
lovin it!
cool guitar, great mood, voice has real depth and a story to tell
Man, I can't figure this website out. I wanna thank you from the bottom of my heart for the comments you left us. Means a ton, truely. However, I'm dying to hear your music, but I can't figure out why some artist music play right away, but not yours! Is there a reason why?
I really like your blues, good sound and feeling on guitars, everything!/ Joni
Great job chanelling the delta blues with country shuffle overtones. Love the slide work, wish the instrumental track was a little higher in the mix. If you were going for a live feel then perhaps its the way it should be. Great vocal tone, very affecting and unique. Fine work my friend : )
I'm in total agreement with brother Steve, brother Craig here this is by far my fav of yours, allbuttons pushed Sir.
Killer tune.
what a great track!!! cool guitars and vox. rated Best Regards John

Awesome song, there! I like the strumming guitar. The lyrics stand out a tad too much but no worries. I enjoyed the song very much!
Stopped by for another shot of the crock. Never, ever disappointed. R and Tx.
Nice guitar skills my friend! Lyrics really fit in with the vibe of the song as well. Thanks for your comment on our song as well and yes the myspace was a bit cheeky! So we've got rid. Have a good day.
Very melodic guitar intro. Vocals sound stronger and clearer, do you have a new microphone? Very good vocal recording, sounds professional. Traditional arrangement, but doesn't sound old-fashioned. Class. Love it.
This is the real deal Craig. Sounds very sweet - great playing and mixed to perfection.
Guitars are lovely. Lyrics are superb as are the vocals. Im not a lover of all blues music but this I think is great and a very worthy number one. Well done and rated. Barry
late coming by to comment on this, but catchy chorus line, well performed and produced. Nice work and rated. Sonya Stewart.
Sounds the business Craig, love the slide sounds and when the vocal kicks in the package is complete, great laid back vibe, and thanks for the download..oh and congratulations for the number 1 spot, well deserved mate :)

Excellent trck Craig. Congrats on the no.1 spot. Yo Rogue
nothing sounds better than a good slide guitar. great stuff, good voice. top marks to you sir !
guitar sounding good, think this could fit well in a modern western or a coen brothers film, the drum has me tapping my foot, vocals and melodies all sounding very pro, like the blowing wind fx gives it a lost in the desert feel, top job
Hi Craig. Fabulous track with the double guitar. Deep south soul.Yu have a unique voice Craig which suits this Genre to perfection. This is quality man! Rated and a fat nom from me!! Take CAre Andy :)
I had a listen through your songs and came back to this one. Its pretty much in the style of the others in that its laid back and easy to listen to. However there's something about this that stands it apart for me. Maybe its because its the Blues, or maybe its just because its a special song. Anyway have a rate from me :)
Just a really great song, played with style, this type of stuff is quite timeless, well done :) Rated
Great to hear a good musician with a good idea. You do what you do so well. It's no wonder your so popular round these parts. Excellent bluesy song. Your timing and delivery are second to none, lyrics aint bad either:-) Regards...Scott
If this dont get me back my `mojo`, then nuthin will! Stuff like this dont come along often enough!, and to hear such, is purely inspiring. Craig, u have a voice thats just made to sing the blues man, and the guitar is just ....fkn brilliant. Ive been in the wilderness for a few month now, musically and mentally, but this will act as pure country medicine mate. On the trail of this brilliant track, im coming back. Rated, nomd and dl. Ur a talent mate!
Hey man..Love this!Awsome slide and rich acoustics.Nice job on the vox, too.Didn't know you played slide.I guess a guy learns somethin new everyday, lol.Really cool tune.
Ahh perfect man! WHat an intro, and love that deep rumble going on in the background. Adds to the tension! Great lyrics, great vocal, great playing, great priduction, just great all over. Faultless. Love that pure acoustic sound too. Gotta grab a download of this beauty, so thanks:) Rated & nom'd, Mark
Hi, Yes, great start. Love the instrumentation. Yes, classic blues sung with real power. Fantastic job in every way. Highly professional. Rated. Cheers, Smudge from Smudgie
ooooooooooo OUTSTANDING!!! great guitar and slide and lyrics, and SUPERB vox!
oh yeah! that was killer... man o man, that was a good vocal mix... I wish i could get that... really sounds rich and pro all the way... I'm well impressed Craig... super guitar playing... gets both treats from me, that should be a chart topper!
very profesional.all buttons pushed.
A big dose of blues, this is the real deal. "Feed me wine to keep me sober..." brilliant! Salty guitar, gravelly vocals and some sweet slide work, this one's a winner. Easily rated, Craig, great job man.
Loved the whole thing...vocal was great and I felt the despair. That ending about carrying on after surrender reminded me of people who are on a mission that ultimate fails so they turn the gun on themselves. Everything about this was classic blues and that's the kind I love best.
Great performance !! Lovin the slide guitar. Super vibe. The guitars really create a great groove... horse back riding... Nice percussion ;) Man I wish you lived closer, we'd be jammin ! Hans.
It's a beaut dude. Took a little thining about on the lyrics. Could be about slavery/racism or Katrina... prob missed the point as usual. Cool guitar sounds dude and the kick drum is perfect. Take a rate and a nom
Thanks for the comments,.... Wow,..your stuff is in a whole other world from mine. I wish I could get my vox to stand out in the mix like yours. Nice jam here.....
Damn Craig! This is what I'm talking about. Shame on me for not stopping by in a bit. "Just feed me wine to keep me sober". Love that line. Your vocals and lyrics are spot on. The tone in your vocals is perfect for this. Oh yeah and the slide, the sliiiiiiide! Might be my favorite guitar accessory. I've yet to sing over a track with one but can't wait until I do. Ironically, this is the first song I've heard on the site since getting back from New Orleans. HA! Definitely downloading a copy for the Midwest. I really liked the way you outtro'ed this fading out with the "That's Just my Morning". I'm so glad I stopped by. Made by day Craig! Thanks!!!
Real southern rock flavor! Sweet sounding guitar! Great picking and the slide is killer! Just the right amount! Vocals are classic Crock! Visions of Peter Gabriel standing on stage with his kickdrum! Nother chart topper here!
Love it! Great words and slide is like dam. You're voice is fantastic too easy rate eric
G'day Craig, oustanding! Just one of those sit back and enjoy tracks. Love your lyrics, and as Truj said, the delivery was top notch. Easy easy rate mate!
Guitar sounds great from the off. Amazing slide work, any adjusted tuning requirred for that? Lyrics are great, vocal delivery is expert. As previously noted, the kick drum is great. Easily rated. Artist Recommended. Track Nominated for the charts. This one is right up my street.

The new CRoCkmIstEr cd "swimming in air" is in final mix, due out in ???2004.
It has to be said that I do have a welcome mat out for Crockmister whenever there is something new on offer. Mainly because Craig Sofaly (aka The Mister man) is the kind of musician and songwriter who is thoroughly professional in everything that he does, whatever the genre. One of my video highlights of late has been the video he made testing out his new guitar sequencer on a new trac
In October 2004 I reviewed a track called Walking Between Two Worlds from a new musician to me at MP3 Unsigned. It was an absolutely knockout track in every respect, but especially vocally (I compared Craig's voice to both Cat Stevens (Yusuf Islam) and Van Morrison and nothing I have heard since has deviated one iota from that first knockout punch. This is one artist that is absolutely guara
Up for a review is CrOckMisTer’s new track; Just My Morning. This is my first review so if I make a mistake, I apologize in advance. I’m sitting in my motorized power chair in front of my computer speakers. I just downloaded the song and I’m about to press play. So here we go. We start off with a nice strumming guitar melody. Very laid back sounding and soothing. Makes me feel
I love drunken jam sessions... great musicians often complain about their technique being off when half pissed but there is a certain magic that comes through from the looseness. This track demonstrates some great accoustic guita playing. I was ver impressed from the word go, lovely easy vibe to it. The piece moves along at a nice pace, without being overly in your face. It's only after a bout a m
Next up is a from Craig (CrOckMisTer) called 'Summers Child' and we are into a folky/funky kind of laid back summer groove :) Now this track caused me many problems in this review because although I am trying to be constructive and actually really like the meat of the track, the melody, the singing, the playing etc, there are other aspects of it that really annoyed me, but how much of my own perso
Lullaby In Blue I'm no expert at the reviewing system and as a matter of fact this is the first review I have ever done. I hope to do alright by Craig and Deggsy with this review as I really want to express my feelings about this song in the most proper way. I have choosen to review "Lullaby In Blue" for the pure fact that this song draws me back to listen time and time again. Craig had once take
Crockmister has signed up for my reviews, and has been patient as it took me awhile to get to them. Firstly, showtunes, happen to be one of my least favorite styles of music. in general i can appreciate showtunes, but cant stand listening to them, peaking at musicals, which to me are extremely hard to sit through. Part of this is becasue my girlfriend is a ballet dancer and im dragge
This review is kind of thanks for reviewing my track and also a late review. A wile back I put some reviews up & Craig was one of them that didn’t get reviewed, not sure what happened think maybe it was a system crash or I could have just had something on where I missed the reviews. Anyways Craig has just asked another member if he could review this track and I noticed that the list was closed
very funky, as u said it would be. also great lyrics "i aint giving up on loving, im giving up on love" why did i think of that? good one.
Hello to one and all. This outing I’ll be pontificating about a tune by CrOckMisTer (with “ music and funkadelics by Deggsy”) entitled “Giving Up On Love”. In doing so, we will be delving into some funky soul.
Crockmister AKA Craig Sofaly is an MP3 Unsigned artist and one half of Deggsy & Crockmister, IMO possibly the best duo around right now. Certainly the slickest, anyway. They came real close to getting artist of the year 2005 from me and did feature highly in my year end review. Not bad considering the amount of tracks that went to form this high opinion. Artists that re
What a breath of fresh air. It has a definative style that reminds me of Tom Waits, but probably better in its delivery. The song itself is faultless, and this would be a product ,I would buy.
They say (who say?) that good things come in threes and that maxim certainly holds true for the three collaborations I have reviewed so far from this extremely versatile duo. Matter of fact, ALL of the tracks - Spinning Around (August 2005), Tired Of Being Poor (September 2005) and These Dreams Of Mine (October 2005) - have all got extremely high rating from me and 2 Recommendeds and a Must
Yep, yep, I know you are used to seeing Deggsy/Crockmister as the billing for this duo - especially after a cracking run of two blistering first tracks (Spinning Around - August 2005 and Tired Of Being Poor - September 2005). I'm just trying to keep you on your toes :D I thought Spinning Around was (and I quote) 'in-con-ferkin-parable' and that Tired Of Being Poor was 'impeccable'. As
Summer’s Child by CrOckMisTer CrOckMisTer (aka Craig Sofaly) is one of those MP3Unsigned artists who has been around d the site for quite a while and has established a faithful and enthusiastic following for his music (both on his own and with his collaborations with Deggsy). So much so that at the time of writing his artist page had received just less than 19,500 visits which, given that
I first came across this artist at MP3 Unsigned last October when I reviewed his Walking Between Two Worlds track. It still sits on my hard drive and still gets the occasional workout which says a lot about what I thought of the track. It's a very professional slice of music, with a vocal style that deserves wider exposure. Crockmister's style is a kinda/sorta cross betwee
Now here is an interesting piece of music that has crossed my path. I have always enjoyed crockmister’s music in the past, and when he asked me for a review I knew it would be good stuff. I was not disappointed. The song is "Jacob's Ladder"(2).
I guess I am sucker for the mid to low tempo trancy kind of folk. This is a beautuful song and I don't really see a whole lot that has to be done production wise if that is what you meant? Mesmerizing, comfortable, easy, nice.
The emotion of the Vocal is what I like the best about this song.
Another new geezer to me (and probably you too). This is a track I picked up over at MP3 Unsigned which is a nice place to hang out of a nighttime. That's the only time I'm allowed out anyway. Aaah, such are the joys of fatherhood... If I didn't already know about Crockmisters pedigree, this track would have knocked me on my ass. As it is, knowing something about the artist, it STILL knocked
This one’s beautiful, but it took a few listens to really strike home just how good it is. The intro to this song is unusually long, the vocal in fact doesn’t come in until about 2’30, but boy you don’t notice it at all. Over that two and a half minutes, you hear a wonderful dreamy and slightly melancholy soundscape unfold, with beautiful interplay between three different guitar parts over the t
