Chronos Child(ft Denis Couture)
So pure,deep and comforting...
Had to return to say this endures in my heart and is of highest excellence throughout...cannot say enough...it is exquisite!
Feel a bit underqualified to comment on such a stirring composition, suffice to say luvin' it.
Nothing beats parallel sixths in the upper part of a piano! I was actually thinking of making a piece that has similar features to yours funny enough. Beautiful piece Andy. Tritone suspensions are some of my favorites as well. I would love to hear this live because I can imagine the amount of expression you can attain with true human response. Great piece Andy! This has easily become one of my favorites. :) Rated!
A really really beautiful track Andy. The piano theme underlying it is excellent but it's the many many little touches you've added that really bring it to life. Excellent. Rated. Craig
Andy I have missed so much, this is beyond excellent,Thank you so much. Vin
Magical Andy! Unequivocally stellar piece of music! Don't think I've ever heard a bad song from your camp! Superlative! Enjoyed this!
Ah this is beautiful! I never doubted it wouldn't be. Very special track Andy! Thanks for giving me the opportunity to listen my friend. Very lovely! :)
supertouching piece of music, that's all i'll say, great job Andy! Mark
I enjoyed this piece so much ,plucking at the heart strings all the way. What a gift you have, you bring so much to the table. I would second Dave's comment on the piece suiting a final fantasy game its so beautiful. Thanks Andy & Denis on this stunner and congrats on the birth of Evie.
P:S Thank you for the download! This is so pretty! :)
Beautiful, simply beautiful! So very movie worthy!! I am so sorry I didn't see your email earlier to come listen to this wonderfully warm arrangement. I need to get back with the mp3unsigned program! I've listened a couple times now - so very beautiful! Congratulations at #2 in the charts! A nom from me now - hopefully it will reach #1 for this week! Congratulations as well with the new grandbaby! I look forward to pictures! Much love, Carol Sue :)
Ive played the piano since i was 6 years old. ive never been able to read music and played completely by ear and always dreamed of playing to this standard. Your music is truly beautiful and im often envious of muscians like yourself who put there heart and soul into there work and it shows, where thats very difficult and often impossible to do in dance music. You are a TRUE musician, composer and producer andy, who has me in tears every time i hear your songs. Your grandaughter will be so proud of this in years to come xx
woowww...this is just beautiful, that piano is pulling at my insides...actually, a lot of it is. To say this piece is brimming with emotion would not do it justice, this is audible love...just gorgeous. The mix is full and very dynamic, the strings are almost vocal. Just perfect. again, I say, wooowww......
Sorry Im late Andy and it's certainely my loss as this is truely stunning. Full of emotion and very beautiful. Cant say any other than I loved every moment of it. Congratulations on the birth of your grandaughter. Well done Andy and Denis for this awesome piece of music. Barry
Huge! Not surprising at all, coming from you, Andy, you always think "big" from the songs I've heard. Taking on the sea and the largest animal on the planet and pulling it off; I am impressed! Denis' piano is beautiful, and your accompaniment works perfectly, arrangement and production are right on the money. Even though it's a totally different genre, thematically and in scope I'm reminded of Mountain's "Nantucket Sleighride", probably just the idle daydreams of a land-locked Okie and a wannabe sailor. Excellent piece of music, and congrats on the new babe grandpa!
This is beautiful. It brings tears to my eyes. We all need a hit of new life, joy and magic. Thank you for bringing it here. What a great movie theme - a touching Christmas movie where family comes back together after the financial and emotional strife caused by a global meltdown, reminding us of what is really important in life.
This is such a breathtaking track. Cannot thank either of you enough for allowing a download of this piece. It will be enjoyed many time by this ole man I can assure you. All buttons mashed as hard as possible...Dan
Well it is very light and airy and is very accomplished in the genre. Nice work.
This just draws emotion from from all its elements....the Sea, The mystical whale, the innocense of child, and the joy in ur hearts. And, in my own present emotional state, it wells me up thinking about it all. Aint gonna ramble on....ive got to try and get thru this day !.....but yeah for sure this is worth a few gifts mate. Fantastic!
The beginning is a high pitched piano. Nice twiddling of the fingers, Denis! Those fingers are doing the job. Most definitely. The strings are so impressionable isn't not even funny. They seem to almost cause the piano to shine. Like a car getting it's wax. It gets bright and then dims and then brighter as we go. Nice flow and textures. The breathy effects in the background sound great with those clear strings. So clear sounding. Wow. I would love to hear this in a grand hall. Now the higher string comes in with a booming. That's a huge effect. I like that. It's almost like the booming is an introduction to life. This is beautiful. Very elegant and relaxing. The high strings add so much energy to the emotion of the song. Wonderful work with the rumbling hit. Great timing! There is plenty of alteration in the piano and nothing seems out of place. The high squeaking sound reminds me of a whale or some animal giving birth. Almost like a beautiful cry of pain as the enjoyment of life bursts out. It fades out into a nice outro of stringy piano bliss. Great job, guys! That sounded awesome. The rumbles were a nice touch. I had to turn my subwoofer up a tiny bit to get the full effect but other then that. Whoa. That was so soothing to hear. Acoustical wise... It sounds fantastic. The crashes and splashes with the rumbles and the timing of the hits with the strings and the piano going at the same time... WHILE having the effect of life coming into sound... I'd have to say that sums everything up. Wonderful piece. Keep it up! Happy Thanksgiving! And congratulations! Have an awesome day. Rated for sure!
Yes, this is most evocative of neew life and the sea...my guess was that the high pitch sound was a saw being played with a bow which usually sounds like this...very beautiful. The story of Chronos giving birth suits the music to a T....both of you have achieved synchronicity of spirit in music...bravo....every button possible is pushed
Been a while since I have had the time to have a listen to your music Andy, seems that I don't have much time for commenting on much here these days, but listening to this makes me relalise how much I miss and indeed enjoy it. Lovely track, and as you know I am one that enjoys melody and beauty, and this has it all. Congrats to Denis and you for a really excellent piece of music.
Lovely! Is that a real piano? Certainly sounds like it. Enjoying this very much as I type. Just needs a touch of thrash metal guitar ... no, I jest! LOL! Nice violin/viola solo at about 3:00. Congrats and hope mum and baby are well. Rated.
beautiful Andy and Denis! the piano has lovely tone and i like the strings in the first section, how they play back and forth with the piano... i also liked in the middle section the dynamic part that swelled or punched actually, just after the beat... that timing created lots of movement for me... and the hipitched sound Andy described, noticed that too... gave it that oceany feel..... nice piece to be proud of... and congrats on the new grandbaby Andy!
ps CONGRATULATIONS !!!
Beautful use of chords and Staccato notes I can hear the ocean, emotional and evocative a joy to listen to. Rated
depth and beauty in this piece as we have all come to expect from your productions, but always a pleasure to hear new offerings and i have plenty to catch up on. Congratulations on the new addition to the family ..literally and musically!
I like the touches of the subtle high pitch squeals - they add a surreal touch dude. Trying to work out what instrument made em!! Beautiful piece mister and best wishes to Evie and her parents. It'll be a piece of music to embarrass her with when she's 14 hee hee. No probs cos i'm sure she'll truly appreciate it a little later. Gosh it's finished. Rated
Lush and moving. Congratulations
Congrats on the birth on your grandaughter andy. The music is stunning. Piano melody is so soothing and sweet and so well constructed. The subtle strings that you have added are perfect. The music speaks volumes for what the aim was for the track. A real piece of easy listening, soothing quality music here. It reminds me of something that "Nobou Umetsu" (japanese final fantasy video game music composer) would come up with for a really amazing moment in one of squaresofts RPG series... Fantastic piece of music... Well done Dave
Absolutely brilliant and the music is so descriptive of new life. 6.47 passed so quickly and just left me wanting more. Beautifully played and orchestrated and of course congrats on the birth of Evie.
Hi! I have been interested in music since an early age and now enjoy making tracks with the various software available.Such as Edirol, EWQLSO and my new addition, Miroslav Philharmonik which has some strings to die for, all this sequenced in Fruity Loops. I now seem to concentrate on composing Classical Soundtrack material. I also enjoy rearranging tracks in collaboration with the awesome talent on show here. Please stop by anytime and enjoy! The Chambers album has been accepted in the Music Dept of the National Library of Israel and hopefully will be added to the holocaust museum there.

I really enjoyed the melody. Loved the flute.... more than the bass :)
If I had my music software working, I could put my finger on it, but overall, just loved it!
Seeing as how I have been completely laid up for the past two doing doing nothing but honking into a handkerchief and spluttering like a man drowning (Ed: just a seasonal cold, tut tut poor reviewer), it seems appropriate that I should come riding back into the fray on orchestral wings. On second thought, after that sentence, maybe I should just go back to bed. Andrew Foyston (to give
Valour and Honour – Andy F- Essence Review Well, what can I say? It’s a huge track and no one can deny! Huge sounds, very dramatic indeed! I’ll try to skip the obvious comment of “this should be in a film” because it is obviously your intention Andy, to make your tunes fire the imagination and conjure up all kinds of themes and scenes to which your tracks could be impl
This an immensely dramtic and emotional piece of music. It's actually difficult to think where to start. The beginning is probably the best place. The haunting melody at the beginning truly sums up the emotion I can only imagine would be felt by prisoners being taken to the gas chambers. The bells add a nice touch, hinting to everyone that death is close. You can almost smell the mud and
Andy wondered if i was up for classical pieces when he submitted this for review! Good news is, yes I am! I have always loved orchestration, as does everyone if you really think about it. Whes used to it's full scope, 'classical' music fully captures and envokes all the feelings and meaning that modern music strives to recreate in different ways. Andy's 'The Last Galleon' does just that, the sus
T'was brass monkey weather time, three years ago, I reviewed a track called Di Da Mix (October 2003) and although liking its content (a little), disliking its production (even littler) and thoroughly berated the composer to get serious about his sound. AndyF (yep, you guessed it) obviously did because as many of you know, he's been in here plugging away ever since and btw, he did get s
Currently number one in MP3 Unsigned's Official chart, DHGC is a collaboration from two artists I have come to know very well, one for a very long time and one I've met within the last year. I first met AndyF a million years ago on another site when I reviewed his first track Di Da Mix (October 2003) and liked it. That hasn't always been the case, not because Andy isn't a good musician
Call me a sycophant if you like, I just don't care. I am bowled over by the undoubted talents of Andy F, and his latest track, Tears, is no exception. Building his orchestration around the superb vocals of Amy Caldwell, the loving care and attention given to this crisp and professional work is evident from the outset. It's always easy to eulogise over great songs and, naturally, personal taste c

ONE NOTE FIRST - “Although I am not totally into classical music, this song certainly has made me become interested in it. Fantastic score, fantastic instruments, fantastic feel to the song – HIGHLY RECOMMENDED” Review – Starting off smooth, the piano work done at the beginning is great, although could have been uplifted a bit to hear it a bit better, but with all the other instrument work
