Moondust (The Soundtrack)
Hi Andy, I've been walking through the Mp3 Unsigned Hall Of Fame and it's great to see that this is currently the most popular Classical track of all time on this site with 24 votes. As always your production is outstanding. Anyway I've voted and this popular track is now on 25. All the best. PJ
Hi, Amazing. Really encourages imagery...can picture someone seeing the moom for the first time. It moves through various movements so beautifully. Lovely, well-crafted piece. Rated. Cheers, Smudge from Smudgie
An Outstanding piece of work. Have rated
This has a rather aggressive edge to it, a bit of a surprise for me. Of course there are gentle passages to counter the pizicatto strings and cymbal crashes. I'll rate this one as well :)
Rated too!!
This piece does evoke Luna into my mind. Quiet and mysterious... Excellent
Actually I think this would be great on a bbc documentary.......something like The Trials of Life or Life of Mammals.........or a space doc of course! Anyway it's very good indeed! Kevin Mooney
absolutely superb work. My imagination is going wild after listening to this. Its a very intence track and yet soothing in its own unique way. beautiful! execellent work xxx
very eerie. great stuff! ps. DAY548 who gives a fudge anyway! concentrate on making your own sick tunes not gunning others!
This is not classical music...this is electronic ambient
thanks for the comment andy. love classical music, this track is brilliant x
How i would love to be in your shoes. I love filmscore classical music, work work is both excellent and professional. rated ;)

gosh, this is fantastic, got it runed up as loud as possible in my earphones, i can no longer hear those nasty fireworks, this has truly captured the emotions of an adventure to outer space, once again you've hit it right on the mark! :D ratedand nominated abeey x
exnt stuff andyf...yes it took me to they plains just imagining travelling through time...I love where other artists can capture you and take you on a musical journey...and for that you get our ratings
Beautiful, Iv'e always liked certain types of "Classical" music, this fits that bill, it's atmospheric and well put together, a very interesting compostion which wouldn't be out of place in something like 2001, very nice Andy... good stuff mate!
This is amazing.. you are very talented Andy!! definately makes my imagination run away with me.. It gives the impression of Space travel... I love it!! you should write for films! Jennifer xx
This is really quite fascinating, really gets the imagination going. Tense in places with soothing backing synths. Quite refreshing and beautiful in it's simplicity. A rating for you too.
Andy - this is brilliant - one of your best. I can honestly say that this is classic FM / R3 quality - you should try sending your work to these people becuase I'd love to turn on the radio one day and hear this or your other work. Rgds. Mike.
Hey Andy! Sorry if I took way too long to see this. I've been busy with school. Listening as I'm commenting and this is VERY good. It has that "first man landing on the moon" epic feeling. It has a nice hidden, secretive atmosphere, most likely representing the vast space in outer space? There's something about it that I find appealing and I think that may reside in the melodies here. I like the rhythm of the snares/intruments as it plays nicely with the tone you created for this piece. Though, when I usually hear a piece that starts off low, dynamically, I expect to hear a dramatic dynamic change to FF lol. Though I didn't get to experience my ears being blown off lol, I find this piece appealing and the title fits it perfectly. Nice job Andy! Rated!
Back for another listen to this one Andy... so so very nice!!! Really enjoy your work!
Hi Andy! Sorry I missed voting earlier. Congratulations in making the charts with yet another wonderful creation! You are such a talented man! -rated- Bravo! :) Carol Sue
this song should've been rated higher on the charts, well you got my vote at least; beautifully done! Kid
amazing. this is like a journey all right. sounds like it should be in a movie score. very peaceful and imaginitive. one of your best.
Visions from Siolaris to Buck Rogers in the 25th Century were conjured up by this track......lol..........and the string 'stabs' made me think of a spaceship dodging a meteorite shower (exactly as paredefoe says), and then it quietens down to a '2001 Space Odyssey' moment........before the retro rockets fire just before the ending! I know, I know - keep taking the tablets! Another sup[erb Andy F creation.
superb work Andy, yet another great track for the reptoire! With the track I am imagining a shuttle flying through space effortlessly, on the way to land, but meeting a meteor shower on route, then passing through into the calm of space. Well thats what I see anyway :o) Another great piece, cannot fault this at all . ONAGER
very nice one! I enjoy the ambient soundscape you've constructed in this... sounding very pro & I definitely get that space/moon vibe from this. I visited the space center in florida earlier this year and I heard a lot of music during videos and exhibits that this would fit right along side. Great job! Rate + Nominate.
Vocal Samp Dj? Are we on the same track. confused me now my friend. Andy :)
opening is crazy with a distortred sounding pad thing that waves in. i really like that sound. the light vocal samp made me feel sad for some reason. this is overall a great track.rating from me
ANother excellent piece from you Andy! Once again the mood and feel you are trying to create comes off great. Love the middle section where its just the strings. (I was looking down at the moon as that part was playing!) yeah, this really puts you in that place! Amazing journey thru space! Youre a master at capturing any scene or scenario that you can dream up. Fantastic work! Mark
I love it! The start has the minimalist epic feel Jerry Goldsmith used on pretty much all his Star Trek opening themes, its absolutely perfect and magical for this setting. You really connect with the different emotions perfectly in your scores. Around 1:25 is brilliant, I get a very dizzying feel! And the little motifs in the strings ie 1:44 really make it for me, favourite bit! subtle yet striking.. you really should be writing for tv / film!
Awesome, awesome, awesome composition. So much emotion packed into one song. Erie yet beautiful. What an enjoyable ride!
EDIT TYPO: Glad that's not my normal genre as I could never do this like, this!!! i have a stupid sticky keyboard ;-)
Andy... man o man... what emotion this has! Brilliant it just flows along and can picture the symphony playing this piece... all the little details you put into your tracks certainly make a difference... and like Steve said the quiet parts are just so emotional... and the builds cresendo so nicely... damn you're good! really good! I've got a orchestral piece coming out soon but doesnt hold a candle to tracks like this... Glad that's not my normal genre as I could never do this lie, this!!! RATE an NOM is in order!
Thanks chris appreciate it my friend. Good to see your name in the Charts #6 !! Andy :)
Excellent music ........... quality ... chris
Ok, so I find it hard to relate to this pictures through music milarky. does that mean i dont appreciate good music ...No, It just means i listen to mysic on a personal level. This puts emotion into my head other than pictures. So i get the sense of adventure and the sense of wonder, but apart from that its a terrific piece of music. Would I say its your stongest. probably not but still beautiful and very enjoyable. Love the softer parts more than the builds very evocative. Great stuff Andy, Love listening to your chord stuctures and the roller coater you have started bringing to your pieces.Rate....yes Steve
The whole approach and execution is first class, Andy. I felt I was watching a film of the event from start to finish. Your use of percussion is absolutely perfect...not too much or too little (I adore that little drum roll and the huge timps) You should definitely start scoring for films....who needs traffic controllers anyway? rating and nom
Hey Andy! Another quality offering...you've certainly captured a sense of discovery and exploration in this one. Really liked the beginning, set the scene really well. It's up to your usual standard, sir. How do you keep doing it? Rated, Martin
Hi! I have been interested in music since an early age and now enjoy making tracks with the various software available.Such as Edirol, EWQLSO and my new addition, Miroslav Philharmonik which has some strings to die for, all this sequenced in Fruity Loops. I now seem to concentrate on composing Classical Soundtrack material. I also enjoy rearranging tracks in collaboration with the awesome talent on show here. Please stop by anytime and enjoy! The Chambers album has been accepted in the Music Dept of the National Library of Israel and hopefully will be added to the holocaust museum there.

I really enjoyed the melody. Loved the flute.... more than the bass :)
If I had my music software working, I could put my finger on it, but overall, just loved it!
Seeing as how I have been completely laid up for the past two doing doing nothing but honking into a handkerchief and spluttering like a man drowning (Ed: just a seasonal cold, tut tut poor reviewer), it seems appropriate that I should come riding back into the fray on orchestral wings. On second thought, after that sentence, maybe I should just go back to bed. Andrew Foyston (to give
Valour and Honour – Andy F- Essence Review Well, what can I say? It’s a huge track and no one can deny! Huge sounds, very dramatic indeed! I’ll try to skip the obvious comment of “this should be in a film” because it is obviously your intention Andy, to make your tunes fire the imagination and conjure up all kinds of themes and scenes to which your tracks could be impl
This an immensely dramtic and emotional piece of music. It's actually difficult to think where to start. The beginning is probably the best place. The haunting melody at the beginning truly sums up the emotion I can only imagine would be felt by prisoners being taken to the gas chambers. The bells add a nice touch, hinting to everyone that death is close. You can almost smell the mud and
Andy wondered if i was up for classical pieces when he submitted this for review! Good news is, yes I am! I have always loved orchestration, as does everyone if you really think about it. Whes used to it's full scope, 'classical' music fully captures and envokes all the feelings and meaning that modern music strives to recreate in different ways. Andy's 'The Last Galleon' does just that, the sus
T'was brass monkey weather time, three years ago, I reviewed a track called Di Da Mix (October 2003) and although liking its content (a little), disliking its production (even littler) and thoroughly berated the composer to get serious about his sound. AndyF (yep, you guessed it) obviously did because as many of you know, he's been in here plugging away ever since and btw, he did get s
Currently number one in MP3 Unsigned's Official chart, DHGC is a collaboration from two artists I have come to know very well, one for a very long time and one I've met within the last year. I first met AndyF a million years ago on another site when I reviewed his first track Di Da Mix (October 2003) and liked it. That hasn't always been the case, not because Andy isn't a good musician
Call me a sycophant if you like, I just don't care. I am bowled over by the undoubted talents of Andy F, and his latest track, Tears, is no exception. Building his orchestration around the superb vocals of Amy Caldwell, the loving care and attention given to this crisp and professional work is evident from the outset. It's always easy to eulogise over great songs and, naturally, personal taste c

ONE NOTE FIRST - “Although I am not totally into classical music, this song certainly has made me become interested in it. Fantastic score, fantastic instruments, fantastic feel to the song – HIGHLY RECOMMENDED” Review – Starting off smooth, the piano work done at the beginning is great, although could have been uplifted a bit to hear it a bit better, but with all the other instrument work
