hot stuff, very good muic, well produced, excelent vocals
Awesome track fam the game needs more of this
fantastic track....i love this music
Hi, This is great! Love the swing beat which hooked me in right from the start. Very catchy. Amazing lyrics ...so glad they are posted...intelligently written and tell a good story. Great collab to you both! Rated. Cheers, Smudge from Smudgie
Production is tight and clean and the vocal is well performed. Great collab guys.
This great. Production is magnificent. Vocal is spot on. Everything just fits. Outstanding. Easy one to rate.
I remeber when blunt had the beat up a while back, already said how cool that is now for the vox, yeah you do sound like beastie boys, lyrics added to that 80's flare, where's the mention of Biz Markie??? Lol, anyways the reverb on the vox also gave that old school feel so don't worry about those bad comments on it, good job guys.
Sounds like the vocal was done in hallway with that reverb on it! But..sall good! Backing track is solid especially with the brass samples but found it lacked a certain punch! Was waiting for a flurry of expletives which seems so prominent in this genre but they never surfaced...thank f*** for that! ;) Good collab guys! Enjoyed this!
seem ages since i came by your page...suppose its the same for yourself with mine/our stuff...vocal performance i think u done really good...for me your best vocal..backing is very tight...but not enough in it for it to really get me up....also not much of a fan of hip-hop/rap but vocal performance is very well done...good use of samples by the blunt man but i feel hes not done enough... the vocals out shine the backing track...quality beat but the musical samples just not enough and not enough changes..but i love the vocal and the style of the vocal thumbs up
Hi Guys I too have to admit I usually shun away from Rap but this is a very good sound. Love the beat and the sax is delicious in the background. Rated for sure nice one! Take Care Andy :)
the beat is nice. Some great usage of the sax sample. i like your vocals a lot steve, and they work here. My only concern is that it stays at the same note for almost the whole tune. I would have liked to hear some more variations on the theme vocally. Sort of how your doing on our collaboration. anyways its great man
Really liked it, had no problems with the rap at all, thought you handled it remarkably well to be honest. Still love the original instrumental track as well. All in all a complete success for me :) Rated
b mans beat is feckin class, sounds like the older style of rapping, honest opinion the rapping does sound good but im no rapper, its got a bit of a beasty boys, goldie looking chain flow to it,think youve done well my hats off to you,
Not a rap fan but I reckon you did ok on the vox Steve. There were stretches of vox that came over very singular melody wise and I would have tried to attempt some melodic change to keep the interest of dudes like me. Also I reckon less-reverb on the vox would work also. Rap is very punchy in delivery (IMO) and the reverb didn't help this.
rated!
sweet rapping dude defo hear some old skool vibes in this.. and that sick beat from bluntman is just kool.. nice fatbline carrys it on .. defo got my vote!
Nice funky start. I was one of those that said rap would not last... that was 10 years ago. It has, and I hope will continue to evolve. It's now something both better, and worse, than it was then. I can count on one hand the rap tracks I like. The lyrics here are great, the beat has a nice funkyness I like. I still like your other stuff better though :)
this sounds really great. beats and backgrounds sound mint. vocal tone good. 1st time at rap, it certainly dont sound out of place, nice work, great collab.,
Excellent! 70's inspired and really well delivered. Kevin Mooney
Right..firstly I have to say that Rap isnt my thing, but as always trying to keep an open mind, and approach this with some objectivty..I'm actually impressed, probably because the rythm/backing has to me a nice funky/reggae type feel, which I like a lot. Vocs are great, and come across really well, and I stayed until the end..now thats a result for a rap or Hip Hop track for me..so you gotta get a big fat rate for that ;-)
Nice track, very smooth. Very enjoyable but then I am a sucker for rap if it's done well and this is. No expert in this field but everything sounds sweet to me.Rated, Barry
I've always said that rap is poetry with a great beat and idf it's good honest poetry then its good rap...this is good rap and at times it was very funny too. Haven't been moved to nominate lately...til now...great and enjoyable stuff guys!
This was a very nice listen for me...Grest work with the beat.Really enjoyed. JAY DITHERS

I once heard that the worst thing you can tell and A&R rep is that you are the "V Word" or in other words Versatile. They claimed you should find your niche and stick with it. Unfortunately, I fall into that category because I write and sing on many different styles of songs. I can't help it. Maybe that means I don't have a shot. What's the difference really? Music to me is about expressing what's inside your soul regardless of genre in hopes that you connect with the listener. So on that note, I sing and write Rock, RnB, Rap, Acoustic, and whatever songs I feel in my soul. I hate it when I hear musicians say, "This is all I'm good at" or "This is all I know how to do". I never agree because you could easily flip burgers if you choose to. It's just the cool thing to say to make people think you are so dedicated to your craft. But maybe I'm just envious because I wish this is all I could do. So anyhow, take a listen and hopefully you connect with something that I connect with. Thanks for stopping by and the following is a brief history of a no-name in Rockford telling my stories:...
Larry Lane has just signed a licensing agreement with MTV for their upcoming 2007 season. We don't know what songs/shows yet but will keep you posted.

LARRY LANE and their funk infused rock/pop endeavor has landed them a BEST NEW ROCK RAMI NOMINATION for 2005. Vote for them at www.ramiawards.com PEACE!
Larry Lane is a name I'd seen crop up a few times in the Official Chart, but up until this review, much to my shame, I hadn't checked them out. In fact, such was my ignorance, I never realised Larry Lane were a band named after a neighbourhood rat. Truth be told, I thought it was, well, a bloke called Larry. Anyway, the band don't waste any time trying to hide their influences. Two li
You can see the infl;uences of this track shine right through from the neggining, which is no bad thing. The tracks has a lush feel to it with a nice melody which holds you interest and got my feet a'tappin#:)The vocals are well delivered with a distinct sound that weave well with the music. The recording quality is a great and it comes across as a commercial track which you could well see being p
So Many Things - Larry Lane reviewed by DJ DAH Where do I start? Toward the end of the track I was starting to move my body this track oozes style and I can imagine this playing in a bar or something of that nature, where everybody starts tapping their feet and all the girls shaking Ass. Me being a trancy-dancy dude I actually like this track. I can tell it is soulfull. definatley a thu
firstly the lyrics are hysterical and are well worth the listen in itself. particualarly i found the little panned left comments that come in and out which have the feel that its an audience member reacting to this white guy talking crazy talk. i laughed and smiled throughout the tune. im not a huge fan of the melody. but im a huge fan of the structure. the musicmanship is second to n
Third time around for MP3 Unsigned's Larry Lane, and I think he hopes he will fare better this time. Well, I hope so too. This is not to say that the two tracks I have reviewed of his aren't any good - just maybe not my style. I must say though that Broke and Lonely (December 2006) was much more my kind of stuff, it being pretty much a standard blues track and I do have a very so
Let me just say again that Mp3 is full of interesting and very capable artists, and the Reviews that I am doing is just my perspective. There is alot of genres that i know little about, and would never presume to be an authority on. So this is just how I see them So first off with this review, Larry Lane has listed himself as a band but it would seem reading that the band is Steve Lindsay, wh
Although I didn't quite get on with Larry Lane's last track Amnesia (November 2006) there was more than enough going with the track to want me to delve further into this MP3 Unsigned rock artist. Where it scored with me was in production values and performance capabilities because - if I were honest - the song didn't really do a lot for me. Still that's often the way with rock music, s
Larry Lane, although sounding like a character tailor made for Superman, is in fact a band who make - and I quote - 'naughty pimp rock to shake that ass' Yeah, oooerr missis indeed. Still anything that features the word rock is usually fine by me, there isn't much in the genre that really gets on me tits. I'm not sure though that band fits Larry Lane because the bio on the pages talks
Musical/track structure The structure of this track is standard industry structure, bar the ending where there is a play on the opening of the track; this is useful for a “mid-album” style track. The structure of this track has little diversity off normal style pop/indie/commercial rock. I don’t find structure being a strong point of this track, but without its due course the track wouldn’t be abl
Larry Lane – Amnesia O.k, so I am rather blown away by this track – It is superb!! I can’t find one fault!! I don’t really know a lot about Larry Lane, but I have a feeling I will do from now on. This track makes me want to be at Glastonbury, rolling around in the grass, taking in the sunshine and Pear Cider…and wailing along to “Amnesia”. I really could see your sound attracting
First go at a review for a while, but here goes, good luck to us all :o) Larry Lane? Who is this mysterious figure? Is he a soul singer, a pop singer, a rock singer! Well none and all, as 'he' is actually the neighbourhood rat! Now the background of this group, I know not much of, I know Steve is the vocalist (well I think he is, but from now on he IS Steve ;o)), and as fo
First thing i'm wondering is what's 'naughty pimp rock'? Lets find out...
Doesn't take long to realise - pimping bass, naughty rythmn, beats and rocking lead riffs! Not to mention the combination of all three in the vocals.
Larry Lane - FALL BACK Well, well, another cellar-dweller, although this band produces far sunnier work than I could ever do, locked away in isolation without any natural light to speak of. But don't, for one second, feel sorry for me. On with the review. Funk, rock and even elements of soul collide here to produce a fully cohesive song, presented in a clean style that rocks along just nicely.
The opening sequence has a terrific guitar riff which teases the listener with a smattering of drum rolls and then a high hat is introduced that slips us into the great 'dance beat'. The vocals come into the frame at this point and.....WOW! what a professional sound ths talented group have and they must sound awesome 'live'. The second phase settles us down into a cool continuous beat and the fee
