I first fell in love with music because of my mother. She used to play old school music while she would clean the house. I fell in love with hip hop when I was about 8 or 9 years old while watching BET’s “Rap City: Tha Basement,” hosted by Joe Clair and Big Lez with my brother. I wrote my first rap in 1996, and I had my first performance at my local high school talent show. My friend and I performed Coolio’s Grammy award winning song “Gangsta’s Paradise”. Years later I fell even more in love with hip hop when Big Tigger became the new host of Rap City: Tha Basement. While in high school, I would do freestyle ciphers occasionally. I didn’t take rap seriously until I was in college. While attending Mississippi Valley State University, I met a fellow artist by the name of Denali who introduced me to FL Studio. FL Studio also known as Fruity Loop is a computer software application that allows you to do music production. Every since Denali taught me how to produce beats I started taking this music thing serious.

I would describe my music as being every emotion that you have felt in your life. It’s pain, its love, its war, survival, its fun, its serious, its playful, its hood, its gutter, its gritty, its grimy, its heart felt, it’s timeless. My music gives you that old school 90’s feel of hip hop. My music is reminiscent of the time where hip hop talked about social issues in the community and home, mixed with the new school flashy, party, crunk, and hood feeling. My music will take you on a roller coaster ride that will leave you wanting more when you are done.

My songs are about pain, love, war, survival, having fun, and stunting. My songs are about fashion, women, money, cars, clothes, pretty much the American Dream. My songs are also about social and economic issues in the communities and home. I write about family issues, work, environment, all obstacles, and roadblocks that may be thrown at you in life.

I’m influenced by so many different artist such as: Micheal Jackson, 2pac, Biggie, UGK, R Kelly, Twister, Do or Die, The Ghetto Boys, Master P, The Hot Boys, Lil Wayne, T.I., Ludacris, Three Six Mafia, Playa Fly, Pastor Troy, 8 Ball & MJG, Fabolous, Jadakiss, Busta Ryhmes and Outkast.

My career goals that I want to accomplish are to become the hottest rapper in the game, and top the billboard charts. I want to become a major success internationally as well as in the US. Another career goal of mines is too make the top 5 rappers list dead or alive and become one of the top artists ever. In ten years I see myself owning a record label developing some of the hottest new talent in the world. I also see myself owning my own clothing company, and my own shoes. I want to star in blockbuster movies, and last but not least I see myself being very active in my community. I want a charity of my own that raises money for the needy.
