Hey, Nice Page!! Just wanted to let you know about my BRAND NEW SONG '' Why I Should Be Your Girl '' Please Rate It! Leanah
Lovely tones and superb finger work. There are tons of "successful" bands out there with guitarists that don`t have a fraction of the talent displayed here.Awesome.
nice. i like very much.
awsome yet more sweet guitar melting keys from iodine :D
Stunning track and every rating was truly deserved, and here's another one from us. Thanks for visiting our page and realise that it was the title of the song that lured you!!!

I'll tell ya Brother Rich, your speed and accuracy is just sick bro. My fav of yours.
I love this.A bit of Floyd sound at times.Love the guitar tone and scale patterns...Nice track for sure.the drumming is quite good...
Thank You for the comment. There hard to come bye.Your Tunes are Very interesting and orignal!Well produced.Did you recored with logic pro
Enough surprises to keep it interesting till the very end. Very nice tune! I bow my head for your mad playing skills.
This is a nice track with some great guitar playing in it. It has a good groove and the changes of tempo keep the interest going. Good job.
Oh shucks RDM beat me to my WOW lol. Cool intro loads af feel good vibe terrific guitar and the overall instrumentation is hot. The piece holds a quality of sadness within it that is pleasant to witness and understand with the "toned down guitar instrumental". All in all a terrific composition, good work, and worthy of being rated so high. Cheeers, Clive aka Spyda/Seven/Taurus Project etc
Wow, this is some real serious part of music. Builds like a movie soundtrack....got lots of energy and moods in there. Great piece! Really awesome guitarwork and then this background soundscape to give it a massive sound! Cool stuff!!
Don't remember the Bay City Rollers doing anything like this! Excellent. Has a bit of the Steve Hillage about it for me, which is meant as a real compliment. You can certainly move those fingers across a fretboard not just quickly but melodically. Nice work. Have a rate and a recommend.
Nice guitar work on this one, the backing music to it is good too, but really great work on that guitar! well done :)
amazing guitar work really like this song alot!
i missed this one? sweeeeeeeeeeet!
Not much to say that hasn't already been said! ... other than this track takes me somewhere, dont know where ... but a better place for sure! great production .. the difference between a good engineer and a ....in good engineer is that one takes all the dirt out, the other organises it!
The guitar playing on this is outstanding. The gutar sound is nothing short of awesome. Hints of Steve Vai/Satriani in there somewhere, but they never sounded this good :) certainly gets my vote. Magnificent.
Great guitar work!.has a great melody to it....I think it would sound great with some vox....I might even have a go and see what I come up with ;).....excellent work...gets my rate.
like the floydy guitar at the start and then the excellent solo after it this is amazingly produced you are a first class guitar player and all round artist if you dont get a deal from somewhere i will tear up all my own music and take up golf...rate from me...stevy.y..bone Degree
The only thing that comes to mind is "f**kin yeah". great technique. great sound.
i know it's been said below but i'm def hearin steve vai's flying in a blue dream album in this ( which is good ) and also some of eddie van halen's more chilled stuff ( twister soundtrack ). like it !
Extremely tasteful guitar work, puts me in mind of Messrs Vai, Beck and Satriani with the whole heart rending searing gut wrenching axe fondling-ness of it all. Love it, great stuff.
Pure class. A delight to listen to. Rated - like you need any more ratings!
good guitar sound and playing, keep on rocking I rate it twice but is only one.
hey thank you for the comments over my page.. 2nd love that guitar playing most kool dude .. rolling melodies the track throws very uplifting to me sweet mix rated!
Awesome intro! wicked guitar...very atmospheric..cool ending...fantastic mix - nice one!! =D
This sounds like something a Metal band might put in their album to chill things out a bit, I'm thinking Testament. It shows off the technical skill of the lead guitar player to good effect without taxing the other musicians too much. However there is a natural progression which keeps the tune interesting througout, as one part seamlessly leads into another. Definately deserves a rate for that fabulous guitar work.
licks supreem wish i could play as good as that! (probably should buy a guitar first eh?) Excellent work, a great collab
Simply superb! This is ART!!!!!!! Beautiful m8.
This is One giant piece of music, everything rocks on this, your all GREAT! I only wish I could rate it again! Vin
Those art. Harmonics at about :48 made my hair stand on end. Love it! Very emotional, not just because it is a minor key, spot on performance!
Alot of essence to this track, trippy as hell, just my style lol, sounds kinda sad (which is also my style lol) cool ass solo, like the way you turned up the heat so to speak half way through, good job on this one, rated.
Wishbone ash meet slash and get nailed on mushrooms?! I think i'd like to hear the product of that and this is probably it! Seriously amazing playing and writing. G
Bin back for another listen... awesome dude
Stopped by for another, This is so Great! Vin
Every second of this took my breath away...as a fan of long-time fan of Carlos Santana, I can only say he must been an influence amonst the "....lots" NOMINATION from me.
This is a mighty fine piece of music Richard. You certainely know how to grind that axe mate. Everything sits so perfect in the mix. Wicked is the only way to describe it. Love the piccolo or flute with those strings. Gets my rate mate.
wicked guitar, not that im an expert or anything but it sounds really good, and the strings sit nicely in too enjoyed
Fits the title well! My first track to listen to after a couple of weeks away and what a killer. Would like to hear the bass a bit more in there, as the bassline in the final section from 3:45 is really strong, but overall I enjoyed this very much; great technical guitar work and tastefully done. All the best, Jon.
solid production overall with no red flags. Briliant guitar , as always. Love the intro. Would like to hear the guitar tone a little fatter. exclnt. rated.

Wow Brother Rich, how did I miss this exquiste piece of your work. Some of the best playing I've heard on this or any other site. You deffo Rock my friend. All buttons pushed in your honor.
i definitely get SOUNDTRACK vibe from this. it's got it all - slow, poignant, jeff beckish WE'VE ENDED AS LOVERS flavors, and blistering runs with cool changes. quite wonderful! anne
Hi, Cool right from the start. Love the electric guitar sounds - highly well-played -flying over the fretboard...yahooo! Highly interesting and melodic. Memorable track. Well done! Rated. Cheers, Smudge from Smudgie
Hi Iodine, Thanks for comments on my track. I listened to this and could see this as a theme tune to a drama or something. I love the distorted guitars. There is a touch of darkness/sadness to the melody which is good and emotive. Like this track. I agree with one of the other comments, would be nice to get some vocals on there. All the best, Sonya Stewart
Richard ramsey - thank you for the comment i will gladly re-record this jam and make it very audible - sorry if the piece was not to your liking, however on another note i will be recording some better things in the following months hopefully youll like them p.s. it wasn't done professionally.. just in college but still it's no excuse thanks for the comment and would like to hear more comments by you on how to make my music better.
Love your intro - wonderful and inspired - building up a lovely atmosphere immediately! And really clever how it finds its way to a more rocky main part and back to gentleness at the end. Very well combined genres. Excellent track!
Cool tune, the guitar in this is nice. Some vocals on this would be great !Solid instrumental.
Came back for the nom!
brilliant !
OOOOOOPS sorry Hun I knew I forgot something :) lol..That was to actually comment. I've been here before ;p lol. Cool track. Can't fault the guitar playing and the raw angst feeling that it is played with :) Not really my cup of tea I have to admit, but def appreciate the track and your skills Hun. Very cool. x
This makes me think of the Angel theme tune (that Buffy off-shoot)....anyway I've listened a few times now and this is excellent! Kevin Mooney
Ur one guy id love to hear live ! Awesome work on the axe Mr.....i dunno what this `shredding` is, but it sure sounds difficult.....so ill leave it alone i reckon! Gets a fat rate outa me np.
Like Bill my sax player says "makes ya just wanna give it all up and become a guitar player". Alway enjoy listening to some fine guitar work by one of the best! Markku
Just realised my many typos below - OOPS!
Brilliant piece of music from the first bar - lovely arpeggiated sewquence just before the clean sounding guitar... followed some amazing guitar playing. Some vicuious pinched harmonics in there - stunning solo, very dramatic. Lovely delay on that baby there too - also loved the prgoression to the diminshed run at around the 1.50 mark - followed by that 'arena god' anthem style phrasing. Beautiful shred runs straight after (commenting as I listen here). Man this one gets a rate and a nomination from me. Great job!
fantastic guitar work...wow!
Rich, this is so Rich! ;) Most impressive as usual from you though. I just know when I click on a tune from you it's going to be a goodie! A work of art! Bravo!!! :)
love the arping guitar, sounds amazing in my ears then the leaded guitars their melodies are written very well. Other instruments really flow into this the plucked one and the flutes. starts to really move when the drums kick in giving this a beat. wow really moving track and excellent piece, lots or emotion seem to be put in this one. Great ending and Rated! Matt
Take a nom from me dude cos this is awesome... yeah drums a little behind the shining guitar but damn.... RATED
Stunning intro Rich, very celtic sounding just before the guitar starts, the playing style is a little reminiscent of Gary Moore and Mike Oldfield, very anthemic piece mate, guitar sounds and harmonies are gorgeous mate, some of the guitar phrasing almost sounds vocal at times. loved it :)
very cool...lots to like about this track...killer guitar and really nice lush strings...builds up to a real monster of a track....so good one so many levels...top work rich thumbs up
WOW! Rich some fantastic playing here my friend.Love the soft intro which builds nicely into the meat of the track,Percussion good too.You have excelled yourself on this as it has become one of my favs of yours.Rated easily no noms left I am afraid. Take Care Andy:)
Wicked !!!! on many levels... Excellent, amazing, and inspiring... Shades of some Satch tones and melody to die for !!! Can't say eneogh about this one ..Runs and takes a life of it's own
Real Good stuff, I love it soooooo Much Full sound and crystal!
Wow some superb playing on this, love the subtle little instrumental touches throughout. The whole arrangement sounds very well played, is that you doing everything ? If so extra pats on back. Even the drums sound great. Favourite bit for me are the high tones at the beginning, they were amazingly ringing. Oh nice end section as well, cool stuff mate, well up to standard, rated :)
Very nice Rich!.....Excellent playing man! Aside from the virtuoso playing, the backing music is great too, takes you to some really nice places, nice progression ,and changes. Gets my rate man! Mark
Consumate skill and breataking quality, has me dreamin of playing naywhere near this level. Beautifully put together and a surefire charter.
Some really cool licks. I loved the intro and the changes. Nice panning of the different guitar sounds. I liked the mix ...a bit full of holes yet full of interest. The different tones are killer as are your riffs. GREAT job. What do you use for your effects? Rate fir sure!
Very sorry about the strike, but on the upside... you're back! This track has me very excited right from the intro. Love the keys (are those arppegios or scales at the start?). Is that you playing the keys too? My ego aside, you always get that wicked sound that I've never achieved. Very intelligent arrangement. Super fine lead runs dude. Nice well thought out bends. Cool lil complicated thirds thing. On my 4th listen already. Damn son! You go wit yo bad self! I'd love to see you play this live. This will definitely get my vote, but I'm all out this week. It also will go on my unsigned artists CD. Only crit is that the D&B; are a little too far back. Need I say: RATES! I'm gonna take er for another spin... loud!
Brilliant track Rich. Some great playing and the melodies are brilliant. Some really emotive notes and phrases throughout. Rated. Craig
trying to hone the fine art of songwriting...
If Rich has done this track from scratch, composing all of the intricacies of each part, I am completely floored. If he only did the guitar parts, I am 99% floored. I have to think that he is solely responsible for the entirety of this masterpiece as it has his unmistakable signature style written all over it. This, like many of Rich's pieces, brings to mind, immediately, the intelligence of the
I've enjoyed Rich "Iodine" Ramsey a great deal since the first time I heard his stuff. I, for lack of good reason, have just burned him to CD for the first time. So, so many nuances shine through on a quality sound system that are missed by listening through my decent computer's sound system. I have an entire new respect for his cutting-edge composition, production and performance skills. His orig
Like Batman, I love it when a plan comes together. Take, for instance, my first run in with Canadian rock gods iOD!NE (and that's positively the last time I am going to write it like that!) when I was blown away by Meander (December 2007) and laid a Must Have at their feet. The reason (well the main one anyway) is that I am an insatiable rock junkie and I need my regular fix - this ban
When I saw that Richard (iOD!NE) answered my post looking for guitar instrumentals to review I immediately went straight to his track. Sorry for jumping the queue but since I first heard iOD!INE I dug the progressive vibes and far out progressive guitar skills. And needless to say, this track shines as expected. The track starts out with some railway sounds, setting the atmosphere
It never ceases to amaze me the contortions some people go through to make up a bandname. I got the name right in the title but I'll be jiggered if I'm gonna do it all the way through this review. iOD!NE (OK, so I lied) is a new name to me from MP3 Unsigned and that's probably more my fault than his/hers theirs... Looks like a band too, although there is a distinct lack of information
good music and great arregment.
