One More Day - Deciduous EP
Nice too hear something new. You know I'm a fan have been since the first lick a while back. It's lodato hear under the pink guise. Magic in every turn. Still.
Well constructed song - excellent sound. Touch of Sting in the vocals i thought. Nice hypnotic riff - track builds superbly - gets a grungy thing going towards the end but drops back down - lovely subdued ending - slow fade. Class. Rated. John and Paul.
This is beautiful, laid back yet boiling over with emotion! Terry Wigmore (tbwig) has descibed all the details perfectley and I completely agree!! This is brilliantly written and delivered seamlessly. Not my goto genre, but I know quality when I hear it and this is pure quality!!! RATED!!! Baz
Thanks for the feedback gentlemen! Been working on all these the last year and a half. Everything was recorded, mixed, and mastered on my Mac with Garageband. Originally I had eight songs for this album but I picked my five favs to release on Deciduous. I will be posting all the rejects from this album and "Searchlight Soul" on "The Uncut Sessions" which is coming out in a few months! Check back and enjoy!
i agree with rich this has something very special going on it's a great piece of work and very enjoyable song
A heartfelt "and the rock spins on". That gave me chills.
loved the drift in this...the backing instruments set a wonderful stage for the vocals - a perfect fit...liked the lighter feel at 1:50-2:05 ...drifts, then a build coming into 3m..."one more day."..liked the guitars in the back chugging away until the lead breaks in...rides crashing...bass thumping...snare snapping...vocals merged with the lead guitar sustain...sweet job... liked that outro..repeated the lightness of 1:50..wouldn't mind reading more in the artist comments or bio...who plays what...Thumbs!
Resonanttones is Ryan Doyle and his Mac! I write, arrange, and record all aspects of resonanttones solely and completely in the Garagrband program on my Mac. With the the help of a condenser microphone and a MobilePre analog/digital converter. I use an Ibanez acoustic and an Epiphone Les Paul for all the guitar. I typically use the Les Paul for the Bass parts as well! I started music on the drums and that is my number two love behind vocals, but it is much easier to build the drums with the program than to record, so I do cheat on my drum parts! I DO write the drums original for each song except a couple songs I used the factory preset drums (ie:"Too Deep/Give And Take). The piano/synth/organ is also created in Garageband but they are all originally created arrangements. No factory presets. Thats the jist of "the band"!
We first and foremost thank God for our gifts, Kyrsten, Drew, Brennen, and Peyton(my greatest inspirations)! I also include Kenz in this section cuz she will some day be my manager or drummer or ill b her drummer, idk yet?!! Second I would have to thank Jim and Kath, Chris n Holly n gang, of course P-hil, Skee-do, Urland n Jade(my little playas), Chris and Tracy n MK n Kenna, and last but not least Heidi, May,and Toby. We have been involved in bands and music since the late 90's. Sapid kicked off the musical lifestyle in Jacksonville, NC. Matt Miller(vox), Chad "Roach" Cochran(bass) ***WHERE THE HECK ARE YOU BRO???*** Mike "Scarecrow" Little(guitar)RIP, and Phil Blundel(guitar) rounded out Sapid. I mention these players because of their great fortitude, pride, talent, and friendship! I love you guys! ElevenA was the next project in good ol' Naptown. Dirty scoundrels saw to it that 11A would go no further than "the soup can", a self storage unit on the SE side of indy. And it didn't! A short stint in Mississippi with Resonant Tones and it was back to Indy. The first EP "Searchlight Soul" was released in March 2008 and was a great success!! The "Deciduous" EP was released in August 2013! That brings us to the present. We definitely love music and love sharing it! ENJOY!!! Contact us @ [email protected]
Resonant Tones have struggled to keep it above the surf, but with some new releases, comes a second wind!! Check in regularly to hear new and cool song updates! Enjoy! Ryan
Ledbelly now know as RESONANT TONES(of the Mississippahoo days) has been restructured and is ready to hit the studio. Though these songs are still demos for the studio they are of way greater quality than the last. Funds have somewhat been appropriated and the project is finally moving into the studio stage. The mission is still the same, praising God and trying to help heal the lost and broken with song! Hopefully the final cuts will be out sometime in June 2006. Thanks to all who have supported and believed. God bless! Yes even you Mister Dj Redshirt!
