Hey Laura and Baz, Wow! This is very interesting. Different but still very compelling with the Eastern vibe and wonderful story in the lyric. I enjoyed it! Thumbs!
Have missed so many songs from you both this year. Have a chance to catch up while you are away for the summer though. Great vocal Laura and the Indian/Eastern feel work so well. You are the masters of interesting and varied subject matter for songs. Enjoyed. James
This is really funky. I love the eastern flavor to this. Really original track and the vocal on this is just superb. I see it got to No 2, sorry I was a little late on this one, deserves a NO 1 spot! Gets my thumbs.
Hi Laura and Baz, this track is excellent indeed!, really enjoyed it. As always looking forward hearing you in the future too :>). Enjoy the summer too!.
If the music industry has any sense, it will notice the two of you sparkling like gems in the desert sand.
This is a different sound - very cool change of direction on this - was not expecting this kind of sound. Laura's voice is so cool on this too. Still soft and feminine, but something about it is really in tune with the lyrics and the music. I need to build my music vocabulary so I could figure out what that means. LOL! It's going to seem like a long time before I hear from you two again, since I have been on my unofficial vacation for a while. I survived last year, that gives me confidence that I will get by until you both return from vacation this year too - especially since you have more tunes to visit. I'll miss you both. Enjoy!
Lushious eastern percussionals from the outset!! You guys, you are great!! Always reinventing yourselves!! Baz is on the money here, the guy is a percussional genious and everything fits it like a glove!!! That sitar is wicked!!! Loving Laura's vocals and lyrics, that girl always delivers the goods!!!!! Wicked work guys!!!!!! Baz
Havent heard any of your music before .. (I have been away for a while) and am pleased I found it.. I really like this track.. love the Indian influence, as I have a lot of association with those in Asian bodies due to my spiritual path, this really hit the spot with me.. the lyrics are a point of view that is popular with westerners.. but not all of us :-) Great track though.. I will be listening to more. ,
Love the Indian strains which make so much sense with the lyric. Arranged marriage and ethnic differences are abhorrent in the 21st century ....you put it in perspective nicely here and yet the song is in itself very appealing....top job Baz and Laura. Have a great Summer sweethearts and see you when you're back...Dawny xxxxx
You boldly go where..well.. where music should have no boundaries anyway So true.! Great classy vocals and superb backing! Well done. We all look forward to your next instalment...dont leave it too long. Thank you for the music! keith
You'll be missed! Looking forward to your return already :) Interesting tune here, your lyrics/vocals expressing both sides of what's always a controversial issue, certainly a bold tune to say goodbye with. Thumbs up and have a great summer!
Superb Indian vibe. Great vox as always too. Have a good summer and HURYY BACK!!!! (shout, yell)........
I tried to say s w a n k y.
I can see belly dancers and flashing lights with s...y clad party goers oozing the genie out of the bottle despite the poignant subject matter which is enhanced by the trippy music. Everything here is amazingly brilliant and very visual.
A wonderful track, I love the Indian Tabla Drums, Sitars...etc, and this sound never fails to hit the spot with me, as for the, well it tells a truth, it talks about real situation that people face, interesting, whats wrong with a bit of controversy from time to time? This is brilliant in every way, Laura's vocals have never had a classier musical backdrop to sine with! Well done Laura and Baz! Cheers, Andrew
Yeah, the merging of cultures doesn't always run as smoothly as we would like and that's a shame. Belief is very powerful and very dangerous, whatever the religion. I could go on but i wont! Great song, have a good break. Gibbo
I love the Indian/bangra sound to this and the very contemporary issue it is talking about. An unusual and ingenuis subject matter and a very catchy song to boot. Excellent stuff. Love Wednesday x
Ah an indian theme now...i like artist that arnt afraid to venture into differing styles. I gotta say that im impressed with the sound you have created here. Excellent work you guys! Mal.
Great track guys, some really wonderful sounds Baz and Laura's vocals are greaty. Touchy subject for some, i think you get your point over very well. Really like the chorus. Thanks for the d/l I am sure this will be getting played on my phone a lot.......David
Songwriters boldly writing about topics that may have some hostility attached! ....arranged marriages?...good for you for wading into it...rhythms and instrumentation set a geographical context...vocals are the usual top drawer stuff we have enjoyed all winter from Laura, and the same can be said of the track...Baz is right on his game. Last track for the season? Say it ain't so...well done you two and I can't wait to hear what you will have in store for us after your hiatus. All the best! Stay well!

Ok...this is more of a comment than a review. Sweet Song! I had a lousy day today, was fooling around trying to relax, and this song did the trick. Everything fit so nicely when I closed my eyes it mellowed me right out. Thanks! &nbs;
