Country Blue
Don't know about all the stuff said, everyone likes it, that's all I know. I loved it from the beginning to the end. It kinda just flowed from whatever it was to whatever it is........
liked the way this showed up in my player...lyrics too... cool...is that a feature you embedded? :)
yeah..kind of Proclaimers rhythm was hard to overcome in my head at first, but the whistling helped..maybe start with the whistling so the proclaimer's doesn't start? nice slide work and the electronica sizzling...could hear a different melody and vocal...this sounds like a classic Breathing Room, I guess it is what you do, the layered octave vocal, subdued...the backing track is fine on its own, to my ears...without the vocal...but it is fine with it too...bit experimental with the electronica...but judiciously mixed it augments and stretches your craft :)
Like the intro when all the elements start to kick in at 0:17, nice gradual build to the song adding tension. The overall vibe of the song and guitar work and your vocals sound like some of a rock bands (Black Rebel Motorcycle Club) more mellow songs. Enjoyed this a lot
An unusual composition enjoyed listening interesting tune. "Stevie C"
Sounds almost didgereedoo in there. I love that bassy sound....funky yeah def....whistling made a change. Vocal wasn't quite antsy enough I thought but I could imagine a whole bar full of line-dancers clapping along as they did their heel clicking dance to it. Good stuff!
Tribal feel to this I thought, pretty funky. Very cool slide. Thumbs, Gibbo
And ya whistle too....sheesh! Back for a few more listens :)
Yeah, I like this. Starts off like a spghetti western and then the style turns contemporary and then out of the blue come the vox.
Like this one; especially that slide guitar. As Tristyn says, a nice swampy feel.
What an odd song, I was thoroughly enjoyin' that intro (long one, that) and then the vocals kicked in.....ha ha, and enjoyed those too. Very cool stuff you got goin' on with these guitars, effects and such, oh yeah this is gonna loop....:)
i'm always a sucker for song with whistling. nice country feel , took a long time for vocals to come in i thought it was a instrumental at first. cool track. very well made. has a swampy feel to it. also a bit of a indian feel in parts. nice production
I'm a Scottish Singer/Songwriter and after playing guitar and singing in a couple of indie-rock bands for a number of colourful years in Dundee without catching a break I decided to go it alone. I now write and record independently while trying to attract interest from as many places and people as possible. My current tracks are a kind of back-porch, melodic indie-folk and I'm trying to do as much as I can to promote myself so I'd massively appreciate it if you could have a listen or offer any feedback. Cheers.
