This is a lovely piece of music, Gibbo, atp.
Simply love this one. And I can dl it too!!!! I know you said the voice is a sample but it reminds me of Deborah. Do you hear from her? Is DARD still going? Dan
Hi Andy, nice smooth start to this and nice use of the vocals. This is deffo soundtrack material it drags you in right from the start. The programming of the drums are immense, i take my hat of to you.Epic good versus evil filmscore.Enjoyed ,breathtaking work.
really epic! Great song sculpting and arrangement. Superb and class outfitted track. Like the Heat soundtrack (one of my favourite films) think a lot was done by a guy called Eliot something or other. Vocal samples are a little out of place, but still, they dont take anything away from the track hats off to you sir!
definitely soundtrack material and a little different for you... love it... you're on a roll man... everything that comes outta you is gold for a long time now! that middle drum section is just awesome and really draws to mind alot of imagery, I visualize a city scape chase scene... maybe like a scene from a bourne supremecy type movie... the vox fit well i think too! bravo gets my votes!
Nice track! Great percussion...erie vox...great mix! =D
Andy, you have managed to combine samples and orchestral and you have succeeded well here. Gets a rate from me.
Yeah definitely soundtrack-ish, the vox is perfect, this is pretty awesome, I can see this being on a movie with a big battle scene or something similar, you have something good brewing here, rated.
Really lovely soothing track here Andy. Nice and chillout, just what you want for a Friday morning at work :o) I like the vocal samples, they fit in nicely. And as ever your usual quality. ONAGER
Hiya Andy, Sonya here, like this, tis a bit different for you, but that's good. Like the vocals samples, they are fine, bit like Enigma style. But a good rate from me, think I'll always like your stuff what ever you do. All the best, Sonya S.
Very cool - Baby D sample huh :) Unless that is another singer saying her famous sample lol..Anyway. Classy piece of music. As always top arrangment skills and full sounding instruments! Cool stuff Andy.Chillled!Peace xx
Well im no expert, but this is a really fine offering. I thing everthing is in perfect plate. Sample vocal stuff really works well to my ears. Just adore those deep sweeping moods that grasp ones heart -EPIC truly beautiful truly rich.
Hi Andy, this is a bit different for you and the vocal samples I feel work well, I have said before ..the percussion in your tracks is very well produced and this is no exception, it drives the tracks in a dramatic sense compelling the listener to stay until the end, lovely stuff Andy..and your new bio pic looks great mate :)
The percussion in this again reminds me of Trevor Jones (Last of the Mohicans)... absolute quality, mate. I'd have to agree with mikey that maybe the samples could be used a bit more sparingly but they certainly fit really nicely. You are certainly on a roll, but you'll have to go some way to beat "The Chambers" for me now! Great work again.
Man, those drums sound great in that middle passage! Excellent composition, Andy, the vocals work very well, but it's the percussion that really does it for me in this song. Well done! Rated.
hey andy i think the vocals really sound really nice and fit so well into the track. strings sound soooo nice and again panned so well. ooo the drums really sound sweet and they build up throughout the track. Drums are played so well and sound real WOW they just get more complex and rhythmically creating a nice beat. and whats different is you used ambient and special effects this time really enhancing teh dreams and fantasy theme of this track. Nice and chilled and most of all Rated! Matt
Nice work Andy ;) I like the vocal samples they give it that extra element. All the arrangement etc is spot on, glad I stopped by for a listen x
You can't go wrong at the moment Andy and, as Allan is often heard to say, you are in your purple period...everything is just exquisite. The drums (omg you knew I'd love this!!) are just fabulous and I could have easily listened to a lot more of that...but all of the music is wonderful and everything fits so perfectly. The vox I can take or leave...they are good but not essential to the piece in my opinion...I guess on balance, I'd leave them in because they are another facet in a most exquisite diamond of a track. Nomination
Another monstrous epic, I like the vocal as well, very atmospheric. Cinematic to the ninth degree. Rated :)
This is a brilliant piece of chill out pie Andy.....and i ate it all up....what a biggg sound u got goin on here. Vox are fine....but, the percs are fkn ACE man. Rated np. mick.
Well this certainly hasn't let me down, and is another fine track from you, very atmospheric feel to this, and a little different from you sounding a little more electronic than orchestral, like the choirs etc.. I think the vocal fits well personally, all round another fine track and I enjoyed listening. Well done!!!
Very big cinematic feel to it, i like the vocal on it, beautiful piece
Just thought I should clear up what I was saying about the vocal sample. The sample tells you about the track directly, but I think without the sample might convey the same message because it's said within the music. So I'm not exactly sure what you'd like to do with them. I don't usually like vocal samples too much because usually it can be overused, but because the music is so beautiful, I don't mind it and can see the meaning, though at the same time, you could probably get the same effect if you used it only once or twice, like either the beginning or end. Just thought I'd clarify that up for you Andy! Revisited this one.
I Also enjoyed this track very much,I agree with many that it would make a great score for a movie, I Imagine myself watching and the surround speakers playing. Great track. Vin
Personally I like the vocals, they fit really well. Percussion is fantastic as is the rest of this track. Certainely sound track material bro. As always a top track and top production. Easily rate worthy. Baz
Niceone on this tune, i like the vocal samples. As the last one i heard from you, this could be in a movie too, like the middle section of the tune. Solid track
a little different for you andy...still has your trade mark quality's...as everyone else the middle section was really cool...little fact for you hehehe.... the let me be your fantasy vocal..not sure if its the original but i was lucky enough to work with the gal who origianly did that... baby d early 90's on production house records :D useless fact but there all the same :P thumbs up
A beaut dude. Liked the drums loads they were qual. Middle section reminded me of Vikings the film. Your song had an orchestral motif in the same vibe/area. Not too struck on the vox samples but they didn't spoil a great listen. Take a rate dear boy
another cracker andy, wisperey vocals sound nice, really like those heavy drums, its a bit like an enya track, the second section is deffo a massive film score type sound, now back to gentle, think the vocals work i like them, good track
Lovely track, which carries your trademark: A warm emotional intensity. Love the chord progressions - I immediately hum along. The vocs give the tune a dreamy, mysterious feel. The percs in the middle part are surprising and change the feeling totally. The voc samples fit in very well, I find, but I think, less is more - just my personal taste though. It can get too repetitious rather quickly. I would rather try to replace some of the samples with a little instrumental part which carry the stirred emotion from the samples further? Nice track, like it!
Another inspiring composition Andy! From the strings to the vocals samples...which...are a very nice layer to the soundscape. The percussion is powerful but not overbearing. You've really got a great feel for the drums! tuned percussion is nice too! Can't say any more...Easy soundtrack and an easy R8!
I think this works well with the vocal samples. On the other hand it would be a beautiful work without. This is another way of saying the composition is strong enough to allow the vocals to become an element - rather than be the pillars which hold it together. Another wonderfully atmospheric composition from you. Rated
another beautiful film score piece imo dont now nothing about modern day composers genre sorry. but i know a masterpiece when i hear it .. nice drums and i love the middle bit were the percs go for a moment in the sun. great track andy sorry i couldnt say much more . :O) rated!
Wow man. The beginning already starts out beautiful. This is totally epic man. Ooo love those heavy drums when they fade in. Geez, this has become another one of my favorites from you (as like your other songs :D). Nice, near the end you kinda go a bit electronic there with the pads. Well the track just finished. You know, you have the guidelines of a main theme for a movie. You can probably take that and turn it into going to war music, tranquility (like what you have here), and just pure beauty. A very nice job dude. There's nothing I can say that's really any sort of criticism, though I'm fine with the vocal samples and without it really. I'm too focused on the melodies and those drums. :D Rated Andy!
Hi! I have been interested in music since an early age and now enjoy making tracks with the various software available.Such as Edirol, EWQLSO and my new addition, Miroslav Philharmonik which has some strings to die for, all this sequenced in Fruity Loops. I now seem to concentrate on composing Classical Soundtrack material. I also enjoy rearranging tracks in collaboration with the awesome talent on show here. Please stop by anytime and enjoy! The Chambers album has been accepted in the Music Dept of the National Library of Israel and hopefully will be added to the holocaust museum there.

I really enjoyed the melody. Loved the flute.... more than the bass :)
If I had my music software working, I could put my finger on it, but overall, just loved it!
Seeing as how I have been completely laid up for the past two doing doing nothing but honking into a handkerchief and spluttering like a man drowning (Ed: just a seasonal cold, tut tut poor reviewer), it seems appropriate that I should come riding back into the fray on orchestral wings. On second thought, after that sentence, maybe I should just go back to bed. Andrew Foyston (to give
Valour and Honour – Andy F- Essence Review Well, what can I say? It’s a huge track and no one can deny! Huge sounds, very dramatic indeed! I’ll try to skip the obvious comment of “this should be in a film” because it is obviously your intention Andy, to make your tunes fire the imagination and conjure up all kinds of themes and scenes to which your tracks could be impl
This an immensely dramtic and emotional piece of music. It's actually difficult to think where to start. The beginning is probably the best place. The haunting melody at the beginning truly sums up the emotion I can only imagine would be felt by prisoners being taken to the gas chambers. The bells add a nice touch, hinting to everyone that death is close. You can almost smell the mud and
Andy wondered if i was up for classical pieces when he submitted this for review! Good news is, yes I am! I have always loved orchestration, as does everyone if you really think about it. Whes used to it's full scope, 'classical' music fully captures and envokes all the feelings and meaning that modern music strives to recreate in different ways. Andy's 'The Last Galleon' does just that, the sus
T'was brass monkey weather time, three years ago, I reviewed a track called Di Da Mix (October 2003) and although liking its content (a little), disliking its production (even littler) and thoroughly berated the composer to get serious about his sound. AndyF (yep, you guessed it) obviously did because as many of you know, he's been in here plugging away ever since and btw, he did get s
Currently number one in MP3 Unsigned's Official chart, DHGC is a collaboration from two artists I have come to know very well, one for a very long time and one I've met within the last year. I first met AndyF a million years ago on another site when I reviewed his first track Di Da Mix (October 2003) and liked it. That hasn't always been the case, not because Andy isn't a good musician
Call me a sycophant if you like, I just don't care. I am bowled over by the undoubted talents of Andy F, and his latest track, Tears, is no exception. Building his orchestration around the superb vocals of Amy Caldwell, the loving care and attention given to this crisp and professional work is evident from the outset. It's always easy to eulogise over great songs and, naturally, personal taste c

ONE NOTE FIRST - “Although I am not totally into classical music, this song certainly has made me become interested in it. Fantastic score, fantastic instruments, fantastic feel to the song – HIGHLY RECOMMENDED” Review – Starting off smooth, the piano work done at the beginning is great, although could have been uplifted a bit to hear it a bit better, but with all the other instrument work
