I am primarily a lyricist and Tunesmith. I am interested most of all in writing great vocal trance. I am no longer a young man and so I am unusual in loving dance music at an age when I should be wearing cardigans and cursing that awful boom boom music while listening to radio 2.
My first love was classical music but as soon as I heard Rank One and ATB and other Trance pioneers I was hooked. I decided to take up the piano and was soon playing simple five finger exercises and the Bartok For Children volumes. I soon progressed to simple pieces by Betthoven and Mozart and began exploring the world of Harmony and Composition. A few years ago I studied music with the Open University. I also discovered Joseph Schillinger. I have not been able to afford to study the Open Univervsity's new Music Technology course and ill health has prevented me studying at my local College. However, I have been hard at work and trying to learn as much as possible about Ableton Live 7 and FL Studio 7.
I am currently working on some vocal trance - I am thinking of setting up a new account so that my Trance identity will be different from the classical/ambient material I am also working on.
