Very interesting track, and topic! My 3rd listen. I enjoyed the mix of instruments that create the tension in the track, suddenly released at 2:30, really works. Get a hint of Nelly Furtado with the 2 note bass riff. Truly good.
Hey Sonya! Been a long time!! Yours was one of the first comments I ever got on MP3U, and I never forgot how amazing it was to get a positive comment on my song, "Life Above Water". Well, Karma Story is a powerful sound and it sounds like you are really having fun with this! I didn't realize you were from Scotland, amazing sounds coming out of your land... Listening to this I really feel as though I'm visiting your country somehow, it's dark and mysterious but glowing with power! Just awesome!! - DJ Frankie
@ Wait for stars, thanx for the feedback on this, very noted:), @ Blakeheart, thank u much
You have great crossover appeal with this means it relates to all thumbs brill
Very cool track! I really dig this kind of music! Great groove and vibe on this one! Agree with Alive, would love to hear your vocals a bit more, for the vocals to be more of the focal point in some spots but very cool song and very nice vocal performance!! Thumbs
@ Wigmore/Bell,thank u muchly for the feedback & the informative comment, no sign of boy george here;0), @ Alive, thank you muchly, yes pure experimental, thanx for the constructive comment too:)
Hello Sonya - heavy electro instrumentation which really has impact - think the vocals have a dark edge and really work for this kind of track - felt they were a bit buried in the mix at times though. Its good to experiment and you have created a song with bags of potential in my opinion. James
Liked the electro-tones -pulses left/right...great vocals weaving ...bass hovering in those semi-tones, strong beats...nice platform to wander with vocals ..preach the message ;) Karma..reap what you sow...lessons..
Liked the harmonies around 2:04 (no way forward) 2:10 and other places where you give the harmonies some space to cradle the lead...and that lead vocal is so suited for this tune...and I'm with Andrew...I looked....and no sign of Boy George ;)
Thank you Andy for that, the end of your comment made me smile! Thanks:)
Lovely original Electro sounds and super vocals, a very detailed and cleverly interwoven tapestry of sounds and vocals!
Plus it good to hear a song about Karma, without a Chameleon in sight!
From the age of 5, could play various tunes from radio, later composed tunes, added lyrics turning tracks into songs. Assisted in Studio for time, and sang in few bands ranging from pop, soul, rock singing covers & some original material. Experience picked up later became more involved in recording/producing own material.
Main influences have been Madonna, Massive Attack, various dance type productions e.g. Opus III, Robert Miles. Experience in studio/bands gave me a diversity for many original style songs/instrumentals & dance type tracks. Many more tracks can be heard from this website which contains various ideas. Enjoy!!!
Complete new Website Makeover, including some music collaborators I have worked with, various updates etc...Please feel free to stop by & comment too if you likey;)

Fabulous change to MP3 UNSIGNED. Wishing every success for 2010 x
Hi y'all, My original song 'Don't Want To Wait' recently was remixed by Skreech a talented electronica producer. He used some of the vocals from my song and created a cool, hip mix, more drums and bass orientated than synth. Wish to express thanks to both Skreech and MK Records for their support. The track has been released by MK Records, and is now available at Itunes.
Made no. 1 on Reverbnation pop charts, & tis cool. Anywayz, happy bunny:)
I have just teamed up with RedDress on my track 'WHERE IS THE LOVE IN THAT', and RedDress has just remixed the track with an amazing result - Have a listen, and let us know what you think!: Working link:
