Halloween Concerto ( ft The Zombie Philharmonic)
Thanks a lot for your compliments and support on the new song!! Really appreciate it.
This is wild! Great job on this. Enjoyed it! Thumbs up. Wait for Stars
I keep accidentally clicking on this honey and so I get repeats at regular intervals...and its still DIVINE!!!
Hi Andy F, I am thrilled that you have managed to produce something for Halloween. This is very haunting but not too scary. I think you've done it just right. Fantastic work and well done on entering the chart this week at No.9. PJ
Great piece of work here, I Love it!
... what Dawn said :) Seriously good Andy - I hope Classic FM -are- listenting. Miroslav Phil sounds great. The violin at 3:15 (ish) sits so sweetly atop the drums - your percussionist experience keeps this very much alive (or should I say undead in view of the subject matter). Love the "infernal choir" at the begining too.; Nice from start to finish. Regards. Mike.
Another cracking track Andy. Love the gothic 'Burtonesque' feel. I can visualise a whole plague if zombies walking inexorably towards me - better leg it! Thumbs.
Pretty good timing for a bunch of dead'uns....thought they were a shuffling bunch! All jokes aside, this sounds great, Andy. Production and performances are spectacular, love the mood you create with this. Thumbs up!
This has a haunting Royalty to it. If that makes any sense? Very nice production!
Lush, gothic soundtrack, The dynamic arrangement and compostion are spot on and the instrumentation is incredible - I can hear this on a Tim Burton film... Great work.
A wonderful composition Andy. Has class all over it. Zombies and all....;-).
You have such amazing scope in your concertos. I don't think there is a single instrument left out and yet everything sits perfectly in its place and doesn't overwhelm the rest. I am positive you get better and better with each new track, my friend...and this is stunning!!
Nice to hear some Halloween inspired tracks on mp3u - superb sound to this - big and epic - lots of very fine instrumentation to be heard as the composition progresses - first rate production values - AWESOME - rated
Great to hear something for Halloween.Another brilliant arrangement.Love the male vocals on this.Rated. Paul
Cool mix of orchestral/choir and modern percussion. Has a horror movie vibe alright. Wasn't expecting the big change at the 2.30 mark, really interesting little tangent with some lovely melodies. Very nice Andy:-)
Kettle Drums always speak of mystery, to me...nice intro! Strong beats with Vox male on the bottom...emphasizing the rhythms, and the ethereal female vox adds dynamics to the top. Liked the piano in the 1:40 ish area..then strings to suport the melodic line...I love the oboe! You have built this wonderfully complex movement. Loving it all! Ah, the clarinets...now...passing along the melody to the flutes..then off to the brass section...I love the way you move the melody along like a relay race...who has the baton? ;) Keeps the listener engaged! The swelling vox with the the timpanis ending the swell...great touch! Thumbs!
I was waiting for this Andy , i knew you would be up for a Halloween Orchestration mate , great arrangement as usual like the change from the chior chants in to the piano section , Nice beat floting around in the back ground too it has it ups and downs through the track takes you in different directions as it strolls nicely through the piece ... .. i think theres a couple of clicks @the 2.21 mark and at the 2.33 not to sure what it is , doesnt matter the arrangement and perfomance is the thing for me ... Great stuff.... thumbs
Hi! I have been interested in music since an early age and now enjoy making tracks with the various software available.Such as Edirol, EWQLSO and my new addition, Miroslav Philharmonik which has some strings to die for, all this sequenced in Fruity Loops. I now seem to concentrate on composing Classical Soundtrack material. I also enjoy rearranging tracks in collaboration with the awesome talent on show here. Please stop by anytime and enjoy! The Chambers album has been accepted in the Music Dept of the National Library of Israel and hopefully will be added to the holocaust museum there.
My first album STAY with ME can be bought here: http://www.cdbaby.com/andrewfoyston and the latest BEYOND POLARIS at www.cdbaby.com/andrewfoyston2.

I really enjoyed the melody. Loved the flute.... more than the bass :)
If I had my music software working, I could put my finger on it, but overall, just loved it!
Seeing as how I have been completely laid up for the past two doing doing nothing but honking into a handkerchief and spluttering like a man drowning (Ed: just a seasonal cold, tut tut poor reviewer), it seems appropriate that I should come riding back into the fray on orchestral wings. On second thought, after that sentence, maybe I should just go back to bed. Andrew Foyston (to give
Valour and Honour – Andy F- Essence Review Well, what can I say? It’s a huge track and no one can deny! Huge sounds, very dramatic indeed! I’ll try to skip the obvious comment of “this should be in a film” because it is obviously your intention Andy, to make your tunes fire the imagination and conjure up all kinds of themes and scenes to which your tracks could be impl
This an immensely dramtic and emotional piece of music. It's actually difficult to think where to start. The beginning is probably the best place. The haunting melody at the beginning truly sums up the emotion I can only imagine would be felt by prisoners being taken to the gas chambers. The bells add a nice touch, hinting to everyone that death is close. You can almost smell the mud and
Andy wondered if i was up for classical pieces when he submitted this for review! Good news is, yes I am! I have always loved orchestration, as does everyone if you really think about it. Whes used to it's full scope, 'classical' music fully captures and envokes all the feelings and meaning that modern music strives to recreate in different ways. Andy's 'The Last Galleon' does just that, the sus
T'was brass monkey weather time, three years ago, I reviewed a track called Di Da Mix (October 2003) and although liking its content (a little), disliking its production (even littler) and thoroughly berated the composer to get serious about his sound. AndyF (yep, you guessed it) obviously did because as many of you know, he's been in here plugging away ever since and btw, he did get s
Currently number one in MP3 Unsigned's Official chart, DHGC is a collaboration from two artists I have come to know very well, one for a very long time and one I've met within the last year. I first met AndyF a million years ago on another site when I reviewed his first track Di Da Mix (October 2003) and liked it. That hasn't always been the case, not because Andy isn't a good musician
Call me a sycophant if you like, I just don't care. I am bowled over by the undoubted talents of Andy F, and his latest track, Tears, is no exception. Building his orchestration around the superb vocals of Amy Caldwell, the loving care and attention given to this crisp and professional work is evident from the outset. It's always easy to eulogise over great songs and, naturally, personal taste c

ONE NOTE FIRST - “Although I am not totally into classical music, this song certainly has made me become interested in it. Fantastic score, fantastic instruments, fantastic feel to the song – HIGHLY RECOMMENDED” Review – Starting off smooth, the piano work done at the beginning is great, although could have been uplifted a bit to hear it a bit better, but with all the other instrument work
