Great tune dude! It has a very natural drive. And it might suite and deserve a remix ;-) So if you liked our production and would like to see how things will work out with different hands on the decks let us know!
Thanks for all the input peeps
Grumbles and growls all the way through. Top, clever production Kev. Simply DIVINE!
I loved Divine (he was great live lol) You really captured that seedy bump and grind moroder groove in the bassline, love it :) Rated
Hey Kevin, Just popped onjto here via the song link and you're quite right to call this a ferocious mix. Great arrangement and mix, wow.I love a nicely textured sound like this. You have crazy skills! Will be back for more listens! Gets a rate from me! (:
Sounding good dude - wow that master channel is at full pelt dude, hurt my f4king ears ! Great retro pingers and nice retro bass - all very nicely composed and arranged. Still think the mix is a bit hot but it works and the choon is vg. Very nice work.
Great beat! I liked this lively tune the first time I heard it, and am enjoying this update even more - cool vocal samples man! Sounds like this has been a "labor of love" for ya, I can tell you're getting into this one! Rated and then some, this is fun!
A lot of personality to this track... nice synth variations and bits of ear candy to keep it interesting to the end. rated :)
It's got a good vibe kev and top bline (I know what that means now hee hee). Maybe it does have too much saturation cos it's kinda modulating the vox sample too much but this could be intentional? Still very cool and I can imagine loads of folk having a bop to this. Rated
lol...........I have those vox - 2004 vintage. Still good though. Top mix as well, very meaty.
Like the backing, good pulsating rythm and well produced.. have to be totally honest I am bored to tears with lyrics like the vocs used here... "F's etc just make me think..oh no not again yawn:-) but I ain't being negative about the track co's I think it's really well done... F'king good Mot..her F..cker lol
Fantastic sounds you got here Kev it is just oozing energy!! Take Care Andy :)
I've re-structured it a bit and saturated the mix a bit :)
aye this is cool stuff dude...very nice vocal sample :) something i'd use :) nice beats, synths and the production sounds nice and crisp :) very much enjoyed thumbs up
great drive in this track, superb production and nicely querky appreciating those vocal tweaks and the instrumentation/choice of sound Great vibe! Possibly more bass? (well...you know what im like :P)
the vox work, think theres more percs or they're shaper and the clap is really nice so hard to find a good clap nowdays:),take it the end section is gonna meld into part 2 well il look out for it love this
Floor-filler! Great kick on this one and a very cool bline! Sweet liitle track Kevin...short init? Enjoyed this!
Dude! I love that industrialish sounding bass line you got going on here. That perc melody is cool, too. Everything is sounding great so far. The kick sounds great with it all. Not too punchy or too soft. Then the other metallic kinda stringed melody comes in slowly. The song is building nicely. Now I'm at a calming and thats the... end. Good fade-out. A little short but hey, it's just the first part. Everything sounds pretty darned good. The kick sounds good with the bass. Good mix of everything. I can hear everything clearly and precisely. All in all, you have a good tune here! Good job! Rated, man.
Hey, cool dance song. Interesting that you're making this a suite, but I guess a set is the preferred term for the trance/techno world. Anyways I had to turn this up. Cool synths and melodies. Nice tribute dude. Keep notified about the other parts when you make them. :D
Great dance vibe Kevin, Really nailed the Divine thang...but hey i am no expert in that arena..as you will no doubt guess :))) Great work.
Hey! - get on down! What a dance groove goin' on there! I dig this Kev, very well done - production well done & enjoy the various synth sounds throughout - great vibe! R8 for sure! Sonya Stewart.

Hey brother Kev, ya know how I can tell this is gonna be good, cause I can't stop my foot, Well done bro.
Enjoyed that, Kevin! Got a real bump and grind feel to it, surprised at the inspiration, I'm only familiar with Divine the actor and wasn't aware there was this whole other thing going! Lookin' forward to hearing what you do with the next two. Rated.

shoot your shot...you captured the 80's feeling very well. divine sounded real dirty in a cool way. the bassdrum has a very good sound. cool track.

there is a clicky sound on the high end of that kick dude.. it spoils the track for me sorry to say.. its a nice listen too i like the kick ass blines.. the percs are kool too and great choice of sinths some nice pads .. and you got a wiked arpline thrown in the background.. just added some shakers to the percs nice going .. just 1 crit about that kick.. sorry bud .. apart from that its gonna be a blinder:) rated fx
Thanks for the listens and comments......so fast as well! You can always rely on hi-nrg blines to get the floor full ;)
Certainly got me shifting... like the sizzly sounding synths, and that relentless beat... will be interested to hear how this morphs into a trance track for the later parts... All the best with it, mate. Cheers, Jon.
yeah, love that bassline Kevin, kick is very nice too! enjoyed this from beginning to end. quality work. rated.
Love the sequenced bass on the intro and throughout, great vibe and hook to the track from the off Kev, the main synth line is very cool sounding, very bouncy little tune, good stuff mate :)
Nice solid piece this Kevin. I like the way that the beat develops and also the synths. I also think that the variation right at the end is a nice touch as well.
Creating music in various styles.

Gone back to original artist name because winter is ending That's not supposed to mean anything to anyone but me :) Kevin
One sunday afternoon, I got squelchy lolI've updated it some more.....added some gaps, stutters and put some phase on the main line.I updated it more
Written by Kevin Mooney and Graham Lee-Downer (Lowe-Lauri)It's a mid-tempo acoustic song.
A dedication to DivineI've added some beef to the mix in the way of some disturbing but useable Magix vocal samples and some re-structuring to the outro which I hope is more DJ-friendly.
Is now available and believe me, getting my vocal to sound this way wasn't difficult at all!All I did was imagine that I was an extra in Dr Who whilst sitting on a block of ice......One take! And used a free vocoder :)
It's called "This love aint breaking up" Do feel free to have a listen and comment if you wish! The lyrics are posted as well :)UPDATE: 8th October 2007 Deon has now provided the vocals for this song and I am delighted!
A pop song from a while back.Well it got to number 1 here so can't be bad!
The fifth and final track from MP3 Unsigned this month, Kevin Mooney supplies us with a - yep, you guessed it - a trance track. Considering this is one of my least favourite genres, it is quite surprising that I have liked the four I have already heard from that site. Let us hope, however, that the next time I do this, I can get a bit more diversity into the mix. So, Kevin Mooney
Goodbye, by Kevin MooneyI enjoyed this track very much.Song writing.- the song writing here, is very very good, well put together, well arranged, very well structured, instrumentation well suited, the only thing I would say I had a problem with is some of the vocal melodies selected, a bit predictable in spots, and drag a little, but that's more performance than song writing. This guy obviously kn
There is alot of genres that i know little about, and would never presume to be an authority on. So this is just how I see them So first off with this review, Kevin has listed himself as a writer more than a performer, so this review will concentrate more on that aspect other than the recording ( but we shall still touch on that). Being a country song you wouldnt be wrong in thinking this is a
first off, country aint my style of choice. now that is off my chest, ive got to let you guys know this sounds very professional and is produced to an absolute T. this can be on the radio right now! Im very sorry for the 6 in interest, but its just the truth. but you more then made up for it in the production, song structure etc. The melodies are catchy as hell, the recording i
