You don't often get a track like this on mp3u. This is a grand tune, although not usually what I'd listen to, it kept me listening to the end, which is also unusual for me. Very well produced, well performed, well thought out. Nowt to complain about really, not even the vocal, which is increasingly rare in unsigned communities. Solo at the end is nice and I particularly enjpyed it dropping down to just a picked guitar part before a slight build with pizz strings towards the end. Good work , Mr Miller. I enjoyed that very muchly. T-Bone

I remember hearing this before. Country did put me off but this is more acoustic and i love the lyrics and vocals... I liked the original version and this is real good too!!

Nice work Hank. I too was putoff with the country tag but was easily won-over with this rather moving and beautiful piece. Does this mean yer back or ar ya still hunting around on the floor for yer dummy hee hee. ABP

Great song, production is immaculate, everything has a lovely open air that is very cool. Lyrics are very good. Another great vocal performance, your biggest asset, you have a great recording voice (very under rated) Guitar is great at the end as well. Think you do country extremely well, felt genuine to me :) A bit rate from me :)

A definite cut above a lot of Country tunes I have heard. I love the interesting contrasts lyric-wise. Think Bob Dylan would have been proud to have written this even.

Tony this track took 2 bars to convince me of its brilliance. Possibly one of the best tracks I've heard todate on this site. Definatley finds itself onto the 'Now thats what I call MP3U' Vol 1. The little old slip of organ gives a real depth to this. Go Go Tony great to have you back Ant

Great production off the bat Tony, vocals sound really good. The harmonica is a nice touch too, you play that? Love the way the backing grows behind the vox. The obligatory TM guitar solo is there too, lovely clean tone with perfect fx settings. Another great one!

It really tugs at the heart strings Tony,so emotional you nearly lose it on certain words,which adds emmensley to the track.Very strong track Mr Miller.A talent badge and a beer from me.

I was wondering what you'd do when the song came to such an obvious close around 3:30 with a couple of minutes left. Leave it to Tony to go all "Layla" on us and lay down a solo any fan of Eric's has to appreciate. Love the cryin' in your beer lyrics; I'm crying cause I don't have a beer and I'm still snowed in...Excellent song Mr. Miller, laying a rate on it.
