This song is brilliant, I feel it to the bone...You definitely convey your feelings through the music; solid work.
Nice tune! Really like the mood and groove of this. Cool guitar sound too. Yes. I hear a bit of Gerry Rafferty as well, who I am a fan of. Nice work! Thumbs! Roger
Nice groove, it's like rock but coming from a slightly different place. You know what I mean, groovy anyway.
another great tune from you... love the productions..
nice work here Gibbo. agree with Deon...this has a Gerry Rafferty feel to it....love what you did with the delay to give it a nice ambience .
Great hook. Candid lyrics. Real Happy Mondays feel about the groove. Like this track a lot man. KB
Very nice tune, gibbo! I really like how smooth and easy you sing this, and the groove is~ well, it's pretty catchy to say the least! I'll probably be humming this in my mind for a while.

I often listen to TIRED, Kevin. It is the first song I heard of yours and still is one of my favorites. You speak to me in frank language of a painful reality that I and so many others can relate to. Thank God for art! What would we do without it?!
Hi Guys Another great track, from the lads of ATP you seemed to have the art of turning out good tracks, one after the other, But we all know, you only accomplish that level of quality by bloody hard work,, Enjoy, Thumbs Kev
646 downloads wow 55 comments it's like a blog already must be tiring lol great work keep it up
Looking for a track of yours that we haven't commented on but didnt have to go far. 2nd one down :-) Nice driving rhythm and a harder edge to this - seems to build in intensity. Great guitar work throughout. As always love your vocals and lyrics. You are a great songwriter Gibbo. Rated. John & Paul

Great track. Nice vocal and lyrics. Professional and easy to listen to. Enjoyed. Thumbs.
Great production skills in this track , vocals are top , its very catchy to, Big thumbs up
An amazing song, it really encapsulates the whole "treadmill" system most of us are on, and they're continually promoting the idea that we are in the best system on earth, and who are they? The "elite" never wait in lines for anything, people open doors for them, and they fly first class...etc A brilliant song Gibbo and Deggsy, in every way! Cheers, Andrew
a piece of mega songwriting its a great song well played and production is first class this song struck a chord with me cus im always tired i do sleep a lot it must my age
very catchy tune indeed, nice one man
I know how you felt dude! Been there myself. It takes so much energy out of you!!! On the plus side this is a great track, loving the bass, guitars and especially the synths! It all comes together so well. I like it, a lot!! Gold star for this one bud!!! Baz
Hello and thank for taking the time to listen. Im new to this site and listened to your music. I really enjoyed the nice and easy rhythm your music has. Im proud that you put your emotions out there with your song Tired.
The majority of us could sing chorus on this one except, of course, the few who have all the money!
Kind of a sad song... but has some hopeful vibes carefully placed and woven into the musical fabric. A curious song indeed, worthy of a few listens for sure! Sounds like someone is jamming to me!!! - DJ Frankie
Always keen to catch up with a new ATP track. Harder edge to this one - has a great groove that builds nicely ,relentlessly driving the track forward. Lyrics and vocal performance convey a sense of weariness and desperation which i guess reflects on how you felt at the time. A strong composition and very well realised. James
Oh man, so sorry about the financial woes you mention in your track comments, I how that is... But I like this song, your vocals are always so clear and crisp and the music you write is so good! Some of the best art comes out of hard times, believe me man, I write some of my happiest music when I'm so depressed I could just about...myself...you know. This song reminds me of "Riders on the Storm" by Jim Morrison and The Doors. Really good song Paradox, you've done it again, this is just amazing! So happy to vote for this one!! Take care my friend, - DJ Frankie
Very nice indeed. Cool production reminds me of Floyd a little?
Just a note to say thanks a lot for taking the time to listen and comment on my tracks, really appreciate it. Mike.
I love this track for so many reasons! First of all it has a really cool groove type feel to it. Had to almost get up and dance for sure. Love the unusual melody which threw me off a bit, but damn it works so well. Overall I think this track was produced just perfectly. This is just a cool song no doubt about it. Love it! Great job and always keep the faith!
Good song! Sorry I missed this 1st x around. Nice mellow feel which I dig. The undersated vocal works really well for the tune as well. Nice lyric. Thumbs
I was gonna say it reminds me of Genesis post Gabriel then PJ mentions Gabriel. Oh well!!! Good work - I agree about the relentless rhythm underpinning the lyrical theme. I like the guitar sounds too. Good vocal delivery Kevin too. One small crit would be when the "I'm so tired" "chorus?" comes in at 1 min 05, a more distinct change in the backing would be appreciated dude. Thumzup dude and sorry for the lateness
Excellent song! Expresses, what many of us feel nowadays. The intense and somewhat monotone backing music stresses the feeling of dispair in your voice. Well done!
Matey...this is still my favourite song on here...there's just something about it...keith
Wednesday mentioned the comparison with Chris Rea and road to hell which I think is valid! It has an energy which 'drives' it along :) Take Care Andy :)
It's time for a new system. Most of us have been or still are there fella. Great work, we hear you pain.
Nice one mate!
Reminds me a bit of Chris Rhea's Road to Hell. It's got that relentless rhythm and captures the sort of rat race tread mill some people feel they just can't get off. Excellent. Love Wednesday x
Hi there ATP. I totally agree with Angel Of Dawn cause your vocals sound abit like Peter Gabriel. Funny enough I can also hear abit of James Oakwood in your vocal. Really glad to see you high up in the chart. This is a really catchy song and your vocal performance and emotion on this is spot on! PJ
This track make me think to Peter Gabriel's music...good elements there...the track pass well in my ears.
Great track - glad I stopped by.
I dig it. Had me grooving. I really like those vocals. Nice job, Kevin. Thumbs.
This is cool! Has a touch of "Dire starights" influence it seems but what song doesn't have someone else's influences therein? You have a keen ear for the mix and your songs always display that quite well! Sorry I got here so late. Good stuff and not to worry, I'm tired too! -Mike
Millions can relate to this one my friend, Great, a number one for me. could Imagine the late John Lennon performing this. I am gonna be singing this the rest of the day, and probably get me guitar out and strum up a few bars or so. ----------------------------------------------- A few listen more, actually like 5 more listen latter and I am Hooked to this, like no other i've heard today and it's now in my blood stream
Oh gibbo man i can relate to this big time been in a financial slump and our manger just quit because she couldnt market us so i feel you great song voted BRILL
Had to come by for another listen, and a dl. Thanks man! Great tune....:)
i don t know if you agree with me, but this track remenber me a band that i like from 70 s progressive rock, name: CAN, fantastic work
music can relieve the pressures of life, like musical medicine, thats what this song is. I hear you on this track, it has a smooth interplay.
Great track really like the guitars on this. I get your sentiment, here's hoping 2013 is better for us all......David
Lets hope things get better in 2013. I like everyone else can relate big time. Man does this have an edge to it. Love that. I can feel everything. This track sings to me. Dam this is good. One of my new favorites from you. Love it! Eric
This is really funky Kevin! ...there's a driving pulsing beat that pulls us along with you. Yeah...I can relate to this totally...your dark vocal brings it all across perfectly...love them guitars! D.L. s going in my favourites file!! Cool. cool, cool, keith
A bouncing circus of sound !!! Lotta elements coming together for the show...Voxs is smooth with a tad of rasp... Gilmore ish ... Well done !!!
Great track, puts me in my of my here ..Gerry Rafferty. Fabulous music and bringing together with a subject matter that most all of us cna relate to. This is a really great track.
Yeah I think a lot of us can relate to the lyrical content of this track.. what a fab track, love the rythm and it's well constructed with god melodic structure etc... really enjoyed this and it certailnly deserves to be at number 1.. well done!!!
A wide stance in the audio spectrum spreads this beyond the walls. Love the little nuances in the way the instruments play off each other. Clever and that polished vocal finishes this cool spin nicely.
EXCELENT!!!! The more i listen the more i like lol. rated
Great groove goin' here! Excellent hook, that chorus will be stickin' with me all day I'm sure :) Thumbs up!
Happy New Year, Kevin...or is it? The beats sure speak to a relentless struggle...staying on this side of whatever economic cliff we are staring at....I'm so...(f___ed came to mind...if I could fill in the ellipsis ;) funny that despair is a deep source of inspiration and repeated patterns speak to that frustration that grips us in those moments. You've struck a familiar chord with many of us. From the mix to the octave bass notes and descending lead guitar phrases...to the vocals that really do evoke the "tired" you sing of...FABULOUS! Thumbs!
This song sums up that situation so well and the melancholy style vocals are super along with the backing that is really in the groove! One good thing came out of that terrible experience and we are hearing it NOW. Love it!!
A super track this is Gibbo, I can really relate to it musically and lyrically, and now with the U.S.A facing a fiscal collapse, this is as real as it gets! Musically I love the chugging 80's (perhaps that's the flanging?) guitar and drums (love it) There's also a subtle effect on your vocals, which adds to the sense of fatigue too, now thats brilliant! Cheers (hopefully) Andrew
Man this is one cool song!. I very much dig the music and the lyrics are so damn familiar to my life (unfortunately). Thanks for this one.....
Nice! I'm glad to know that others out there feel the same way I do, you describe the frustration well. The music is quite different than I'm used to hearing from you - it's really good and I can even relate some of the sounds to cash registers and coins. Pro quality work, if you ask me. Great work!
A Tuesday Paradox was formed in 2008, a duo, Kevin "Gibbo" Gibbons and Byron Jones.
Byron Jones escaped the Paradox in Dec 2012 but his talent remains on this page.
Tony Gibbons wrote, sings and plays guitar on Never Gonna Let This Die, Byron on keys, Gibbo, more guitars and production.
CORINNE came to sing on "A Christmas Lament" and was responsible for writing and singing "Simple Things" with some musical accompaniment from Jones, Gibbons and Wigmore
Cure-ish, Floyd-ish and something else here that you bring to the table..gentle with a pinch of sadness and a latent strength all hidden just beneath the surface that glides and glistens between my ears. Absolutely lovely.
