Spacewalk ( Soundtrack)
What can i say....its just jaw dropping.Beautiful and haunting at the same time if that makes sense.Again andy wonderful emotion and arrangement to the piece. .
Lovely sounds, sir!
Seriously good. When I have more time I'll be back to listen to everything you have here. I am an official fan! Almost as good as Danny Elfman, which is meant as a compliment since I think he's a legend. Rated.
Hi, thanks for dropping by my page. I've just listened to a few of your tracks and am very impressed... are you doing this for a living? If not, you should be!
LOVE IT! I am totally with you on this! Beautiful and haunting. I feel weightless!
Yep, this is very cool. Quite complete and imaginative. Here's a rate M8!
Another beautiful track Andy.... andthey all fit so well together... the master at work here!
Well Andy back for more of your Sapce themed tracks or score i should say! First off i was reading your desciption of the track and couldnt help but feel how you described the score! There is a sadness in this track but i feel the hi strings give a feeling hope! I think your dedication to space themed scores is definitly paying off for you becasue ive listened to 2 or 3 not sure but they do make me think space! As you know and heard i tried a space themed track but nowhere near a space theme as your latest offerings! Best of luck with it Andy! Marty
Nice soundtrack piece, i especially liked the intro, rated:)
i read something about connecting you to some movie people, and i can only stand by these words firmly, one must have a very lively imagination to be able to create these kind of spectrums and evolving stories... it' really really, imagine what a real orchestra could do with your compositions...humble ratings from me
I stronly suspect that it is not just your spacemen who have been on a journey, Andy and that the discipline needed to write a complete sequence of music to a specific theme has caused you to go on a journey of discovery and enlightenment as well. Your touch becomes more and more sure as this sequence progresses and the whole will undoubtedly be greater than the sum of the parts. This is one particular genre you appear to have made your own. What a fine story teller you are! I can hear the suspense, the serenity and isolation - the whole plot reveals itsself very naturally. That breathing sound you are using sometimes is rather eerie, good choice. Another fine, emotional piece of music from you! Bow from me :-).
I'm not about to spoil your perfect score so far Andy! And with good reason... One more wonderful creation by you! Now to just get you hooked up with some movie people! Bravo! :)
Kubrick used choir quite effectively in the film 2001:A Space Odyssey, and it works here too - beautiful harmonies, slightly dissonant in places which I love. Very well done Andy:-)
Love the melody lines in this one Andy ..... the string lines are excellent! ... chris
Your output is phenomenal at the moment Andy. Another quality piece. You definitely capture the tension at the beginning. To my ears a choral sound doesn't belong in space, however that doesn't take away from what is a great piece of work. Nice one, Martin
Phenomenal output Andy, phenomenal track. Movie music par excellence.
Quality Mr F! A great score, and i can really imagine this in a major motion picture, hollywood style! THis is crying out to be used in a movie! Superb! Mark
Lovely stuff again Andy, you really have this space theme style in the bag mate, loving the choral voices & the strings...quality mate, rated
Great job again Andy. Freakbeaty Katchaturian? Probably not...;-) Minor point: I think the cymbal crashes sound a bit out of cync in places due to the slow attack on the main string. Love the choral sounds, and the plucked strings that come in around 3:30 area offer great contrast. Beautiful track.
Andy - I don't know what you are on at the moment but I wouldn't mind a bit myself ;-). Keep them coming - you have obviously got some inspiration going here Andy. The orchestration is great (and the Magnus Choir too). Truly great stuff and, again, why aren't you being signed for these pieces.
There's some nice melodies in here like the choir and the breathing noise is a clever touch works well. I feel the Symbol is a bit overused. needs to be a lot softer IMHO But other than that I'm impressed. Reminiscent of Katchaturian's Gayne ballet suite (Ithink?)which was used in 2001. Cheers :-)
Yes I agree with Ricky this is another great one, reminds me of a film I watched once I think it was Cleopatra or something like that.....great Stuff Andy, you seem to be an expert at this.. Saph x
another really evokative track dude...reminds me of old tv progs...space themed... very dramatic...feels a little sad as well...love the monks they sound really dark and errie..i could imagine this with a bit of dirt chucked on top...kinda freakbeaty idm....That probably means very little to you..... thumbs up dude
Hi! I have been interested in music since an early age and now enjoy making tracks with the various software available.Such as Edirol, EWQLSO and my new addition, Miroslav Philharmonik which has some strings to die for, all this sequenced in Fruity Loops. I now seem to concentrate on composing Classical Soundtrack material. I also enjoy rearranging tracks in collaboration with the awesome talent on show here. Please stop by anytime and enjoy! The Chambers album has been accepted in the Music Dept of the National Library of Israel and hopefully will be added to the holocaust museum there.

I really enjoyed the melody. Loved the flute.... more than the bass :)
If I had my music software working, I could put my finger on it, but overall, just loved it!
Seeing as how I have been completely laid up for the past two doing doing nothing but honking into a handkerchief and spluttering like a man drowning (Ed: just a seasonal cold, tut tut poor reviewer), it seems appropriate that I should come riding back into the fray on orchestral wings. On second thought, after that sentence, maybe I should just go back to bed. Andrew Foyston (to give
Valour and Honour – Andy F- Essence Review Well, what can I say? It’s a huge track and no one can deny! Huge sounds, very dramatic indeed! I’ll try to skip the obvious comment of “this should be in a film” because it is obviously your intention Andy, to make your tunes fire the imagination and conjure up all kinds of themes and scenes to which your tracks could be impl
This an immensely dramtic and emotional piece of music. It's actually difficult to think where to start. The beginning is probably the best place. The haunting melody at the beginning truly sums up the emotion I can only imagine would be felt by prisoners being taken to the gas chambers. The bells add a nice touch, hinting to everyone that death is close. You can almost smell the mud and
Andy wondered if i was up for classical pieces when he submitted this for review! Good news is, yes I am! I have always loved orchestration, as does everyone if you really think about it. Whes used to it's full scope, 'classical' music fully captures and envokes all the feelings and meaning that modern music strives to recreate in different ways. Andy's 'The Last Galleon' does just that, the sus
T'was brass monkey weather time, three years ago, I reviewed a track called Di Da Mix (October 2003) and although liking its content (a little), disliking its production (even littler) and thoroughly berated the composer to get serious about his sound. AndyF (yep, you guessed it) obviously did because as many of you know, he's been in here plugging away ever since and btw, he did get s
Currently number one in MP3 Unsigned's Official chart, DHGC is a collaboration from two artists I have come to know very well, one for a very long time and one I've met within the last year. I first met AndyF a million years ago on another site when I reviewed his first track Di Da Mix (October 2003) and liked it. That hasn't always been the case, not because Andy isn't a good musician
Call me a sycophant if you like, I just don't care. I am bowled over by the undoubted talents of Andy F, and his latest track, Tears, is no exception. Building his orchestration around the superb vocals of Amy Caldwell, the loving care and attention given to this crisp and professional work is evident from the outset. It's always easy to eulogise over great songs and, naturally, personal taste c

ONE NOTE FIRST - “Although I am not totally into classical music, this song certainly has made me become interested in it. Fantastic score, fantastic instruments, fantastic feel to the song – HIGHLY RECOMMENDED” Review – Starting off smooth, the piano work done at the beginning is great, although could have been uplifted a bit to hear it a bit better, but with all the other instrument work
