Maybe Some Day
just thought I'd pop by and enjoy your craft, Raggy. Got lot to offer that is worth celebrating in these tunes on your page! Love the sentimentality here. Keep on doing the gigs. This is a delicious ballad, a slow dancin' charmer. Enjoyed!
Glad to see this back in the Top 100. I can understand why this is the most voted Country song of all-time on this site. Your vocals are excellent. Glad I came back to this classic. PJ
This is a very good song well written, nice smooth vocal delivery, produced and performed well done.

Hi Raggy, I've been walking through the Mp3 Unsigned Hall Of Fame and it's great to see that this is currently the most popular Country track of all time on this site with 38 votes. Can't believe I missed this song cause it is beautiful. Anyway I've voted and this popular track is now on 39. All the best. PJ
Man, This song is awsome. It gives me goosebumps. Very haunting. Excellant! Wes Lonestarindenver
Love this - the chorus is just brilliant and great, mournful guitar. Your vocal vibrato reminds us a bit of Stuart Staples from Tindersticks - and that's a good thing. And it's a challenge to use just three chords and STILL keep a song interesting but you've done it. Rated and recommended.
y'no Raggy, this puts me in mind of early Tony Jo White ... lovely relaxing 'open air' song.. This is just the best. You got my vote !
nice mellow country soung, sound quality's nice-thumbs up!
Great song, great singing, this is probably my favourite among your very impressive collection of songs. And when did they make more than three chords no one mention it to me :)
vocals sound sweet raggy, you were thinking about givin up music no way bro, you've got a crackin voice and your music is top knotch,it would be a sin to let it go to waste, hang in there bro,
lovely intro, wonderful vox as usual. Your music never fails to inspire x
Likin' it very much, Raggy. The upfront lead guitar and richly timbred vocal remind me a little of Chris Isaak and a very easy on the ears, a very pleasant listen this afternoon.
Hey Raggy , like the guitars! ..... I think the bass drum needs to be louder and maybe the bass guitar up a bit ... and I would like to hear some more harmonies on that chorus or track the one you have a few more times and bring the level down a bit ..... it's a nice track ...... regards chris m.
Still loving it Raggy...wish you were happier about it but for me, it is understated and beautiful which ios more than I could say about at least half the country songs I ever heard.
Yaeh I agree with James on the vocal, just right as far as effect goes, lovely clean guitar work, and the bass is nice too... Cant remember the other mix, but I see I thought it was ok then, and I like the song, and I like country (well some of it) it's a rather large Genre umbrella that encompasses so many styles, and this I suppose falls under it, but Dire Straits or Knopfler could perform a song like this, and would you call it Country ..I don't know..anyway sounds good mate!!!
I think the vox sounds perfect with the amount of echo you have dude. Thought I'd commented/rated this b4. This time then hee hee. The mix sounds good. You can hear everything (I think said I suddenly realizing that there maybe stuff I can't hear so how would I know?). Now that's a RANT
vocals sound ok to me bro.. the track itself is very enjoyable to the listener imo.. nice gutair playing m8y, rated!
You have a very interesting intonation to your voice........melody on this is nice and the chorus works for me. Kevin Mooney.
'The best lack conviction and the worst have infinite passion.' Your comments about yourself are way off, however your song is great. It has a really charming feeling to it, laid back...would love to hear it with more guitars on it. Keep up the good work, you come across as a sincere musician but one with a sense of humour, lovin it Raggy :@)
HI Raggy. Alot of great songs is done whit just 3 cords. This is a great song Excellent work Allover!!! By the way. thank you so much for your nice comments to my music :o)
Maybe Some Day - gorgeous easy-going track with a simple yet effective lead. I love the world-weariness in your voice, obviously accentuated by the smooth vibratto, reminds me of Darius Rucker from Hootie (in a good way). good .... bro!
thanks raggy:) Your music is sounding great as ever also xx
You nailed it Raggy. Having grown up with this sound my entire life, consider yourself validated. This would fit right in on the local country radio, you've even got the accent right! The rest of your song description has me a little confused; you mean it's possible to write a tune with more than three chords? Excellent performance, appropriate lyric and outstanding production. Rated.
i really like this. a very sweet melody. and lovely performance. well done mr raggy you achieved your goal. cheers rogue
Great song. So laid back and relaxed and the vocals are perfect. Really well suited to this song. Rated. Good job.
Chris Issacc...I love it... At first, I shyed away from vox....but you have distictive quality that grows on ya !!!! The song grows perfectly into the chorus and the lead guitar theme is excellent !!!! Simple melodies are what people can remember and often are treplayed in one's head long after listening Country music is bigger than all the other genres put together.. Your on the right track !!!! Keep playin from your heart and find happiness within yourself... Your kindness and artistry speaks volumes !!!!!
Lovely tune. Love the laid back feel of this song. I love the tone of the electric guitar. Very solid. Congrats on artist of the week...very well deserved!!!Rated
Came by to congratulate you on being featured artist of the week Raggy! Way to go!
Lovely track, warm and catchy, with a wonderful overall-feeling and guitars. I especially also love your refrain with your 2 voc layers. I'm immediately humming along with it. Thank you for the d/l :-).
Wow that is sweet. Should be a movie soundtrack. Great voice, guitar and production. Rated!
WELL... you picked the right three i suppose cause this sounds great!... I like your style man... choice stuff!
hey thankyou so much for my review. i love blues too, thats where my heart lies. your song is wonderful, i wish you lots of luck Nathalie
How come I've never heard this before?!?! Your voice is really thick and soothing, full of feeling and the songwriting is a perfect example of the power of simplicity. Excellent work! (And O'Sullivan is a guilty pleasure to me....lol)
I don't think it is the quantity of chords but the quality of the song (i have to say that as osmeone who often bases his music around two chords!) but you clearly have that quality - agree about gilbert!
Superb and up-lifting what else can we say.
I like the mood of your music, Mr Raggy! You're clearly very talented, and your skill has a songwriter is officially proven by this little gem! And your voice has a certain sadness to it, that goes with this song very well. The bits of vocal harmony are also very very nice!
Always worthy of a return. Top class.
Hi Bro 1st welcome to the site. 2nd consider yourself worthy as a songwriter. Very catchy tune. nice sound. Very relaxing and mellow. And believe me you are not a retard with a stroke. Thanks for the kind words my friend. Rated Dan E. Peck
Hi again, Rated. Cheers, Smudge from Smudgie
Maybe Some Day (;AWESOME TITLE;)drew me right in so glad it did.Man just keep them simple cause if the rest are as good as this all you need are 3 chords. They say that Hank sr. only knew 3 chords.Loving it right up.Beautiful song.My thumbs are up for this one for sure.Your Mp3Unsigned Bro.~(;Yrral Mallik;)
good clean guitar nice vocals all round decent song :) unique as well not often i hear this kinda sound and accent on vocals thumbs up dude
Sometimes 3 chords works just fine, often its the simple songs which are the most effective. This has a catchy chorus which builds on that which was laid down in the verse. Vocals are nice and smooth, and I love the tone of the lead guitar.
a very soli tune from the vocals to the great guitar, and really catchy chorus
we're liking this one man, great song well sung, and hey we use 3 chords a lot too so dont worry any musician would agree with you. thanks for the comment you leftus as well it was nice to get it. A-Fix
You know the reason that 3 chord songs are so popular is that they work so well - nothing wrong with that. What is captivating about this one is that you've still managed to create something distinctive at the same time. Great song! Graham
Welcome Raggy!Hope your stay is a happy one here as I am sure it will be."Maybe some Day" A catchy number and verrrry wel sung indeed . Some wicked guitar in there too.Rated.. Andy :)
puts me into a relaxed mood, a very honest sound, and you look like an honest guy. like the production. yeh man, i like your music! glad i stopped by for this! rated
Hi Raggy & Welcome! I really like diversity in songwriting! Country to blues, rock etc. I admire that in a songwriter. I don't think the 3 chord songs will ever be finished! This is a great listen! Enjoyed your song, vocals...the instruments and all! Way to go! :) Carol Sue
Oh yesssss, what a beautiful song, well written and performed. I love it so much (I too was a big fan of Gilbert's and Alone Again Naturally was lovely) You are indeed a songwriter but that voice!!! Pure honeyyyyy baby....I'm adding you to my list and any time you have new songs up, please do not hesitate to let me know. By the way, thanks for the comments on Poem Painter...I do hope you check out some of the others because they are very diverse as I work with many composers (I am just the lyricist) Anyway, if I have one left, you get my nomination for this lovely song dawn
What a cool surprise :o) This is a really lovely relaxed chilling in an open top car driving through the sunny countryside type song. Lovely guitar work, and you have an excellent voice, a real nice track. ONAGER
I can always admire an artist who can take 3 chords and make a very full sounding song, this one being a perfect example. Excellent
nice song raggy. - There are great things happening below our horizon in Malaysia - can't wait to hear more - keep it up and thanks for sharing this with us - jon.
Back for another listen Raggy.Excellent.I'd say you proved yourself worthy as a sonwriter and then some.
Back again Raggy. This is a great song indeed.
nice work Raggy - like how the guitar echoes the vocal melody - those three chords work very well:-)enoyed! cheers - m.mohn
Noth'in erong with 3 chord country songs. They're the backbone of country music. This a nice piece of eork from the lyrics,to the vocals,to the excellent musicianship.Welcome to Mp3Unsigned.
very very solid structure a good class in structuring a track
Very enjoyable Raggy.
Raggy, welcome. Good song. Good feel to it. Very simple, but pretty effective lyric. I enjoyed it. Rated.
Hi Raggy... 3 chord songs are sometimes the best, simplicity is often the best way, now I like this song, nice melody, and an infectious rythm, I reckon you have done a nice song here and I enjoyed it... well done!
Hey Raggy, Welcome to the site. Liked this a lot. It has a very open, honest sound, and it shows what can be done with three chords... Nice guitar work, and smooth vocal delivery.
My Album- Maybe Some Day - is now for sale! Check it out in the Store. Living in a part of the world where expressivity in music is confined to limited categories, and most musicians just playing cover versions, I have a burning desire to break out and do something that says I can be me.
I love all sorts of music, and my songs represent whatever I feel best expresses a particular idea. Call me crazy, but I'll do anything from Country to the Blues.....the only limitations are my own limitations as a musician, but as I keep improving... :)
First time i've ever heard Raggy and I'm impressed. This track follows an interesting linear journey that varies from a lush pentatonic bed to and fro with an eastern minor feel mixed with some jazz for good measure. All of this coupled with an airy synth for backing and some cool south east asian drums make this is very unusual mix that works nicely. Reading the comm
