Eye for an Eye - KtA Collab Ft. Christy
we never did finish this one... :(
First time hearing this. I adore Christy. I adore KtA, and you Phil have the goods as well. Three different talented artists in a collab best described as original music infused with passion. Yes the contrasts are apparent but still quite musical and leaves me with a sense of a dreamlike state. Any song that can do drum up a personal sense like that is successful work.
Don't know what I was expecting when I saw who was involved. I think I heard this before, No comment from me tho. So who knows ! Strong contrast between players. Peace,Ricky
This is really good... reminds me of Bone Thugs & Harmony.
Great production and music, well done Nexus(cool name haha)
Wicked sound, I love the music production, great flows!
Konichi-wa, fellow Celt. Thanks for the comments, really appreciated. We do have to work on our vocals - we are actually looking for a new vocalist 'cos our last one popped his rivets after winning the "drink yourself to death" competition. He is now singing backup with the choir invisible. But enough about us. Love this track, very Linkin Park, cool rap and the female vocals are gorgeous. Revenge is indeed best served cold, preferably with a little white-wine sauce and a nice chianti. Yumm.
Hi Nexus. Wow I just can't believe I missed this one, it's a great collaboration!! The rapping is nice and Christy's sweet vocals give it a more than fine chorus. Also I've got to mention the great KtA for producing this. It's my favourite of yours so far. Love it!! Thumbs up. PJ
That's what I like about this site, I visit genre's I don't usually, but when I saw the names involved with this'un I had to check it out....glad I did! Well-constructed mix of styles, excellent production and an all round entertaining listen. Kudos to the three of ya...thumbs up!
I feel like DSSMusic about this also. I absolutely love the melody and instruments and Christy's "dreamy" vocal. It is definitely a striking juxtaposition of styles and I liked it! Rated!
Thanks for all the comments so far, glad you are liking it. We are hoping to do a bit more work on it - don't feel it's quite finished yet. By the way, I've put up the lyrics if anyone is interested. Thanx again!
The mix of styles works well for us with the piano, drums and Christy´s dreamy vocal. Not a lover of rap usually but something about this grabbed me. Maybe its because the rap is so clear and understandable even when it the speed is increased which works well. Well done all....
An Excellent collaboration - Christy has never sounded so good - love the fusion of styles in this track - very well constructed - lovely mix and production - rated. James
Nice work guys! Some of my fave artists and peeps involved in this which makes it even better:-) Not my preferred genre normally but this had me from start to finish. Thumbz
Lovely work here, well put together & production is clear, well done!

Very great song, I love the mix between the female voice and the hip-hop part of the man voice. Great mix
