-(Acrid)(Switch)- is a vehicle used to express emotions and release energy using the great music of electronica as release.
Black Velvet Rain is a collaboration with the very talented artist Vashalaka. Black Velvet Rain explores further into the strange and dark corners of electronica.
Also further excursions have thus far included a vocal remix version of Unwanted Hope with The Delivery System. Seek him out in my recommendations and give it a listen, it's an excellent version.

This is a project began by Mark Simister (aka LanK) in the spring of 2004 with the help of Vashalaka (many thanks to you my friend!)
-(Acrid)(Switch)- is about blending musical styles to create an experience. Unless you're used to the "Acrid Switch" sound, you'll probably hear something new for you on this page.
Sounds being fused in here have ranged from house, electro, trance, progressive, dnb, breaks, ambient, and all twisted with a mental splinter of experimental.
I also like to DJ on the side, using the name of DJ RiDDLeMaRK for the venture. I spin about every form of electronica; ambient, progressive, trance, house, electro, techno, breakbeat, drum n bass, and everything in between.
Anyone listening please give feedback, let me know what you think, good or bad.
And also, thank you to anyone who comes around, and I hope you have enoyed your visit.
And finally, thank you to everyone who I have spoken with in the past from the site. You've made this a most memorable experience.
