Pazuzu (Collab with Tony Miller)
Long intro but the vibe kept me hanging in and i was rewarded with tony's guitar and the great amience feel. Good builds throughout too. Maybe the tambourine became overused. It's got more of a floyd vibe as it moves into the 2nd half. You irish Tony? Rated
We start off with some thunder. Cool. Then the song goes into some long bass notes and a slow kick and a tingking noise with the weird noise. So far it's sounding like it has a slow moving pace with a dark atmosphere. Definitely fits the portrait of where Pazuzu may inhabit. Maybe making an opposite song called Lamashtu. lol The guitar comes in and I'm liking that. I really like how you bring the other elements into the song. It's slow but goooood. I'm liking it! Then when the instruments finally combine into the main structure, it's on. That was brilliant. I like how the guitar lingers on with it's notes. Small solo's and stabbing notes. Really awesome job Tony did with that recording. I'm glad you had a chance to use him. This really is a wonderful colab. The song lingers a bit and there aren't many fills or alterations but the breaks and the dark atmosphere of the song more than make up for that. So does the ever changing notes of the guitar. The bass is very sly and secretive. I like that. Overall, it's a great track. The production was simple but it good simple. Not as vibrant as I would like but the mix was very strong. I could hear everything together without any problems at all. Nothing clashed so it's all good. The arrangement works because of the mood and atmosphere it portrays so no worry's there. I'd say it's worth a rating. Fine work here. Awesome colab. Have a great day!
Ah yes, Pazuzu of the tsicroxE;-) Pretty dark theme, has a kind of haunting sound throughout. Nice guitarwork Tony, very slick. Takes a little while before things all come together but when they do the track really hits a nice groove. Love teh delayed guitar parts too, nice epic feel added. Rated for sure!
Guitar tone's a bit Knopfler-ish, I like that, and love the melody your weaving with it Tony. Percussion is rock solid, wish I could keep time with a tambourine like that! Keyboards add the spook factor, quirky vocals are a nice touch too. Enjoyed! Thanks for tipping me off to it. Rated.
Very nice esrever slacov worked in this track.I love the production, set the mood nicely. The haunting pads are sweet, and well done on the vocal beats.Touch more bottom end but thats just me.Mr Miller the guitar licks are very fine indeed.Great tunage enjoyed and nice collab.
Nice production which is always a good start, a slow builder but works nicely towards that sweet guitar with those lovely pads over the top. Like teh abstract vocal as well. Ok so I w3as waiting for the bottom end to come in and it's a bit more acoustic than I was hoping for but sounds good. All in all this is a very sweet track indeed. Nice work.
Great moody production and playing here. I was clutching my lucky rabbits foot throughout. Has soundtrack written all over it.
very cool build up, clever tune, the subtle electronics combined with great guitarwork from Tony makes this a really good track. top!
