My Baby Girl
Fanstastic recording from 1991 for your daughter to keep forever.Tascam portastudio ahh remember them well. Some nice doubled vocals bet it was the bounce down method to get more track on a single cassette.
Your daughter isn't called Lily by any chance? Anyway... HER song is excellent, some nice sounds coming from the yamaha, bright production on this. Another great oldie. Easy vote. Gibbo
That reminds me...bobs greatest hits later. I didnt see the genre lable so reggae i was not expecting! Excellent work fella :)
Did you have "Dreds" in the day? Ya Rasta-mon! Brings out the Marley in all of us :) Enjoyed the lyrics...whimsical...the way kids make us feel (at least at that age...:P...before peer pressure, sex, drugs and rock n roll take the wheels off the baby strollers..) Fun-loving ...exactly the way I would expect a Kallen version of a lullaby to be :) Thumbs!
Don“t ya just love it when something evolves like this off the cuff. Always love a reggae feel as it kinda brightens my day and makes me think of sunshine instead of thunderstorms that we have today!! Pleased you are posting these oldies that stand the test of time and are still a great listen....
Man they were so cool those old Portastudio's and this is a laid-back masterpiece of island riddims and cool skanking! I love the overall balance of the sounds, and fantastic vocal layering! An easy vote from me! Keith, you movin' me man! Cheers, Andrew
Nice song Keith. ^_^
Great harmony Keith, and I dig that drum track....yeah! Works for me....thumbs up!
The intro almost stereotyped this song for me as a mid 80's clone until the raggae clicks twenty seconds in, Of which, completely suprised me and changed how I now perceive the intro. Good work Keith! A good musician can do that to me sometimes if I'm not paying close attention! -Mike

Well... Ive been plonking away on me old guitar it seems, for the last ten thousand years...just to amuse meself more than anything else...written/recorded many hundreds of tunes in various states of quality...from recordings made on shiny magnetic tape stuff, powered by magic elastic band thingys...yup...I have the technology of a wind up clockwork toy!
This is the only place I can be honest...and...maybe get away with it! ... My mission: To complete an album called: "Songs The 70's Missed" Ha!
