This little bright sharp x mas instrument is nice with these bells...good vocals, you have made many collabs with vocalists in the past isn't it ? Another succesful song in my opinion...Very musical !

Guess it doesn't matter how long a Christmas song is around, it's just perfect at this time of year (being Christmas; I guess ! ).... This has a classic 80's Christmas vibe - perfect. Must be snowing outside :) - and BELLS too .

ah...always a reason to comment...that's the point :) Liked the twist in this...what should be..a real belief in human kind (human kindness) - how could it fade away?...at least that is the way I'll interpret it....disappointment when what should be...isn't...the bells and trumpets really lift...the star, the tune for sure, but Corinne makes it special ...thanks for the reminder :)

I'd forgotten just how good this is....those lyrics are really poignant, and Corinne pours her heart into 'em. Accompaniment's some of your best work I've heard since Tired, I like the way you beef it up on that outro, driving that chorus hook deep into the conscious, I'll be humming this all day! I gather from the other comments that this was released before on mp3u. Never heard it until now - very nice tune! This song could be enjoyed at any time of the year but of course the bell sounds and the lyrics themselves make it a Christmas song. I love the trumpet that comes in at around 2:30 too. A treat for the ears! Thumbz from me.

At this time of year i get a bit sick of all the usual Christmas songs. If i hear Slade, Wizzard or Shakin bloody Stevens again i'm gonna start screaming. So its refreshing to ear a well written well performed original Christmas song. Tinged with sadness but still portraying the optimism of the Christmas season in its arrangement. Sweet vocals.

This is really nice gibbo - sister, wife or mother singing? Nice brass touches in this later on. It's a bit muddy in the mix at a low level and a little hissy too (hey it's hardly ever all good news LOL). Really enjoyed dude.

I am struck by the irony, intended or not, of your rather somber words as they stand in stark contrast to your sparkling orchestration. This is a very interesting and effective reflection on the season; one that breaks with the typical candy cane, sugarplum image with which we are all so familiar. I think it is rather courageous of you to present such an honest expression of a sentiment that many of us try, irrationally I believe, to deny as being a part of our holiday psyche.

Great christmas track , well arranged, catchy hook line too, nice songwriting skills in this one , happy christmas to you .

Great track indeed! Very well written, performed and produced. All the instruments fit like a perfect puzzle. This has a real singer-songwriter feel that takes me back to some of the great artists of the late 60's and 70's. A really fine track for sure. Great job and always keep the faith!

Really nice song. The sonic equivalent of a warm mince pie(perhaps I should put that in a song...ok maybe not). Anyway really enjoyed and thoroughly deserving of the xmas thumbs I hath bestowed upon it.

This has a timeless feel to it.. well, Christmas timelessness anyway. Vocals are sweet as heck and the production has a touch of Phil Spector vibe. Yeah, I'm really liking this sound a lot.

Quite commercial in sound and feel. I could easily see hearing (oxymoron"see hearing"?) this in an advertisement on television or in any mall playing softly by the carousel throughout the holidays. Again you have delivered an exceptional recording that is well mixed and performed. Well done! -Mike

Right from the opening chords, the lament was emerging as a well-crafted tune. Corinne's voice really suits this rueful reflection...the season for togetherness is often the worst for many people...got such a great arrangement..loved the church bells, and the trumpets, makes this a big tune, and the bass, drums, and guitars just anchor this so well. Great to hear a Christmas song to start the build up for us now that we are only 25 days away! Beautifully written and performed, complete with sleigh bells and even a trumpet thrown in. Corinne´s vocals are superb and this is just the kind of song that slips easily into the seasons radio listening. Well done and Feliz Navidad from us in Spain.
